Chapter 4415: Offering A Bounty
After comforting his mother and daughter and telling everyone to relax, he returned to his seat on the altar.
“Are you fine?”
Lea smiled, “After hearing you comfort everyone, even the guests will think you are soft.”
Davis silently laughed and sat beside her, “I prefer that they would think that I’m a good father, husband, family man, and stop hunting all together.”
“Wishful thinking~” Lea held his hand.
“Haha, you’re right.”
“But… they did see you be a good man to everyone in your family. I guess that may have impacted their thoughts even if it is the slightest bit.”
“I wonder.”
Davis shrugged. He didn’t care. Most people without a backbone tended to backstab because they were just going with the flow.
He turned to look at the crowd, opening his mouth.
“Everyone, there was so unwanted intrusion by Accursed Warlock and a few more wretched individuals who want to kill for various reasons, none of which is justice or vanquishing evil like yours. I suppose they also terrorized your ancestors when you weren’t even born. I hope the Upper Realms can unite to find and kill them or even capture and torture them until I arrive to deal a killing blow.”
He raised his brows, his cold glare becoming filled with a trendous killing intent, causing the palace’s temperature to fall abruptly, causing shivers.
“Whoever does so will have my gratitude. I will freely reward resources for the next stage after the Empyrean Stage. I have received news that my Isabella, who is currently adventuring in the secret realm, already obtained one.”
“…!”
Nurous hearts leaped at that bounty.
It even overca the shivers they felt, giving them goosebumps.
A treasure at the next stage? Naturally, most Realm Masters and Grand Elders knew what that entailed.
“Treasures at my grade?” Grand Elder Terronoir Heavenshade looked amused, “Even I would be highly interested. My Azure Dragon Upper Realm will naturally hunt those vile beings, but with a reward for them, anyone will get motivated to go to the next mountain. What about you, Supre Everlasting Empyrean?”
The Abandoned Immortal Realm Master looked disinterested, “I have no need for it. But I suppose so of my juniors would beg for it. I’ll send word for them to deal with those villains.”
“Pfft~ Hahaha!”
The two of them then burst out laughing like it was the most natural thing to do, making Davis blink.
He didn’t understand if his offer was too low or too high.
Then suddenly, he noticed that these two could be old friends.
Nonetheless, Davis didn’t care if they accepted his offer or not. His offer was out there, and anyone was free to take it. He knew those villains wouldn’t easily die. However, if they could be harassed and chased to the ends of the realms, then he would be extrely happy.
He made it clear that he would give out at least three treasures at that grade upon their confird death, making even the Lower Realms and Minor Realms feel extre motivation, even though they couldn’t possibly hope to kill those villains.
“I don’t get it. Why don’t they just go to the Greater Realm?” Eterna was curious. She asked Myria, who sat by her side and was there to comfort her.
“Resources at that grade can’t simply be obtained even in the Greater Realm” Myria shook her head lightly, “They take an extre number of years to form, and most resources have already been used to make humanity thrive. Most of the resource hotbeds have been taken over by nurous powers to grow a massive amount of forces to war with other galaxies, so even if a talented cultivator from the Upper Realm ascends to the Greater Realm, they will simply find themselves unable to obtain any resources at that grade and might get killed before they could make it. Their only option would be to enter danger zones or earn achievents in the battlefield. It is incredibly dangerous.”
“Oh~” Eterna nodded, understanding bits and pieces.
“Davis is really pissed to hand over what even we would crave.” Mingzhi cast a gaze at Ellia.
“Mhm. Even I want to butcher them. They really went too far, targeting Eterna and mother-in-law.” Ellia didn’t have a smile on her face like she always would.
It was unknown what she was thinking.
In the seating area, Tia had her head lowered.
How could she have not sensed the danger? Could it be that no one was going to be injured, no matter how this event happened? She was sad and confused, but no one ca to bla her, even though she was the Karmic Guardian Empress of this family.
Or did they perhaps not talk to her since they didn’t want to reveal she was their Karmic Guardian Empress? She was confused.

There were a few more trivial ceremonies held.
Finally, Ellia announced that the vows would take place.
Davis and Lea stepped forward towards the edge of the platform on the altar, looking at each other. Abruptly, a little head with flowing crimson hair popped up in between them, peeking out with a naughty expression.
“Pa~ Ma~”
He wound their hands together as he chuckled. His sapphire eyes were full of joy.
“Felix, my son~” Lea’s heart burst with joy.
She bent down to kiss him, causing him to laugh cheerfully.
“…” Calypsea pouted from the secret location where it was being broadcast. She was with Tina, ready to use the Realm Core whenever required.
Still, wasn’t she supposed to be there?
Having been told not to make a move unless told otherwise, even if there was a huge battle broke out, she was at her wit’s end. She harrumphed cutely and disappeared, reappearing before them.
“My place~”
She ca in between them, pushing Felix lightly.
It made Davis and Lea surprised before they also welcod her.
Felix chuckled and hugged Calypsea, “You’re also welco, elder sister Calypsea.”
“Is-is that so?”
Now Calypsea felt all embarrassed for making a fuss over it. She pouted with a blush on her face.
Davis used his other hand to caress Calypsea’s head. She was growing more and more human in her emotions after living with them for so long. He was glad.
The crowd turned speechless, their horror alleviating a bit. After all, they had sensed Calypsea suddenly storming in. She was so fast. They also felt strange to see an Anarchic Divergent having an happy family. Moreover, they already had a child, which would actually be a scandal, but it seed normal there.
Venerable Knight Lussandra’s eyes turned a bit complicated, but there was soone who was even more sympathetic beside her in the sa seating area, Fairy Runalise.
Nonetheless, with the four of them, Davis and Lea raised their free hands, summoning the vow of the ancient phoenix newlyweds to be recited.
