Three days later, his eyes shot wide open as he heaved a long sigh filled with pleasure as he felt refreshed.

Davis gestured to the Nine-Phoenix Locking Relic's artifact spirit, causing her to wave her hand.
Patriarch Killian Zenfla disappeared from the chamber of cessation and appeared in the master chamber.
He raised his head with struggle, furiously looking at Davis as his entire body trembled powerlessly.
"Bastard, you'll pay… for this..."
Davis's lips curled as he saw this miserable beast that no longer resembled the majestic phoenix.
"If anything, you have so strong hate that keeps your will from collapsing, but let's see..."

Davis flicked his finger, abruptly slicing apart Patriarch Killian Zenfla's entire left wing. It spurted out blood in copious amounts as he cried out in pain, screeching like a bird that caused Davis's eyes to narrow.

He kicked Patriarch Killian Zenfla's head, sending him flying as he rolled around like a rag doll, and unlike the last ti, he didn't even try to regain balance, appearing like he had given up as he stayed unmoving.
"If that's how you wanna play… then we have all the ti in the world..."
Davis summoned a chair and sat down. He extended his out, and his jade-crimson heavenly wind blade rushed out, cutting a small part of the giant wing before his soul force grabbed it in an instant and brought it towards him.

The Nine-Phoenix Locking Relic was just about to complain that he was not holding his end of the promise but then beca stunned.

Quickly, Davis started to cook as a table was already in front of him while his hands moved to chop so vegetables and the at he had gathered. Within a few seconds, his soul force had already skinned it with sharp light energy before he cut the flesh into many cubes.
He cooked the at in a small cauldron, stir-frying the at along with the vibrant vegetables that released a fantastic fragrance. However, his actions weren't limited to creating a stir-fried recipe, soup, dumplings, and a hot pot but also creating the great and unforgettable fried chicken of the modern world.
All of this did not even take five minutes.
"Co, let's eat."
Davis sat on the chair before the table like a true connoisseur as he invited Patriarch Killian Zenfla to the table.
Patriarch Killian Zenfla had already turned back into a human with one of his hands missing and slowly healing as it used up the body's own vitality. Still, his expression churned with a complete fury that couldn't be suppressed as he raised his other hand and waved.
"Die!"
Scarlet flas surged from his body, but before they could even reach halfway, the flas ended up dying, turning into wisps that Davis raised a few dumplings with his chopsticks and soaked as though adding the flavor of nirvana, slowly taking them to his mouth and swallowing it.

Patriarch Killian Zenfla's gaze went red as he pointed at Davis, who seed to be enjoying this dining mont with him from the bottom of his heart. However, he wanted nothing more than to kill him right now, but no matter how he tried, he couldn't exert any strength as all of it was taken away from him, leaving him as dry as a river that had evaporated.

But although he was unable to attack and was dry as an evaporated river, that didn't an his body was able to control the impact of his anger as rage got to him, causing him to spit a whole mouthful of blood continuously three tis before he fell to his knees and turned into a giant phoenix again.
But this ti, there was no response from him, causing Davis to drink a bowl of Fiery Phoenix Wing Soup before heaving a satisfied sigh that erupted into scarlet flas.

Davis didn't stop as his teeth sunk into the crispy texture of a fried chicken, causing a burst of spicy taste to fill his mouth. It was completely soft to the point he praised himself for his aweso culinary skills, but glancing at the woman who was looking at him in utter incredulity, he couldn't help but ask.

The Nine-Phoenix Locking Relic shivered as she shook her head. She was enraged, but she didn't dare say anything as their promise wasn't broken. She only asked them to give a respectful death to Patriarch Killian Zenfla, but she didn't state that they couldn't cook him.

Davis was completely srized by this Immortal Emperor Grade Phoenix at, making him feel it was better than chicken a hundred tis. The very thought that this was the accursed flesh belonging to the hateful Patriarch Killian Zenfla didn't even flash in his mind, allowing him to only think of his goals- no, the fabulous and exquisite taste of the at.
His mouth practically watered for it that he quickly finished, cut another big chunk of it, and cooked it.
He montarily exited, giving food to Nadia and Lereza before re-entering again, only to see his utensils and cooked at destroyed.
"Oh my… looks like I have to start cooking from scratch once again…"
Davis grinned.

However, his grin was very evil to soone who turned around and ran.
"Nine-Phoenix Locking Relic, send into the chamber of cessation!"
He scread out loud, quickly appearing in the chamber of cessation. However, when he turned to look, he couldn't. Instead, he found that the entire right side of his body was missing, causing his body to quiver ever so lightly.
It didn't take him much to imagine the Emperor of Death seizing his right wing and thigh, plundering them from him as he had already started to cook again.
