Chapter 2462 Arriving At The Starting Point
In a vast expanse located inside the mountain ranges was a massive structure stretching to the skies. However, it had already collapsed and broken, many fragnts laying or flying over the vast expanse like they were so ancient ruins.

Compared to the big vortex, a tiny figure stepped out of it.
It was a woman. She wore a violet robe with intricate black rose patterns and a red veil on her face. Her black hair lightly shook as she stepped out of the vortex three steps before she couldn't help but narrow her black eyes.

Why was the area misty and obscure? Was it supposed to be like this? Just as she thought in doubt, she cast a look behind her to see if the vortex was still present but abruptly saw a purple-robed man blurred by the mist. Her eyes went wide in shock, not knowing where he had co from.
Had he followed her from her world? That was not possible.
But before she could even raise her arm halfway, a hand clasped her face and sealed her mouth.

She scread, her eyes revealing terror, but her screams were muffled before she suddenly felt her consciousness fade into the realm of darkness. She tried to stay awake, but it was of no use.

Suddenly, she disappeared from the location she stood, causing the purple-robed man to take his arm back and rub his palm on his shoulder.
'A tily help from a fellow ascender, but why did it have to be a woman…? Oh, well. You're only going to be trapped with for a while...'
Davis inwardly sighed as he took a step forward and walked out of the mist that he had created using an illusion.

"Although the monunts were broken because of powerful immortals, it could still provide so protection to you from Mid Stage Immortals and above as you're an ascender. Wait till the forces of our Starlight Jade Wolf King appears so that you could leave safely from this place!"

The expressions of the Mid Stage Immortals fell while the Early Stage Immortals glared at that white-winged wolf scout with enmity.
