"Yes, she's resting…" Davis nodded. He explained what happened after Lea left.

It had been two days since they returned from the Voidshade Chasm, and there had been no sign of the Celestial Transcendent yet. Vereina also hadn't woken up.

Davis occasionally checked her and saw that it wasn't anything bad. Her soul was just getting used to her improved soul physique after getting ruptured, so it beca a form of tempering process. She was just resting and recuperating from the exhaustion of getting possessed, which might've left a ntal scar.

On the other hand, Tia and Hailac were also sleeping. They woke up, but they still felt lethargic, so after he treated them to so refreshnts, he insisted that they sleep again.

He kissed Tia goodnight and praised Hailac. The both of them were more than willing to listen to him.

He naturally couldn't keep quiet about what happened between him and Vereina after he saved her, so he told Lea everything. As a husband to many wives, it was his responsibility to inform his relations with other won. Otherwise, it would be seen as cheating.

Because polygamy was the norm, the dynamics of what would be considered cheating were different.

"I'm sure you would. You took Sophie because of a kiss that was full of longing. Did you forget?"

"…" Davis lowered his head.
