Chapter 4564: Scam Sect?
Fairy Thunderblaze took a breath. She knew this couldn’t be easy, causing her lips to curl in amusent.
“Careful~”
She imitated his voice while gazing at him with a strange gaze, “Were you worried about ?”
“…”
Davis’s brows twitched.
*Pow~*
He slapped Karyon Stormsong’s face, causing him to raise his voice in terror. He thought that slap would’ve ended him, but it rely sunk his cheek and broke a few of his teeth.
“…” Fairy Thunderblaze felt like that slap was for her before Davis opened his mouth.
“It would be a pity to see a beauty turn into a at paste, so I tried to warn you.”
Davis looked at the grand mountain below. Its density was equal to a Peak-Level Empyrean Grade material. He had managed to drill into it because of his strong body, but Fairy Thunderblaze would’ve exploded into at paste if she smashed into it.
“I see.” Fairy Thunderblaze comnted with a vague smile on her face.
Davis turned to look at her, “I didn’t expect your Thunderfire Laws to be so comprehensive that it even manages to disperse all the force during a full-speed flight. I can’t do that with my Obliteration Laws.”
“Indeed. After I obtain a movent technique, I presu our speed would be the sa if we have similar prowess, but I have you beat in maneuverability. Even zig-zag motions during a chase aren’t troubling for , never losing much speed.” Her voice was proud.
Davis couldn’t help but nod, “While I would win in a straight line race, you will win when there are curves and other blocks. But still, I think the speed of my Obliteration Laws is higher.”
“I haven’t even begun approaching the true strength of Thunderfire Laws because I’m barely done creating a cultivation manual for it. Don’t speak too soon.”
Fairy Thunderblaze waved her hand coolly. Although she knew she couldn’t defeat him in a battle, she still wanted to believe that she could at least defeat him in terms of speed.
“Want to exchange cultivation manuals when you’re done?” Davis asked with an amused smile.
Fairy Thunderblaze raised her brows at him, “You would do that for ?”
“As long as you promise not to leak mine and hand over a fake copy of yours, sure. I’m interested in how the circulation of thunderfire energy works, too.”
“Who do you think I am?”
“A scamr who built a scam sect with a fake cultivation manual.”
“You-” Fairy Thunderblaze went speechless.
She didn’t know that was what he thought about her. She folded her hands, turning to look at the distance where she felt sothing strange was happening.
“I won’t deny rigging the Firestorm World Ode to implant karma so that I could make my sect’s disciples owe like they owe wealth so that I could control them when necessary, but I did improve the cultivation manual even back then. All inner disciples and core disciples receive my modified Firestorm World Ode, allowing them to cultivate better. It is significantly better than the original Firestorm World Ode.”
Davis was also looking into the distance, wondering where that Elegant Thunderous Stormsong Wisp had disappeared to.
“There was a sect in the true immortal world- our galaxy as well?”
“Yes, but no. They ca from another galaxy. I didn’t think one of my disciples would head to a Greater Realm and even beco a Divine Exalt.”
“…!?”
Davis turned to look at Fairy Thunderblaze after she unleashed a bombshell of news.
“Really?”
Fairy Thunderblaze shrugged, “I didn’t believe it either, but you saw those girls. They’re from another galaxy, but since they’re with , they could pose as though they’re from our Celestial Transcendent Galaxy.”
“So that Divine Exalt now owes you?”
“I’m not sure. My plans haven’t accounted for that far. Perhaps they could even reverse it and control instead. Would you save ?” She raised her brows at Davis, asking with a curious tone.
“You could use the huge favor, and I would.” Davis nodded.
“…” Fairy Thunderblaze blinked. She did expect him would say that, but she didn’t expect his guts to be so big enough to face a Divine Exalt at this level.
Exactly what kind of trump card did he have? She was highly curious.
“Who’s that disciple of yours?” Davis asked with interest.
“I don’t know his na. He started a new sect called the Golden Throne Lightning Sect in another galaxy, so he’s called the Golden Throne Master, apparently. He left the Blazing Thunderlight Sect established in the Abandoned Immortal Lower Realm long ago and went to adventure, eting with grand characters and ascending layer after layer before he left after galaxy for unknown reasons. I learned after he left, the growing Blazing Thunderlight Sect in the Abandoned Immortal Lower Realm eventually fell into ruins.” Fairy Thunderblaze sighed lightly, but there was a tinge of pride in her voice.
“…”
Davis could only shake his head. Whether it was Saintess Lunaria or Fairy Thunderblaze, they both had powerful disciples.
‘Fortunately, I have Illumina…’ He smirked, knowing she had long entered the Exalt Beast Stage.
He couldn’t wait to et her again.
“If all goes well, you should be able to use the Golden Throne Master.”
Davis said as he began to hover past the grand mountain.
“I have no idea.” Fairy Thunderblaze followed suit, appearing by his side as she turned to look at the severed head in his hand.
“Where did you plan on leading us to? Still have hope?”
“…”
Karyon Stormsong’s golden pupils quivered.
‘These evil cultivators…! Do they have no fear…!?’ He inwardly scread, but he wasn’t about to reveal what he had in store for them here, as it might very well be his last hope, like she said.
He also heard what they were talking about and couldn’t help but shudder. The two of them were nightmarish threats to the entire universe. They still had not grown yet to think that Lightning Demoness Thunderblaze would have a Divine Exalt character under her control. He finally knew he had picked the wrong opponents, regret seething in his heart.
He also felt like he had to reveal this information to the world, but he couldn’t imagine himself leaving this place alive, causing him to close his eyes and senses altogether.
*Vmmm~*
The air ahead warped.
Colors bled away until the world beca a pallid, colorless fog that seed to breathe. The grand mountain below them vanished like it was never there. Even the violent thunderstorm of the Shard Region muted into a haunting stillness.
From that formless horizon, sothing erged. There were no footsteps, no sound, just a floating mass hovering towards them.
It was faceless.
A shifting blot of nothingness, its body texture looking as though it was made up of molten shadow and warped glass. Tens of tendrils, accurately eighty-one tendrils, swayed from its mass, each one lined with faintly shimring runes that twisted the gaze. At its center, a single vertical eye opened. There was no iris, no pupil, just an endless, luminous white that stared into the soul.
The mont it saw them, Davis and Fairy Thunderblaze realized.
‘One-Eyed Phantasm Dreaater…!’
It was a Realm Calamity-level existence, but they had barely noticed when the world in front of them folded, replaced with utter darkness, before it elongated into thousands of fractured shards, each reflecting a nightmare.
