The Starlight Jade Wolf King suddenly interrupted as he took a cup of wine and drank, still not turning to look at them.
His question got the crowd thinking, but at the sa ti, the Bloodcloud Family's Patriarch remained smiling.
"Of course not. This is my gift to the Blazing Thunder Sect, so I'm rely having Mo Tian fulfill what he agreed with us. Isn't that right, Blazing Thunder Sect's Patriarch?"
"Indeed." Said the Blazing Thunder Sect's Patriarch, his tone as amused as the Bloodcloud Family's Patriarch.
His agreent caused many brows to furrow, wondering if this was allowed to be this open, but it seed like the powers no longer gave a damn anymore, wanting to see Mo Tian suffer under the onslaught of the King-Tier Cyan Soul Rat who's been steamrolling everyone.
"Mo Tian, if you don't go battle for the Blazing Thunder Sect, then you will have to give us back the Blood Essence Orb. And if you surrender again or take advantage of the rules to back out, then we'll consider the deal void and rightfully take back our Blood Essence Orb since you wouldn't have fulfilled even one part of the deal. You understand that this is how deals work when soone reneges to fulfill their part, right?"
Davis started at the Bloodcloud Family's Patriarch.
They were basically saying that even if he wanted to surrender or use martial prowess in this Soul Prowess battle segnt, the verbal contract was void. He must lose by getting injured into fainting or die to lose. There was no way around it for him to just co back and act as though nothing had happened.
Nonetheless, Davis couldn't help but chuckle, "I, Mo Tian, don't go back on my words. I will fight for the Bloodcloud Family by representing the Blazing Thunder Sect, although are you really sure that you want to use this single chance? You're making a mistake."
"Whether I'm making a mistake or not will show for itself. Now, will you please get on the stage, Mo Tian?"
The Bloodcloud Family's Patriarch remained smiling and even sounded overly polite, leaving no grounds for Mo Tian to complain about and back out.
"..."
Everyone could see Mo Tian appear to be put in a spot before he sighed and stood up.
"I really don't want to use my soul to attack people, but if that's what is necessary, then it can't be helped."
He shook his head as he floated, flying towards the battle stage.
When he arrived and landed on the surface, he heard a loud sneer echoing near him, except it was still far as there were at least five hundred ters of distance between them.
"Mo Tian, you were so scared before. Where did you get the courage to face ? Are you betting on the notion that I'm exhausted?"
Xerax sneered, appearing to want to provoke Mo Tian.

Xerax's smile receded, replaced with a cold stare, "You're really asking for it, huh?"

Many couldn't believe the audacity Mo Tian displayed in front of Xerax. Does that an that he was still confident that he could win? The people started to beco slightly eager.
Xerax was in his human form. The two of them stretched their bodies, seemingly relieving exhaustion and laziness, before a voice echoed out.
"Let the battle begin!~"
However, despite the declaration of the start of the battle, both didn't move from their locations.
In fact, Mo Tian did sothing that had people raise their brows in shock.
He sat! He sat where he stood, appearing to relax as he had his arms and legs stretched out, even putting a leg over the other!
"Are you asking for death?" Xerax's cyan eyes glead with a cold light.
"Yeah, I'll give you so free hits. Kill if you can."
Davis lazily replied, even taking an arm to his mouth and yawning.

His gestures made everyone's eyes twitch, including the Bloodcloud Family's Patriarch and the Blazing Thunder Sect's Patriarch.
Could it be that he only wanted to embarrass them and did not want the Blood Essence Orb at all?
Xerax's brows also twitched.
This kind of provocation truly incensed him, but at the sa ti, it only made him feel laughable as he had never seen a human this foolish.
"For a while, I considered you to be the biggest hurdle other than the Emperor of Death, who has said to have died, but it seems like I overestimated you."

The Starlight Jade Wolf King stood up, and even a few others raised their voices, looking shocked at Mo Tian's soul being penetrated by Xerax's soul attack that carried boundless might, capable of instantly killing even a Level Two Immortal King Stage Cultivator. Even they didn't have the confidence to defend against it in the sa realm, so what would happen when Mo Tian didn't even erect a barrier before his forehead?
The end result would be he would've died in a single shot.
However, to their shock, they saw him lower his raised head and rub his forehead with his fingers while displaying a sleepy expression.
"Shit... did soone throw a stone or sothing? Why did I not see it coming?"
Mo Tian rubbed his forehead, opening his mouth and yawning again, "Ah, I'm getting sleepy again. Maybe I wouldn't see the next stone thrown at too."

Xerax's eyes were wide in disbelief as he stared at Mo Tian with strong intent. His heart was seething with anger, but the incredulity of this situation also broke his common sense, causing him to clench his teeth.
"Are you using a protective soul treasure?"
"No way. If that was the case, its undulations would've been obvious by now!"
Soone from the crowd shouted, causing Xerax's expression to turn unsightly as he felt like he had asked a stupid question himself.

He threw the questions filling his mind out of the window and closed the distance between him and Mo Tian appearing before him. However, the other party still refused to make a move, causing him to squint his eyes.
"You're so powerful in martial cultivation that my soul doesn't even penetrate the first layer of defense, your pure physical defense? So what!? You... will not be able to match my soul prowess now and neither in the future."
He pointed at Mo Tian, appearing full of confidence. It caused the sleepy Mo Tian to slightly raise his head and widen one of his brows.
"What? Are you going to beco an Emperor-Tier Immortal Beast or a variant?"
