Lin Yun knocked Guan Renjie unconscious with a single blow. Instantly, the surrounding Guan Family guards were terrified. It seed they had only just rembered that the young man before them was the only son of Lin Xiaotian, one of the three Grand Generals of Yanhuang Country. A tiger doesn’t father a dog.
"Young Master Lin, we were wrong! We were blind! We..." Soon enough, the first Guan Family guard dropped to his knees, begging Lin Yun for forgiveness.

"Yes, yes, yes." At his question, the guards didn’t dare to lie, and they all nodded in agreent.
"Good. All that fighting has made hungry. Go kill a Demon Beast and roast it. After that, bring Lu Tao and Lu Bingning to ."
"Right, right away! We’ll get right on it, Young Master Lin. Please wait a mont."
"Oh, and one more thing. Wake Guan Renjie up. I have so questions for him," Lin Yun added, pointing at the unconscious man.

After being fed a Healing dicine and having the wound on his head bandaged, Guan Renjie soon ca to. But now, when he looked at Lin Yun, his eyes held nothing but fear.
Seeing Guan Renjie’s timid deanor, Lin Yun smiled to himself. ’This Guan Renjie is really spineless. He and Lu Tao are two peas in a pod, every inch the spoiled brats.’
"Co here," he said calmly to Guan Renjie.
After a long hesitation, Guan Renjie cautiously approached Lin Yun, looking extrely nervous.
Seeing him like this, Lin Yun gave a resigned smile, then deliberately hardened his expression. "You’re afraid of ?"
Guan Renjie remained silent, which was a clear admission. Having been single-handedly defeated by Lin Yun, he had given up any ideas of crossing him. ’He’s a Demon Fiend. You can’t judge him by normal standards, especially not his combat prowess.’
"Guan Renjie, you tried to kill today. How should I repay you for that?" A smile played on Lin Yun’s lips as he asked in a mild tone.
The mont Lin Yun spoke, Guan Renjie jolted, his eyes filling with deep fear. ’He’s going to kill ! He’s really going to kill ! We’re in the Yunlu Mountain Range; he could easily dispose of my body without a trace.’
"You can’t kill ," Guan Renjie finally managed to choke out after a long pause.
"Why not? So, you can try to kill , but I can’t kill you?"
"I... I..." Hearing Lin Yun’s words, Guan Renjie stamred, unable to find a reason to persuade him. After struggling for a mont, he finally went for broke and yelled.
"Lin Yun, we grew up together! When we were kids, we even watched Ah Xiang take a bath together...!"
Guan Renjie’s voice was loud, but Lin Yun, who was listening beside him, suddenly snapped. He kicked Guan Renjie squarely in the ass, roaring, "Are you an idiot?"
Ah Xiang had been a servant in the Guan Family’s household. The young maid had been quite pretty. Guan Renjie’s voice was so loud that his words clearly reached the ears of a nearby Guan Family guard. A knowing smile spread across the guard’s face.
Lin Yun saw the smile and was mortified. Having no other choice, he shot a fierce glare at the guard. The man imdiately gave an awkward laugh.
"I didn’t hear a thing. I think the fight ssed with my hearing."
Only then did Lin Yun’s expression soften. He turned and hissed at Guan Renjie, "Are you doing this on purpose? When did *I* ever peek at Ah Xiang bathing?"
His words were heavy with threat. Any normal person would have understood his aning and known how to respond. However, our Eldest Young Master Guan proved to be an exception. He looked at Lin Yun with a wronged expression and said,
"But we did! Don’t you rember? You even said Ah Xiang had a big butt and was definitely the type to bear sons..."
Hearing this, Lin Yun was so furious he could have spat blood. This Guan Renjie was an absolute moron. Lin Yun even suspected the guy had a pig for a brain and couldn’t understand a simple hint.
But because of Guan Renjie’s outburst, Lin Yun’s killing intent lessened considerably. At the sa ti, so childhood mories began to surface.
’Sigh, people really do change. To think the boy I used to play with would grow up to try and kill .’ With a sigh, the killing intent Lin Yun felt toward Guan Renjie had faded significantly.
"It’s your fault for trying to steal Lu Bingning..." Guan Renjie muttered under his breath.
Hearing this, Lin Yun raised his hand as if to strike. ’This guy has no idea how a captive should act.’ Seeing Lin Yun raise his hand to hit him, Guan Renjie yelped in fear.
"Don’t hit , don’t hit ! Lin Yun, how about this? I’ll let you have Lu Bingning. Just don’t kill , okay?"
At his words, a sly grin appeared on Lin Yun’s face, because as Guan Renjie spoke, Lu Bingning and her brother had just walked up behind him.
Seeing them, Lin Yun put on a righteous act. "Guan Renjie, what do you think Lu Bingning is? An object? Sothing to be traded?"
Hearing Lin Yun, Guan Renjie puffed out his chest proudly and said, "She’s a woman! As the saying goes, won are like clothes, but brothers are like our own limbs. You and I are brothers. If you like her, I’ll just give her to you."
"You’re wrong to say that, Guan Renjie. I believe n and won should be equal. Besides, if Lu Bingning were here right now, would you still dare to say that?" Lin Yun continued to play along.

He hadn’t even finished speaking when a furious roar ca from behind him. "Guan Renjie, you’ve got so nerve! I’m right here! If you’ve got the guts, say that again!"
At the sound of that voice, Guan Renjie instantly deflated.
What happened next was no surprise. Guan Renjie got a brutal beatdown. Striking out in a rage, Lu Bingning was a terrifying sight. She beat Guan Renjie half to death.
