The Astral Stormsprite Spirit, Myriad Windblades Gale Spirit and the Crimson Sun Devourer Spirit remained stunned as they looked at Davis in the distance.
Who was this human? Where did he e from that this monstrous human woman claimed that he could save them? First of all, why would a human even bother to help them?
They had no idea.
They stilled as the two of them seemed to be glaring at each other, so they didn’t interrupt. No, they couldn’t interrupt.
“Fairy Thunderblaze, it’s been a long time since we met but you’re challenging me to a battle already?”
“How can that be?” Fairy Thunderblaze’s lifted her chin, “I was merely stating the benevolent Divine Emperor of Death might buy their lives from using a few Primarch Grade resources. It never hurts to be kind and benevolent, right?”
Davis’s lips curled, “Are they your prisoners now?”
“Indeed and I do claim the entire Shard Region. Any lifeform or resource here belongs to me. Naturally, as someone whom I am fond of, Isabella and her family can take anything here and I won’t plain but if others like the Mistwalkers, Stormsongs, Dawnbreakers and the spirits of the Verdant Time Galaxy want it, then I will be forced to retaliate in kind.”
Davis nodded lightly.
They had already captured most of the Mistwalker Family supreme geniuses. As for the Stormsong Family of the Thundering Serenity Upper Realm and the Dawnbreaker Family of the Virtuous Dawn Upper Realm, they were nowhere to be seen but it was not like he went to search for them.
The same could be said about the spirits from the Verdant Time Galaxy.
His heart beat rose a bit in excitement, wondering if he could witness a time-attributed spirit since they were an extreme rarity.
Davis raised his hand to his face, rubbing his chin, “Hmm… do you want to have a small spar with me?”
Fairy Thunderblaze revealed a faint smile beneath her semi-transparent red veil, “I know I can’t match your prowess if you use your Body Tempering Cultivation or your special Soul Forging Cultivation.”
Davis blinked, “You want me to only use my Essence Gathering Cultivation?”
“Your wish.” Fairy Thunderblaze waved her crimson sleeve, “It doesn’t matter to me since I know I will fall a bit short in the end but it would be a good way to see how I need to improve further. After all, if you weren’t there, I doubt I’d make immense progress as I didn’t think it was possible to go any further than what a supreme genius would be considered. You were the person who widened my horizons, and for that, you have my gratitude.”
“Oh, really?” Davis was pleasantly surprised to be placed on such a pedestal from someone whom he perceived to be highly arrogant.
“That’s true, my Emperor,” Isabella quipped in from the side, “If we didn’t know it was possible, we wouldn’t have tried making any waves. We would’ve sat back and thought that was the apex, and moved on to the next cultivation stage like any other supreme genius. I don’t know about Zenova but you are the only reason I’m this strong. Isn’t that right, sisters?”
“Yes~” Evelynn, Tia, Nadia and even Myria echoed.
“…”
Davis blinked as he was taken aback. He became embarrassed, nearly blushing to be given this much credit.
He was just trying to tease Fairy Thunderblaze but his women affirmed that he was the foremost reason for their incredible prowess. His heart couldn’t be filled anymore. It almost melted.
*Bzzz!~*
Golden-scarlet sphere of energy formed around Fairy Thunderblaze. Her golden divine lightning and scarlet divine flame undulated with a frightening momentum, appearing like they couldn’t be stopped. They were laced with strands of violet arcs that rumbled all over the sphere like they were miniature form of thunderous sound energy.
“Let me introduce you to my Thunderfire Laws, the fusion of Fire, Lightning, Thunder Laws fused with Sound Laws. I superimposed the Laws I have prehended to acheive this monstrous preliminary form. It is a farcry from its peak potential but as always, if I can battle it out with you who has prehended the so-called Obliteration Laws, I’ll gain more prehension in Thunderfire Laws better than training by myself.”
Fairy Thunderblaze’s voice resounded like thunder amidst the stormy skies above her. She looked like a deity of lightning who has descended from the heavens to meet out punishment, her black eyes flickering with violet-gold arcs.
She looked extremely majestic that even Evelynn and Myria thought that she would be a fine addition only if she hadn’t rejected them.
After all, they knew she was fond of Davis but wouldn’t share with them, so it was no use talking. Still, they also didn’t approve of the way she does things, so they imagined they just couldn’t stand each other even if they admired each other’s prowess.
Davis cast a glance at Isabella.
She inclined her head and smiled, nearly flipping her tongue at him in a gesture of jest since she seemed to have revealed certain matters about him to Fairy Thunderblaze.
He shook his head. His Empress was really trying to get him hooked with Fairy Thunderblaze. He could only imagine what type of adventure they had together for Isabella to be passively remending her to him.
Davis returned his gaze, “Well, I suppose I can acpany you in your desires since I owe you a lot for saving Evelynn back then. I will not harm you, so don’t worry and attack me with all you got.”
Fairy Thunderblaze’s brows narrowed, “This time around, I don’t wish to use the favors. Don’t hold back. If you dare hold back, I will look down on you for being extremely arrogant.”
“Seriously?” Davis blinked.
Fairy Thunderblaze nodded.
“That’s bad.” Davis gave a casual smile, “I can’t have you looking down on me since you’re like second woman I know who made it to this level without anyone’s direct help.
NOTE:
My mom is in critical condition in the hospital. It is quite serious enough to end badly, so I won’t be able to write for the next day and after properly.
I’m not even in the mood to focus.
Don’t buy privilege this month since I can’t assure you that the novel will have a stable release of chapters. I will be busy for the next week taking care of mom, so chap counter will be paused.
