Davis nodded, causing Vereina to relax her gaze. It wasn't so other official woman. With this, she knew she wasn't so low on the priority list for him, at the very least.
She gleefully smiled, still having her arms wrapped around his neck.
"Then… I'll wait for you."
"When did we have a relationship?" Davis raised his brows.
"Shut up~ You're mine."
Vereina pecked his cheek with lightning speed and, threw herself to the side and flew away, "I told you I would prove myself worthy to you and would pursue you. Expect my next visit to be much more relentless~"
Her gleeful voice echoed before she disappeared from his view. She was extrely fast. She was an Empyrean, after all. Moreover, she was already at the Level Two Empyrean Stage. Her cultivation was insanely fast. All she needed was soul essences and her physique to get to a higher grade in order to support the rapid rate of improvent, and she got it right now.
If she had wanted, she could even force a kiss or even push him and have her way with him.
If he fought back, that would be dangerous as he would need to use the black-white stone.
Davis rubbed the crimson hickey from his cheek. It seed Vereina was really serious about him, making him unable to ignore her feelings.

From seeing Mira, he knew that was how most female magical beasts thought.
And they were really amazing in his perspective, their auras dazzling. It would be a lie if he said he didn't envision sleeping with them.

He returned to the mansion and talked to Mingzhi and Nightveil about his encounter with Dark Archbishop Cyprusio. His avatar was comprehending battle techniques, so it couldn't be brought out at the mont.
After informing them, he checked up on Evelynn and Nadia.
For the past six days, when he was here, he had been playing a lot with Azariel and Viridia. At the sa ti, he also took care of Styx, Noctis, and Ragna. These children were together most of the ti.
After all, Nadia had so difficulty being a mother to fey children, so she moved in with Evelynn, who taught her the ropes.
After spending so ti with them, he left and headed towards the alchemy chamber.
He waited for them to open the door, but no one ca even after ten minutes.
Usually, he would've left knowing that Tina and Dalila were working hard. However, he could no longer take it and pushed it open, breaking the door.

Tina and Dalila were startled, their heads snapping toward the broken door. They saw Davis, their expressions turning embarrassed as they blushed.
Davis was also startled.
He looked at them.
One was dressed in a pristine white robe that now bore smudges of black soot, while the other wore a purple robe, equally marred by the black soot. Their appearances were dubious at best—faces sared with streaks of soot, hair frazzled as though a small explosion had gone off, and faint trails of smoke rising from the table behind them.
Both stared wide-eyed, caught in the midst of their ssy experintation.
"Hoho…"
Davis laughed amusedly as he entered and force locked the door behind him with soul force. He looked around and saw the ss these pill fairies created inside.
"Just how many experints did you two fail?"
"…"
Tina and Dalila looked at each other. Dalila returned her gaze and raised her hand, showing five fingers.
"Five? That can't be right. Is it fifty?"
Davis raised his brows as he looked at them, causing the two pill fairies to nod embarrassedly.
"What kind of pill are you creating here?"
Tina and Dalila shook their heads, indicating that they wouldn't tell him. They remained silent as though they were using so kind of marital right.
Davis looked around. Considering the ingredients involved, he didn't think it was the chaos-destruction pill or any other pill he knew about. However, based on the makeup of the attributes of the ingredients, he could tell it should be a fla-attributed pill.
Since fla-attributed pills were mostly berserk, he could understand why they would fail so many tis, and considering Tina and Dalila's abilities, he guessed they must be making a truly remarkable pill. It should be at Mid-Level Empyrean Grade at the very least.
Nonetheless, he didn't care what they were making as long as they were safe.
"Alright, Tina, co with . I have sothing to talk to you about."
Davis turned around to leave, beckoning her to follow.
"Wait. Can it be later?" Tina appeared hesitant, "I'm really busy now, almost on the precipice of completing the recipe."
"I see." Davis lowered his head, "Then I guess it can't be helped…"
"I…" Tina wanted to explain, but she bit her lips and stopped herself.
What she was making was a mysterious pill. If she said it, it might not co true. Even she and Dalila were working on this without communicating the slightest bit. That was why they had made so many mistakes. That was why they were cooped up so long, not accepting any visitors.
She could only watch Davis leave, feeling guilty.
'It's fine… I will go see him later and apologize… even kneel if I have to…' Tina thought as she closed her eyes. She couldn't bear to see him leave.
"Husband~"
Suddenly, Dalila called out.
It made Davis stop as he turned to look back.
"Tina was waiting for you before we started this pill concoction session…" Dalila pursed her lips.
"You…"
Tina looked at Dalila, wondering if this was fine, but Dalila rely smiled. She returned his gaze to Davis.
"You should take her-"
Before she could finish, Davis's figure disappeared.
Dalila turned her head and saw Davis standing in front of Tina. He caught her willowy waist and pulled her closer, leaning to take her velvety lips.
"Mhn~"
Tina's eyes shot wide. It took her a mont to realize she was kissed. At the sa ti, a tongue pried her mouth open, sneaking its way into her and making her a ss.
"No, I'm so dirty…" Tina sent a soul transmission, but Davis looked hungry.
"Just the right flavor to the feast I badly wanted."
His passionate voice echoed inside Tina's soul sea, making her defenses collapse.
