A crimson-robed man received a slap to his face as he was sent flying. His figure rushed straight behind and crashed into a palace wall, causing a small dust storm to erupt. But shortly, that figure ca crawling on all fours before smashing his head onto the ground.
"This descendant is a failure. Please forgive this lowly one for failing to-"

A crimson-white-robed middle-aged man bellowed, although his expression seed indifferent. He glanced down, coldly gazing at Patriarch Killian Zenfla, who acted like he was broken while resting on an altar, but he knew better as the nirvanic rebirth almost heals all trauma incurred or gives relief, allowing them to be at least sane for a while before ntal trauma grew again.
However, he narrowed his eyes, not expecting Patriarch Killian Zenfla to have survived being captured by the Emperor of Death as Lars Zenfla still hadn't woken up, although the other two Ancestors who saved Patriarch Killian Zenfla argued that they were forced to kill him to save him, so he didn't have much doubt over that.
"Grandson… you are a disgrace to my bloodline. If your father ca to know about it, he would personally behead you. If your mother ca to know about it, she would castrate you."
Patriarch Killian Zenfla shook, "Grandfa- Ancestor… I know my wrongs and would like a second chance. I didn't expect the Emperor of Death to be so powerful enough to survive our onslaught. Besides, the Nine-Phoenix Locking Relic betrayed us..."

Ancestor Reselius glared, causing Patriarch Killian Zenfla to lower his head further as he trembled.
"Supre Ancestor, the Emperor of Death has captured four of our Grand Elders and is demanding surrender."
"Surrender? A little fly that has yet to grow into an Immortal Emperor wants the Fire Phoenix Clan to surrender?"
An inherent flow of rage shaped the voice as it ca out of Ancestor Reselius that the others couldn't help but feel their throats burn, organs sear, and their flesh cooked just by being near his presence.
The other Ancestors had their heads lowered while Patriarch Killian Zenfla miserably endured. For better or worse, having been trained- no, tornted by the Emperor of Death actually helped him endure better.
The searing scarlet heat disappeared only a few seconds later, causing them to heave a heavy sigh of relief as they breathed again.
A few minutes later, they left Ancestor Reselius's Palace.
The other Ancestors could see Patriarch Killian Zenfla walking out with a murderous glint in his eyes.

A vertical barrier was erected in the mountains near the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan's main palace. It was so robust and firm that even Mid-Level Immortal Emperor Grade attacks wouldn't be able to break it.
But at this mont, the dark, thunderous clouds above, rumbling like the drums of war, shook and started to recede.
Underneath the heavens was an eight-hundred-ter-long jade-white winged wolf whose kingly aura erupted, covering the entire Starlight Jade Wolf Clan's city. The people of this city felt their bloodline shiver, causing them to turn to look toward the direction of those mountains as they possessed pious expressions on their faces.
Many even cried, especially those who were aware of what was going on.

Chants erupted all over the city, causing Davis to smirk as he looked at the Starlight Jade Wolf King successfully break into the Immortal Emperor Beast Stage.
The jade-white winged wolf's figure glowed with a bright jade light before it rapidly condensed and turned into a human. His wild features turned visible, displaying his strong chin with a defined jawline, jade-green eyes, and a sharp nose.
His green hair flailed in the wind before he abruptly disappeared.

A burst of jade light exploded right on Davis as he retreated a bit, his hands stretched out as he seed to have blocked a punch.
"This is… too great!"
The Starlight Jade Wolf King clenched his fist. Having beco an Immortal Emperor Beast Stage King-Tier Starlight Jade Wolf, his confidence knew no bounds. However, turning to look at Davis, who blocked his punch while being an Immortal King, he knew better not to overestimate himself.
"Heh! It's good that you like it. Otherwise, I'll feel like I owe you more."

The Starlight Jade Wolf King burst into a fit of boisterous laugh, causing Davis to wryly chuckle as he knew that his bloodline had overtaken his brain now.
In fact, Mira had the sa reaction of feeling invincible when she turned into an Emperor-Tier Earth-Dragon.

After all, they both know that if he tried marrying during war tis, then he was obviously going to get attacked.
Although it would be dramatic and hilarious for him to kill their invading Grand Elders one by one, it just wouldn't be worth it as he wanted to give Nadia a peaceful wedding, one that deserved all the things she did for him without expecting much from him other than a few pats and affection.
