He thought of a few matters concerning senior sister Zora Luan, not to ntion his friend Drake Blackburn who recently enrolled himself in the Aurora Cloud Gate. He also thought about Nightveil, or in other words, Iris Serenity, as he gave her a task to complete. He knew that they were fine but also wondered what they were up to now, not that he had the ti to go check on them.
'I'd go if they were actually facing trouble, but Zora Luan is probably just scolded in her ho, and Drake is flirting around like the playboy he is...'
He chuckled to himself, wondering how many won Drake had seduced by now.
Suddenly, Nadia appeared over his shoulder in her tiny wolf form and made herself comfortable, causing Davis to smile lightly as he caressed her back.
"If the spots don't count for contracted beasts and spirits, take Eldia and Lereza along with you and return to Evelynn. You must protect our household at all costs, understand?"

Nadia gave a sound of agreent before she turned and licked his face, rubbing her cuteness all over him.
Before long, Bylai and Tina also arrived, causing them to leave.
They didn't wait for Lea, Sophie, and Dalila because the latter two would have to undergo so tests to be selected for the secret realm before they would be transported in the Aurora Cloud Gate's battleship itself.

Davis and the others eventually reached the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan, whereupon they t with the Starlight Jade Wolf King.

Patriarch Fenren Jadelight seed to be in a good mood as he invited Davis over and boarded the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan's battleship together.

Tina politely responded, causing the Starlight Jade Wolf King to smile.

Patriarch Fenren Jadelight turned to look at Davis, causing him to be embarrassed, but he stretched out his hand and wrapped his arm around Tina's waist.

Tina's cheeks grew hotter by the second as she couldn't believe she was being held intimately like this in front of another man. If it hadn't been for her job as a receptionist, where she had to deal with a lot of people, including shady ones who would try to hit on her, she felt like she might've fainted from the embarrassnt.
However, feeling a gentle kiss fall on her forehead, she couldn't help but beco comfortable.

She relaxed in Davis's embrace, feeling such security that her heart ached with happiness.
Isn't this what she was waiting for? A chance to be with him amidst all the responsibilities they all had?
Bylai giggled by their side. She didn't get one bit jealous as she knew how Tina worked hard that more than half of their cultivation speed could be said that it was a result of her hard work, although she shared a quarter of that effort with Dalila.
Regardless, her gratitude knew no bounds as having an alchemist or not could be the difference between heaven and earth in the cultivation world for growth.

However, Bylai and Tina were shaken to see their man command such fear in the crowd. They blinked, recalling how he played with his children and chased them around like a silk pants young master, but here, just his very appearance struck fear in the hearts of the others.
Sohow, they couldn't help but feel their heart stir with pride.

The Starlight Jade Wolf King nodded over their reaction as though he was also prideful before floating towards the destination with gait. The others also followed him until they were walking over the tall and wide stairs that led to the palace that seed to have been newly built for this occasion.

Suddenly, a tired voice echoed out.
"I'm tired of waiting for you, Emperor of Death. If you want to die peacefully, hand over the death-attributed magical beast mount you have. Otherwise…"
An insidious cackle resounded around the area as Davis raised his head, his eyes making contact with a violet-robed person standing on top of the last step with a deranged smile.
