Davis appeared before him and embraced her, patting her back as he consoled her. He looked around and saw that it was just her. For a mont, he wondered how despondent they felt when they lost him and couldn't help but feel heartened.
Evelynn gazed at him with red eyes, but she turned around and walked toward Everlight, causing everyone to turn to look at her.

Evelynn spoke as she knelt, bowing her head all the way as though going to kowtow.

However, Everlight ca out of her reverie and quickly stopped Evelynn from kowtowing. The other party was also pregnant with Davis's child, and although her stomach didn't even start swelling, she still had imnse respect for the first wife.
But following Evelynn, Isabella, and Shirley also flashed and appeared before Everlight as they knelt towards her, their emotions laid bare as they thanked her by clasping their hands.
Before, if having Everlight could be said to be beneficial for them, now they finally accepted her to be one of them. Not only did she not revive Davis while enduring his karmic burden, which practically sealed her fate, but she also didn't use her charm technique to control him.

In return, Everlight displayed all kinds of different emotions ranging from happiness to being overwheld as her eight tails shook sotis and went stiff at others as they asked her nurous questions, including if she wanted to sleep with their husband tonight for this achievent.
He rembered having told his won not to kneel to anyone other than their father and mother, but for so reason, he didn't feel taken aback by this move of theirs that lauded Everlight's behavior and placed her on a pedestal for her efforts.
This made him understand that he had already accepted Everlight as his family but when? Just a while ago or before that?
He was very curious about the changes that he underwent in his mind as, for so reason, the possibility of being chard still relayed around his mind.
