Rokushi Mirai opened her mouth, "My avatar came into contact with a human who called themselves a Great Fiend while venturing on the Golden Radiance Continent. Fairy Mingzhi issued a mission to track down this Great Fiend, and it seems like your Master Deathseeker and Rioxys Plume, who is acting as a guardian, are on it. I'm also helping them track this Great Fiend down, although they seem to be constantly eluding our net."

Davis's lips curled in amusement.
He had heard of Great Fiends before. They were existences that managed to enter the Exalt Stage despite using Death Laws to succeed in their Law Merge, a feat that was considered crazy even if it was branded as an evil power.
He had also heard that the Frostcloud Sword Empress faced the Death Eclipse Autarch, a Level Nine Primarch whose prowess was two levels higher. He was one among the five Great Fiends, but was still defeated, controlled by the Vile Enchanter, and made into a puppet.
The Vile Enchanter had seemingly used that Great Fiend's death essence to make the Great Fiend's corpse or the Great Fiend's living soul a puppet.
In Davis's opinion, that was freaking terrifying.
Still, for one of these Great Fiends to appear here, he wasn't surprised.
There was Warsten Xsan in the Golden, a young lad who had seemingly awakened a death-attributed physique and was going slightly insane. Surely, if he were a person who had some destiny, he would be taught by someone how to control his physique, not to mention that Warsten Xsan knew the Divine Emperor of Death and took him as an idol, even though there was nearly no one in this continent who had heard about him.
This was the working of fate, inescapable and over-enpassing for anyone who isn't a Divergent and a person of great destiny.
Davis expected such a master to appear, and there they were, encountering Rokushi Mirai.
Why?
Davis felt Rokushi Mirai's avatar encountered this Great Fiend because she had the black-white stone with her main body. He guessed this person must have sensed the quality of her Death Laws was significantly high.
Perhaps Rokushi Mirai could've even been tempted to take the black-white stone on an adventure in order to use it against the Great Fiend, only to end up having it stolen. After all, she would've also fantasized about being able to control the black-white stone and gaining its full recognition, but she was a smart woman and a person who valued her own life.
Hence, she didn't take it out at all and probably even sensed the strangeness and returned it to Myria.
"That Great Fiend has probably marked your avatar for some reason, and hence, you still haven't found them since they know the direction you're traveling in."
"…" Rokushi Mirai nodded, thinking it was likely.
Her avatar had yet to return and hadn't undergone any checks.
Considering these Great Fiends were Exalt or Primarch-level existences, she knew she wasn't a match for them, nor was she capable of finding any marks if they placed one on her.
"However, we should cancel this mission. Inform Mingzhi to retract the mission. If this person really is a Great Fiend, then even Rioxys might find it difficult to deal with them if she got caught off guard."
"But leaving them to roam around is dangerous. They might locate our sanctuary."
"Perhaps that's what they're waiting for- waiting for your avatar to return."
Davis nodded after a bit of consideration, causing Rokushi Mirai to contemplate before she nodded.
"Then I'll let my avatar know that it isn't ideal to return as soon as it enters range."
"Well, I heard even bandits are showing up on the outskirts a lot, so it shouldn't take much for that so-called Great Fiend to find us. As long as we can find and confirm who it is, we can warn them or strike them to death."
Davis answered nonchalantly.
Even if he couldn't deal with them, there was still the Frostcloud Sword Empress and Fairy Qiyra Darkstar here.
Even if that Great Fiend turned out to be a Peak Exalt, they were still courting death.
"So, is the mission still required to be retracted?"
Rokushi Mirai asked worriedly.
Davis went speechless. This woman was worrying about her contribution points disappearing into thin air before she could earn them. He suppressed the urge to laugh before he nodded.
"Alright, but tell Mingzhi or the relevant authority to increase contribution points and include Illumina, as the danger is clearly high."
"Understood."
Rokushi Mirai nodded, her lips barely curling as she hid a smile.

Davis felt a bit tired.
After the nightly affairs with Aila, Panqa, and Lanqua, he was still fine, but creating the Verdant Vitalis Avatar that lacked a chaos-destruction physique left him a bit exhausted. Although he had already restored his soul essence, his psyche was spent.
Psyche was similar to the stamina of the soul.
His psyche was huge, supported by his indomitable Will, but even then, the hard work leading up to the Level Three Empyrean Stage and creating the Verdant Vitalis Avatar left him tired.
He wanted to take a good rest.
However, looking at Evelynn's new look as he shot glances at her occasionally, he was getting strange ideas already.
Nonetheless, Davis remained in the banquet and put on his family man behavior, getting to enjoy his time with the beauties. Not many of them were in the flesh and soul since they were mostly avatars or soul bodies, but it was enough that they even took the time to appear, while waiting for him to appear and cultivating their hardest.
However, there were a few cases he was worried about.
It seemed like Nadia sneaked out with her children: Noctis, Styx, and Ragna, carrying them away to have to have an hunting experience- whatever that is for a wolf.
This was an issue.
After all, the children in Class Two were still not allowed to leave the sanctuary.
As for Mira, she descended into hibernation again after donating her bloodsoul essence to Hexena Xylusc and Isabella, deeply exhausted. She could only recover slowly since even Everlight's life energy appeared to prove difficult to restore her bloodsoul essence, grounded in chaos attribute.
Hexena Xylusc also seemed to be taking a long rest in her clan after she donated Evelynn her bloodsoul essence. She also faced the same problem; Everlight was unable to restore the bloodsoul essence of her new mutated bloodline.
Davis was speechless.
It seemed like the Davis Family didn't treat their magical beasts... good?
