Davis watched the eleven Immortal Emperor Beasts stepping out and appearing before him. They were all at Level Nine Immortal Emperor Beast Stage. It was a pity that their bloodline limit didn't allow them to break through. Otherwise, they would've already reached the Empyrean Beast Stage.
However, their aura was quite unstable, which led him to believe they had wasted quite a bit of blood essence in the past two years. Myria's diagnosis was also the sa.
Davis panned his gaze from left to right, looking at the Space Gnawing Rat, Thunderhoof Ox, Four-Winged Emberstripe Tiger, Four-Eyed Dark Dragon, Three-Headed Hydra, Phantom Gaze Cobra, Azuretail Shadow Wolf, Illusory Sunshade Fox, Obsidian Lightning Kirin, Pelagic Serenity Turtle and a Wind Phoenix.
They were all in human form. The n stood to the left, and the won stood to the right. However, there was a certain distance between all of them, so close and so far. From this, Davis could see certain groups having already ford within.
The Space Gnawing Rat, Thunderhoof Ox, and the Four-Winged Emberstripe Tiger appeared to be in a group.
The Four-Eyed Dark Dragon and the Three-Headed Hydra are in another group. The Phantom Gaze Cobra, Azuretail Shadow Wolf, and Illusory Sunshade Fox were in the third group, and as for the fourth group, it couldn't be any more obvious as they were the only won in the group.
They were none other than the Pelagic Serenity Turtle, Wind Phoenix, and the Obsidian Lightning Kirin.
Their lineup certainly didn't align with the palaces they ca out from. That was the biggest giveaway that they had ford groups.
Regardless, Davis didn't care what groups they ford. He could tell that most of them were incredibly nervous, as though waiting for the mandate from the emperor, which would decide their fate.
Had he really changed that much? Sotis, Davis couldn't tell how much he had accomplished for people to fear him to this level. After all, they act wild without him being near, insulting him, and arranging hunting groups, but the mont he is near them, they clamor with trepidation and flee for their lives.
It was the case for almost everyone except Heaven's Warriors.
'Wait a minute…'
Davis recalled he knew their nas but didn't hear it from their own mouths.
"Introduce yourselves- starting from you."
Davis looked at the Space Gnawing Rat. It was a terrifying rat, the true direct-line descendant of the Paragon Magical Beast Rat, unlike the other rats like the Goldlust Rat and the Cyan Soul Rat. After all, the rat represented space in the Paragon Magical Beast line.
The Space Gnawing Rat was a silver-haired man clad in a black robe. He looked lean and quite feminine, as though he had co out of a painting, but his features were sharp.
His lips moved, "My na is Reian Stargazer. I co from a Minor Realm in the Second Layer, which belongs to the Stargazer Clan. As for what I did to beco a prisoner, well, I killed so traitors, but the traitors were plenty and too powerful, so I failed and got jailed."
Davis nodded, "You don't need to tell your history if you don't want to. Since you are guests whom I freed back then and you have behaved yourselves from killing innocents anymore, I don't care about your past. I only care about your contributions from this mont moving forward. Do so good to redeem yourselves even if you leave this place after resting here. That's all I can say."
The magical beasts nodded their heads. They were inwardly taken aback a calamity figure would tell them to do good but they already knew he was different, so they weren't really bothered.
"Wougen." The Thunderhoof Sky Ox uttered.
His voice was like thunder, deep and firm. His body also seed to be on the bulkier end. He wore a purple robe and appeared quite intimidating with his stern face. His hair was black-purple in color, and all the strands flowed long enough to reach the back of his knees.
"Shentu." The Four-Winged Emberstripe Tiger's voice echoed softly.
He seed like a calm individual with a soft disposition at a glance. However, his hair flowed red, which made him look quite fiery.
"King."
"Are you fooling around?" Davis raised his brows, but he smiled.
"No, that's really my na." The Four-Eyed Dark Dragon shrugged helplessly.
"From now on, your na will be Foureyes."
