Her feet that were clad in crimson-silver lightning abruptly soared with crimson-gold flas, instantly fusing to turn into black-crimson energy wave. It was like a wave of calm energy had turned infuriated, cackling with a thunderous and explosive noise that made Shirley's soul-heart skip a beat.
The ground beneath them scorched and a crack finally ford in their intense battle, allowing Zenova Artoria to retaliate. Shirley's icefire spear clashed with Zenova Artoria's firestorm, each collision send shockwaves throughout the soulscape.
The two beauties participated in a not-so graceful dance, their movents practically aid to kill within their blur of fire and lightning. It was unknown who had the upper hand but Evelynn watched their battle with focus.
Although she would not win against Shirley in a battle of spears, this was a battle of speed since two Supre Laws were clashing. She readied her hex slowly, awaiting the right ti to use it.
As Zenova Artoria said, karmic attacks were effective on souls, but the fact that her hex attack didn't do much damage to Zenova Artoria only spoke volus about her soul defense. However, Evelynn wasn't done yet.
She had yet to use a Divine Technique ever since the Candidacy began.
However, she was tense and anxious that this move would end Zenova Artoria and cause her to lose fifty percent of her soul essence. In response, Shirley thrust her icefire spear forward, eting the firestorm boldly head-on.
The impact was cataclysmic as the icefire spear exploded and the firestorm bolt's explosion froze in its tracks, turning into a giant crystalline structure that fell to the ground. As a result, Shirley was thrown back and so was Zenova Artoria.

However, Zenova Artoria widened her eyes. Her soul trembled at the danger she sensed pouncing from behind her, causing her to explode with a firestorm wave. The black-crimson shockwaves were truly tumultuous enough to fry any foes whose prowess was less than eleven levels higher.
However, a spherical silhouette still pounced within that tumultuous shockwave like a predator and abruptly expanded, revealing six sharp scythes expanding and whipping down at her to cleave her apart.
Evelynn's eyes were blazing with killing intent. She lunged at Zenova Artoria in a swift, fluid movent from behind like an ambushing spider and struck down with her six scythes with deadly precision, each aiming for the limb and two for the head.
Zenova Artoria barely had ti to react. She was unable to believe that Evelynn had intruded into her firestorm shockwave without suffering much from it. Nonetheless, she didn't give up and ford a barrier of crimson-silver lightning to block the incoming attack, but the force of Evelynn's strikes shattered her defense.

The sharp scythes targeting her head barely missed her, grazing her cheeks and cutting apart an ear. As for the other four attacks that targeted her limbs, she used the montum from the barrier shattering to retreat, gaining enough distance.
However, Evelynn was relentless.
She lunged forwards like a jumping spider, quickly appearing before her and slashed at her, the six scythes doing its deadly dance as though it was a dance of deathly ballet.
Zenova Artoria tried to black all those attacks, her annihilative lightning and annihilative flas moving in tandem to create the perfect defense and hiding spots as the flas blocked Evelynn's view while also threatening to burn her scythes.
The scythes weren't that sharp since they were manifestations of the soul. However, the damage these scythes dealt couldn't be any more real and fatal, causing Zenova Artoria to get slashed repeatedly and bleed soul force heavily.
If she didn't deal with it soon, then she would die in this match sooner or later.
But before she could gain more distance, Shirley also joined.
Her icefire spear struck, cleaving through her annihilative heavenly flas. She didn't even have the ti to fuse them into firestorm energy, making Zenova Artoria clench her teeth in annoyance. If it was her fleshly body packed with her unique physique, then she wouldn't even need to fuse. However, her soul was different.
It was the weakest of her three cultivation systems and lacked her physique's capability.

Zenova Artoria's scalp turned numb as she saw Shirley's icefire spear coming for her head, but with a flick of her hand, she connected Shirley's soul with hers using Karma Laws with a bit of insight from curses.
Shirley recognized this karmic attack as her soul beca sensitive to it, but she had already co to a stop, the tip of the flaming yet frosty spear hovering over Zenova Artoria's forehead.

Shirley giggled, but she didn't take back her icefire spear, waiting for Zenova Artoria to admit defeat.
