Davis’s vision increasingly blurred, making him want to relinquish the Grim Death’s Awakening Technique. He would lose the Eternal Eclipse Bird and might not be able to cast the sa technique to reawaken it, as he had no idea how that worked.
Regardless, such details weren’t going around his head as he could only feel pain, unbearable pain.
It was like a pillar that had broken, unable to contain the weight of the building above. Everything was going to collapse if he continued to let it crumble.
He quickly tried to restore his soul essence by stitching and nding it back as he pushed the torn soul essence back into his soul through the glabella. As long as he could push it back to his soul and nd it, which no normal person is capable of doing, but he could with his unique Everlasting Samsara Tribunal Soul Physique, he knew he could successfully endure this backlash.
However, he couldn’t tell if he was alone here or if soone was watching the battle, waiting to take advantage.
Anyone could attack him now, and he was totally vulnerable.
He could die.
But the pain was simply unbearable that Davis wanted to die and reform into a Ghost Will so he could resurrect again. It was not a problem for him to die as long as he didn’t get sealed.
He endured grueling monts as he used life energy to heal. Each second felt like a month passing by. He nearly started twitching like he was having a seizure, but he endured. He kept his gaze sharp despite the blurriness and tried to control his breathing, gasping like he was at death’s embrace.
Eventually, the heaviness in his soul beca bearable, and his pain receded.
When Davis ca to himself, he couldn’t even tell how much ti had passed. He sat on the hot ground bed and ditated. He healed his soul further, getting rid of the pain completely and regenerating the torn bonds of the soul that had dispersed.
His eyeballs trembled inside his eye sockets, and he eventually opened his eyes to see no one around except the spirit fey, who was still knocked out.
Davis really couldn’t believe that their fight wasn’t witnessed by anyone. Was he that lucky?
He turned to look at a nearby mountain.
’Was it my imagination...?’ Davis narrowed his eyes.
He felt like soone was there, maybe multiple people. He imagined that it could be the two people whom Alr Spacewill had fought before, and one of them released a projection across areas for help.
Nonetheless, he stood up and patted the dust from his battered robe.
He heaved a breath and walked towards Alr Spacewill.
A strange premonition ca over him as he thought of killing him, as though it wouldn’t end well for him.
"Hmph, a fucking Spirit Exalt soul strand is inside of him?" Davis harrumphed coldly, truly wanting to crush his head.
However, his perception of danger told him that the killmark that could erupt upon Alr Spacewill’s death or even soulscour could end up badly for him.
’Did his so-called Master use the Space-Ti Quintessence Ring to create the killmark? Using it, they might be capable of watching what happened even right now...’
Davis felt shaken as he nearly wanted to take a step back. However, he was extrely pissed. It had been a while since he was pushed to this state. His attacks didn’t work at all with the ring having impregnable defense, only vulnerable to karmic attacks and perhaps chaos-destruction.
He never got to use the latter since he couldn’t near Alr Spacewill or get trapped by the spatial do and sucked inside the ring. He still didn’t know what was inside the ring or how it worked internally since he was nearly incapacitated.
He took the ring with the black-silver luster out and tried to form a preliminary connection with it. His terrifying soul force poured into it, forcing it to admit him as its master.
Davis’s brows narrowed as the ring resisted him.
However, he drowned it with his soul force. It wasn’t like he used much energy to defeat Alr Spacewill.
After so ti, the ring was no longer able to resist, and he bound it with his soul.
"Perfect...!"
Davis couldn’t help but feel excited. He looked over to Alr Spacewill and had naturally built a spirit formation around him. However, his eyes turned complicated as he could see sothing was injected into his body through his neck. There was sothing like a snake bite.
Soone or so people were really here!
Davis figured it was so kind of paralytic poison or sleep inducer.
However, they didn’t try to kill him, which made him believe that they knew about his ability to resurrect. Did they leave as soon as they saw signs of him recovering?
He couldn’t tell, but regardless, he was full of caution.
He barely sank his soul sense when his expression froze.
’What the...’
Davis saw thousands of people, beasts, spirits, and beings of various races sealed inside. He even saw the bodies of the three people he had saved. It was preserved like it was lost in ti. Their postures were as sa as the mont he pulled them with him but failed to save them.
’This is...’ Davis’s pupils dilated as he blurted out, "Ti Stop!"
His heart shook as he felt tumultuous waves crashing against him.
From the ti he was little, he had yearned to comprehend this ability, but forget stopping ti, even hastening it and slowing it down was difficult. First, one needed to comprehend both Space Laws and Ti Laws in order to manipulate ti within a space. It wasn’t an easy feat. Second, the energy used to change ti was simply astronomical.
One could not use it in a battle. Hence, it was pretty much useless to learn Ti Laws unless one wants to beco a Mystic Diviner or a construct specialist who wants to create Ti Chambers.
There were exceptions like Kronos Alistair, a Ti Divergent who could go back in ti and could probably use more ti-attribute techniques. Regardless, Davis had still never chanced upon Ti Stop.
Simply put, it was the ability to stop ti in a field. That was more impossible than hastening ti or slowing it down. The vast majority of scholars agreed it was restricted by the laws of the heaven and earth, the universe, and the dinsions. Ti kept flowing, and he had convinced himself it was impossible to stop it.
But here he was- looking at a field inside the ring that had its ti stopped.
When ti was stopped, absolutely nothing could move.
Davis gulped. This was a perfect place- to seal him!
He couldn’t think of any way to co out of this ring. He could only think of external thods.
Coming out of his reverie, he patted his chest, ’Good thing I didn’t get near him and use chaos-destruction. If I failed to break his control over the ring, I would’ve been pulled in...’
"Urghh..."
At this mont, Alr Spacewill woke up. He clenched his teeth and spat out blood, coughing heavily as he turned to gaze at the Divine Emperor of Death. His heart sank as he couldn’t feel his arms, much less the ring.
However, before he could say anything, his eyes glazed over. He was put under an illusion.
"Now then, since I can’t kill you straight, I’ll drop you into the volcano and watch you die. But before that, I got a lot of questions to ask and you got a lot of answers to give ..."
