"What do you want with ? Haven't we already made things very clear between us?"
Jiang Hui burst into laughter. "Look how worried you are. I'm not here to devour you. I just want to find a chance to repay you."
"Repay ? There's no need for that. We don't have to be so polite with each other."
Ling Zhenfei certainly didn't think Jiang Hui had anything to repay him for, and he most definitely couldn't allow Jiang Hui to stay by his side. Bai Ling had just called, getting mad over a Ji i.
If Jiang Hui were to appear by his side as well, he really wouldn't know how to explain it.
Watching Ling Zhenfei with a serious expression, Jiang Hui said, "Don't overthink it. I really do want to repay you. Whether you have a girlfriend or a wife and kids in Binyang, I absolutely won't interfere with your life. You can be assured of that."
"Then what on earth do you want to do?" Ling Zhenfei asked, sowhat puzzled.
He had been involved with Jiang Hui several tis, and although each occurrence was a matter of chance, he couldn't deny that the last two tis, it seed as if feelings had developed between them, not just for the sake of pleasure.
Jiang Hui said, "I want to beco your assistant. You do so many trivial things, and look at you, such a big star doing everything by yourself. You don't have that much ti."
Ling Zhenfei was taken aback. He had indeed considered hiring an assistant, but had never found the right person. What he wanted was a man, not a woman, and certainly not such a beautiful woman.
"I'm sorry, even if I were looking for an assistant, I would be looking for a guy. Besides, how could I have the heart to make you do all those tasks?"
Jiang Hui said, "What's there to feel embarrassed about? Just treat as a guy. Order to do anything, and I believe I can do it well. I can even be a punching bag. If you get angry, you can hit or scold ."
"I'll carry things when you're tired, bring you water when you're thirsty, hold an umbrella for you when the sun's too hot, and if you need sothing delivered urgently, I can be your courier. If you feel lonely at night, I can offer you comfort."

Ling Zhenfei replied, "I don't need others to do these things for . Since you're here, you haven't co for nothing. Hang out in Binyang for a few more days, and then you can go ho."
"Where else do I have to go now? I don't even know how to live my life at the mont," Jiang Hui said, sounding incredibly desolate.
"You're beautiful and educated. How can you not know how to live? Why not find yourself a boyfriend and get married?"
"I don't want to. I've made up my mind. Whether you agree or not, I'm sticking to you. Wherever you go, I'll follow."
Ling Zhenfei was truly helpless. Having such a flamboyant woman by his side every day would be a bit too ostentatious for him. No one would know what their relationship was.
"Jiang Hui, you're grown up now. Could you stop behaving like a child? This isn't doing either of us any good. What exactly are you after?"
Looking anxious, Jiang Hui said, "I really don't have any ulterior motive. I just want to do sothing for you. Pretend you don't know ; let be your assistant. I can see you often and earn money at the sa ti. That's my goal."
"Okay, but being my assistant isn't that easy; I have a lot of things that require an assistant's help, and I'm afraid you might find it too exhausting and not do a good job."
Jiang Hui imdiately cheered up upon hearing Ling Zhenfei's agreent, "I knew for sure you wouldn't leave behind. I will do everything you ask of ."
Ling Zhenfei shook his head helplessly, "With such a pretty assistant, who would believe it if we told them."
Jiang Hui hugged Ling Zhenfei's arm to her chest joyfully and said, "Who cares what others think? I'm your assistant. Whatever you ask of , I'll do without a word of complaint."
Ling Zhenfei was still hesitant, but he had seen Jiang Hui's determination before; once she set her mind on sothing, she never backed down, making it impossible for anyone to make her take even a single step back.
The two of them chatted on the plane, mostly about Ling Zhenfei telling her about his plans in Binyang and giving Jiang Hui so tips on what to pay attention to.
After landing, they took a taxi to the police station first because Ling Zhenfei's car had been left there due to their hasty departure the last ti.
He hadn't had the chance to return to Spirit Mountain after coming out of Xianling Mountain when he received Guo Qing'an's call. Knowing Han Lian had an accident, he had driven to the police station, so the car had been left there all this ti.

After giving Jiang Hui his restaurant's address, since she wasn't familiar with the area, she could only drive with the navigation, finally reaching his restaurant under Ling Zhenfei's directions.
Arriving at his restaurant, Ling Zhenfei was stunned because the renovation was nearly complete, and the exterior of the restaurant had completely changed.

In the ground floor hall, the dining tables were stylish, and they were spaciously placed apart, allowing two people to dine and chat; if they lowered their voices just slightly, others couldn't overhear.
Decorative paintings adorned the walls, including oil paintings and traditional Chinese paintings, presenting a blend of Western and Eastern artistic styles without any sense of clutter.
A piano sat at the head of the hall, its black body conveying a sense of weight just by looking at it.
The stairs to the upper level were also all made of wood, but they made no creaking sounds when walked upon, clearly indicating high-quality material without a cheap feel.
The decor on the second floor was even more extravagant. Each table was adorned with a crystal chandelier, which was very unique. The location was good too, as one could see the whole street from the windows.
There were two types of chairs: one was a very textured wooden chair, and the other was a genuine leather sofa, catering to different types of custors.
The second floor also had private rooms, each with a different decor style, giving them a very strong sense of the era.