"You-" King appeared to clench his fist and was ready to throw himself, but he shuddered and controlled himself.
"Everyone knows you are the most arrogant in this group and the most troubleso troublemaker. Would you rather have a change in your na or get a beating for misbehaving?"
"Get a beating," King growled.
"Alright, one beating coming up later. For now, heal first." Davis chuckled. He looked to the next person.
"Gralex." The Three-Headed Hydra uttered, his voice deep and resonating.
He was clad in a dark red robe, and his purple hair fell to his waist. He had a perfect bearing and calmness except for the slanted eyes that appeared quite evil.
"Boss, my na is Azbel. I nad myself." The Phantom Gaze Cobra chuckled.
"Shax." The Azuretail Shadow Wolf's voice was mild, "I hope to be taken in, boss."
He was clad in a dark blue robe with azure-blue hair falling down to a level bit lower than his neck. He looked handso and had a smiling expression as he rubbed his head, appearing rather harmless.
"Pazudu." The Illusory Sunshade Fox said in a serene voice.
Clad in a crimson robe, his red-white hair seed quite conspicuous. He also seed to possess the sa attribute as Shentu: fire. However, they were all more or less darkness beasts. Therefore, he possessed three attributes, naly fire, darkness, and illusion.
"Yufella." Said the Pelagic Serenity Turtle
She was a woman clad in a dark blue robe and had a serene air about her while her sapphire eyes looked as dark as the ocean's depth.
Davis knew that although she acted serenely, she was smart and had a crass mouth on her. She was solely responsible for keeping Lest Mistwalker in check because of the blackmail. That wasn't sothing a magical beast would usually do, so Davis once again made space to get to know the wide world of magical beasts.
Nonetheless, her proportions were great to look at, especially her big bosoms that threatened to spill out of her robes.
"Skylia. I am a Wind Phoenix who rules the skies."
Dressed in a cloud-patterned white robe, a dark-green-haired woman said in a proud voice, although it sounded quite childish. Her erald eyes shone as she seed pretty pleased to introduce herself.
Davis scanned her, wondering if she would do any good to him as Illumina sent a soul transmission saying she was stupid. It seed that Illumina had quite the rivalry with her. However, Illumina also praised her for being tenacious, so he didn't think ill of her.
He turned his head slightly, and his gaze fell on a fair brown-skinned woman whose beauty was striking. She was clad in a black robe, and her eyes were glowing purple. It was quite strange as he didn't recall an Obsidian Lightning Kirin's eyes being purple. It was red.
Nevertheless, she held a reserved air about her and did not match gazes with anyone, carrying herself with imnse grace. When she noticed his gaze, she cast a look back at him and cupped her hands.
"My na is Rakshira. Pleased to make your acquaintance. I desire your heavenly lightning energy."
Davis couldn't help but smile while the others looked at her as though she was dead.
His lips moved, "It is good to have a desire. But before we talk about wants and needs, let's do so checks. Don't resist."
Davis raised his hand, and his aura erupted imposingly.
"…!"
The pressure made the eleven magical beasts shudder where they were standing as they felt sothing invading their souls. They tried not to resist, but so were unable to and grabbed their heads.
"Aah!"
The Wind Phoenix, Skylia, fell down and rolled. The Thunderhoof Sky Ox, Wougen, grimaced. He roared and shot a fist at Davis, appearing as though he was going to punch him to oblivion.
However, just three inches away from punching the Divine Emperor of Death, he barely stopped himself.
"Relax."
Quickly, they found he wasn't doing anything other than scanning their souls as though trying to find secrets.
A few seconds later, he sighed with relief and took back his soul sense.
There was no sign of Accursed Warlock or Vile Enchanter.
Once they all stood up and glared at him with confused or complicated emotions, Davis explained his actions. It was unknown whether they had taken offense or not, but Davis didn't care and continued.
"So, have you all thought about joining and becoming enemies of the Celestial Transcendent Galaxy or simply leaving after resting?"
