Now reading: Chapter 4756 Myriad Coiling Spirit Peak's Guardian from Divine Emperor of Death, a Action novel by Stardustbreaker.

Amidst the oppressive atmosphere, after what seed to be a long ti, a long sigh echoed.

"Indeed… Beings like could rarely ever have children. She was a miracle in my life, my only child after I reached this stage. I shouldn't have been hard on her, which forced her to flee with that bastard without even talking to once!"

*Bzzzz!~*

The anger of a true deity was incredible, shattering Davis's eardrums and making his head ring. In front of him was a frail hand, yet it summoned a semi-transparent dark barrier.

If Rioxys Plu didn't cover for him, he might've died to reform under the true deity's gaze.

Davis didn't bother with getting hostile. By now, he had learned mortals or even immortals shouldn't be in the sa plane as true deities. The life order was simply great, and hearing their stimulated voice was simply a death sentence to those who couldn't handle it. It led to the breakdown of the soul.

Fortunately, his soul was strong, not even facing a minor injury.

If he had been targeted, things would be different; the damage would be incurable with his current thods. Who knew how long it would take, even if he used Fallen Heaven? The injury might take centuries to heal.

"Grandpa!" Rioxys Plu pouted, her white eyes narrowed, "Did you forget this person is my benefactor? Is our tribe that rotten to be rude to benefactors?"

The Guardian clicked his tongue softly.

"Why is he so frail? The ones who co here can at least withstand gazing at …" He complained while averting his gaze before he harrumphed with a controlled intent.

"Even though he is a benefactor, he is an Anarchic Divergent. Our little tribe can fall easily to the whims of one who has grown as strong as we. You do not know the dangers they bring, destroying realms and creating bloodshed to a degree that even the villains here would cry and beg for their lives. They are like the Calamities outside, but even more dangerous because of how intelligent they are. Fortunately, this is the Elental Dinsion. He has danced so much now that even the Supres have marked him."

"…!?" Rioxys Plu was stunned.

Recently, she had been studying the history of the Myriad Coiling Spirit Peak and the Shard Continent. Her horizons were much broader than before. Compared to what Bylai taught her about the True Immortal World, she knew more about the situation in the Greater Realms, knowing it was possible to get there at specific tis.

So, she was planning on reuniting with Bylai's family sooner or later.

However, when she learned about the Supres and the restrictions placed on the Elental Dinsion for the organisms living here, she was mortified. It was so high that it nearly brought her to despair, thinking that she couldn't reunite with Bylai. However, her grandpa said that there was a way, but he wouldn't reveal it until he confird she was obedient.

Regardless, her grandfather now said that Davis had been marked by the Supres. How did that happen?

She knew the Supres were existences that they do not dare offend. Their actions were elusive and their intentions unclear. They appeared whenever there were many changes to the natural cycle of the Elental Dinsion. She heard from her grandfather that he had only seen them twice!

On the other hand, Davis was thoroughly stunned.

He couldn't even sense the other party's soul sense sweeping over him and investigating his soul. Fortunately, it seems like Fallen Heaven wasn't found. His back was filled with sweat, not knowing how Fallen Heaven managed to avoid that kind of powerful soul sense. He assud it was the case and proceeded to smile faintly as though acknowledging his words.

"Precisely, Guardian. I am an entity that can twist the fates of anyone I co into. What you don't know is that it doesn't necessarily have to be bad. A variety of people have gained plenty of advantages from , including your own granddaughter; am I wrong?"

The Guardian of the Mountain went silent. He frowned, "Although you brought my granddaughter here, I hear that it was a human woman called Bylai who nurtured her."

"I am glad you understand that, Guardian. My Bylai's good deed of nurturing Rioxys Plu has turned into an achievent that guarded from not one but two Archons. Without her, I might've died in this region."

Davis said with so pride as he nodded. He looked as though he was bragging, "I'm not going to take that achievent from her, but ultimately, it is my divergence that built my family that caused your granddaughter to be reunited with you. Otherwise, she would've beco prey to the Nefarious Darkwill Rakshasa."

Rioxys Plu shivered. Even now, she was scared of that incident when she recalled how she was caught by it and pulled to be eaten.

The Guardian's brows twitched when he heard Davis include him in the list who would harm him. Just as he was about to respond-

Davis waved his sleeves, "Talking about whose achievent this is is useless. If you wish to repay , then it would be better to send back to a safe place. If you wish to repay Bylai, then you need to send her husband back to her in one piece. Either way, sending Rioxys Plu with us would be good for her overall growth and ntal well-being instead of being stuck here and forced to repeat the sa thing you did for your daughter."

"…" The Guardian moved his hand, "What eloquence. You human race's people are as cunning as ever, wanting to divide and conquer every race you co across. Hmph!"

He harrumphed, causing the black temple to tremble.

However, he had seemingly contained his aura's outburst to the front, which didn't harm Davis.

Still, Davis knew that his entire body was drenched in sweat. He couldn't believe the pressure his body was facing, that he knew each cell was under extre duress.

"I heard about the culling. I suppose it happened because they had grown too much here and were intruding on the mountain more than they could afford to?"

"It doesn't matter. Whether we kill them or not, those who belong to this realm are hunted down by the Calamities fiercely before the next opening. It's like they have a beacon lit on their heads, so the humans who survived could only run to a corner and build their small tombs to leave their legacies. The only way to leave here is to stay in the sa cultivation base they ca in. Otherwise, they can't leave, forced to undergo a period of cleansing where they would be fully recognized as denizens of this dinsion."

Davis was stunned.

So those who got trapped had to stay in the sa cultivation base they ca in for millions and billions of years? What had the stern ntality to do that?

He knew Fairy Thunderblaze was sealed for millions of years in the Heavenly Ice Stasis Valley, but she had been unconscious the whole ti. It was like taking a huge sleep for her, unlike this, where they had to painfully wait for the next opening of the Elental Dinsion.

It was ridiculous.

"Is there no other way?" Davis asked, wanting to leave as soon as possible because of the tumultuous changes he might bring to the dinsion when he was going to let those three Wills clash.

"There are indeed other ways, but you don't need to know. However, this naturalization process takes rather too long, so those humans decide to either commit suicide or crash into a Calamity that is specifically born to hunt them sooner or later. Those who settle down and create a family here are in the minority, and they end up being taken advantage of by people like Cloud Elder Zaratu. In the end, barely any humans survive until the next opening, leaving only legacies which are none of our concern."

The Guardian went silent, letting Davis digest this information before he waved him off.

"Rioxys, show him to his quarters. Let him rest and hear my answer after I've thought about it."

"Ah~" Rioxys Plu was stunned. She hurriedly bowed, "Many thanks for your consideration, grandfather."

She joyfully replied, knowing that if her grandfather was willing to consider the matter, then it was as good as done. She got her way by pleading and begging, always causing him to reconsider, so she thought it would be the sa this ti.

anwhile, Davis was still in contemplation, not even having heard the command to leave.

He thought back to the False Dawn Harbinger and how it had left abruptly. He thought it had been scared by the Malevolent Flesh Erasure Fan, but now, he felt it might not be the case.

'Calamities… are also trials for the newly inducted denizens of the Elental Dinsion? If they want to leave, they must face another Calamity at the ti of the opening? Interesting… does this an the False Dawn Harbinger left because it went to face soone of the older generation…? Who could it be…?'
