Davis and the others road around in the heart of the Grand Zyrus City.
If it weren't for the bright skies, one might have so doubt if they have landed in the underworld as the Zyrus Family's culture was quite unique in its own way, as though the line between the dead and the living were blurred as many could be seen walking around with skulls as an ornant.
To Davis and Drake, they appeared like necromancers, but to the other powers, they appeared like the wicked path's headquarters itself. However, they knew these common people rarely did anything different than a common person on the righteous path, so they didn't seem concerned.
But still, they also knew that the beneath the surface of this unique atmosphere was a darker side. After all, everyone has their own agendas, regardless of how one may live.
Nonetheless, they didn't think much about it and enjoyed the sights.
The streets were lined with stalls selling all manner of exotic goods, from rare herbs and spices to runic artifacts and pills. But there were also dubious alleyways where black market deals were made, and dangerous people lurked in the shadows.
It was a sight that most cities had, even righteous ones, but with people adorning evil-looking ornants everywhere, this aspect was reinforced and appeared to be stigmatizing.
"Senior Mo Tian, could you give so spirit stones? I promise I'll repay it back in a year or two."
Abruptly, Drake neared Davis, reaching out his hands like a beggar.
"You an immortal crystals?"
Davis sneered as though he was looking down on him while Drake appeared embarrassed.
"Yes, immortal crystals... I guess..."
Sneering lightly, Davis extended his hand and wound his arm over Drake's shoulder, appearing to mock him through soul transmission as Drake's expression went sullen.
However, the content they talked about was entirely different.
"Dude, what's wrong with you? If you could have said yes to the Blazing Thunderlight Sect's Founder, you would not have to be afraid of anything in this world. I've been hearing about this Candidacy thing, but since she doesn't want to participate in this thing, it would an that she would beco the sole supre force present in the First Haven World when other candidates disappear. I an, imagine her becoming an Immortal Emperor... just how powerful would she be..."
"Don't be so delusional. I know she is cunning and calculative and will basically make her house pet instead of a husband. Although that doesn't sound bad in its own way, that will essentially stop from growing and interacting with my significant others. In other words, getting a woman like her will basically lead to my downfall than being killed by soone else."
"Besides, I'm already not afraid of most things as I have the Aurora Cloud Gate beside ."
"Yeah, the Aurora Cloud Gate." Drake sounded interested, "They said that is what you are a part of now... what kind of sect is it?"
"The best I personally know of, so I'll ask one of my wives to give you a direct recomndation. The others will not doubt this move as you are indeed the Emperor of Death's friend anyway..."
"Alright, thanks, but is dual cultivation allo- "

Drake felt revved up as he sucked in a breath of cold air but smiled wryly at Davis as he opened his mouth.
"Seventy percent interest...? Senior Mo Tian, don't you think that is too much?"
Davis blinked, wondering if that's how it was.
"How is it too much when I don't know if you will even be alive past this month? I'm telling you that you can pay after a decade, after all."
Drake grumbled through soul transmission, "Dude, lower it to thirty percent. I'm serious about paying you back."
"The hell are you asking? I'll just give it to you for free."
Davis responded, but before they could converse further, the Starlight Jade Wolf King's stern voice echoed.
"Drake Blackburn. Co here."
Drake froze a bit upon being called, but he still went to the Starlight Jade Wolf King. However, when he returned, he was overjoyed as he got a hundred thousand Mid-Level Spirit Stones, not to ntion no interest or having no need to return it according to the Starlight Jade Wolf King's words.
Davis also saw this scene and couldn't help but smile.
The Starlight Jade Wolf King was good to his people, making them respect him more and more.
Nonetheless, the sun no longer graced its presence in the Grand Zyrus City as the moon showed up.
Suddenly, the night city atmosphere was bustling with a vibrant nightlife scene that catered to almost all tastes and desires.
There were opulent palaces where the wealthy and powerful indulged in decadent parties, underground fighting rings where the bravest warriors battle for glory and wealth, and secret brothels where forbidden pleasures could be found.
But for all its allure, this was still a place of danger and intrigue. One wrong move could lead to imprisonnt, torture, or worse. The city's guards were always watching, always vigilant, always looking for a wrongdoer to punish them to death.
Only the strongest, cleverest, and most ruthless can hope to survive and thrive in the Grand Zyrus City.
Nonetheless, Davis did go to the underground fighting rings to view their wild glamor, but he politely denied any invitation that led him to sexual establishnts.
However, many from the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan, including the Starlight Jade Wolf King, didn't seem to have any restraint as they saw the beautiful and exotic Zyrus Family won and threw themselves into these establishnts.
Standing before these establishnts, Davis could even hear the frantic and hushed moans of the ladies inside as though it was intentionally made to sound from sowhere to attract custors.
When he turned to look back, he saw that Panqa and Lanqua's cheeks were colored crimson.
"Ah, so hateful~"
"Why are our n so dirty?"
Many won from the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan started to complain as they left with a few elders who didn't seem fine with this type of establishnt. At the very least, they didn't want to enter with the won of their clan watching them.
But shortly, Davis found out that it wasn't only the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan that was here, as the other powers also visited one by one.
Fortunately, he made himself scarce before soone could approach him and act stupidly to him for being courted by the Blazing Thunderlight Sect's Founder. With the accompanint of an elder, he returned to his construct that was still present before the Zyrus Family's Palace.
Panqa and Lanqua also followed him. The other won also tried to follow him, but they were told to stay away by the elder. As for Drake, he didn't follow him but went to the sexual establishnt along with the Starlight Jade Wolf King.
Nonetheless, Davis thanked that elder for the protection he offered before entering the palace and spending so ti with Panqa and Lanqua, knowing more about them.
The cuteness of these twins was a special kind of adorableness that was hard to resist. Seeing two cute won who looked alike and shared an unbreakable bond was enough to lt anyone's heart, including his, that he had to maintain a stern fra.
Moreover, when they mirrored each other movents or finished each other's sentences, it was endearing to watch, making him find them absolutely adorable.
However, since they didn't bring up their third sister in their conversation anymore, he didn't ask either.
But within an hour, his palace's gates were knocked on, causing him to go check out who it was.
