It is a type of curse that is activated when a few conditions are t. Rumors indicate that the Ancestor of the Heavenly Ghost Crow Clan managed to make his curses powerful because of the Heavenly Restriction Pact."
Davis and Mingzhi's brows raised as they looked at each other.
Back then, one of the mbers of the Heavenly Ghost Crow Clan claid to have killed the most powerful Anarchic Divergent to ever exist. Because of that, they claid they were blessed by the heavens. Every Heavenly Ghost Crow then was able to use powerful curses that were able to take down their foes beyond their own power and still not receive karmic sin.
So it was related to this Heavenly Restriction Pact?
They turned to look at Evelynn.
Mingzhi asked, "What are the conditions?"
Evelynn continued, "As far as Tia could guess, the first condition is to be punished by the heavens. The second condition is to have an extraordinary Will that can stand against the heavens. The third condition is to survive the punishnt and then challenge the heavens during a tribulation that's far more powerful than they can handle. It could be interpreted as facing soone else's powerful tribulation, which they would most likely not survive. The fourth condition is to offer sothing precious or form restrictions on oneself during the challenge so as to leverage your resolve. There could be more conditions that are unknown to us that could exist, but basically, Natalya fulfilled all these four conditions."
She heaved a breath, unable to believe that carefree little sister of hers really went against the heavens without a care in the world. She was a true fanatic if she had ever seen one.
"Oh?" Mingzhi appeared intrigued.
"You cannot challenge the heavens in your own tribulation, but can challenge it in soone else's tribulation?" Davis blinked.
He wasn't a stranger to facing soone else's tribulation. He did it for Tia first before he did it for anyone else. Even for Lucian and Kronos Alistair, he technically didn't face their tribulations for them but swallowed their tribulations with his own.
Then did he also have the chance to challenge the heavens?
"I'm not sure how it works…" Evelynn blinked, "You should ask Tia when she returns."
"…" Davis nearly face-pald himself.
Such an important thing, but Tia didn't say anything and went away. Of course, it was he who brought a potential disaster ho in the form of Zhao Yan and asked her to take care of it, so he couldn't bla her. He guessed she left everything to Evelynn to deal with it since she believed that she might deal better than herself.

Hence, he and his entire bloodline ca to possess a powerful curse species technique. The Heavenly Restriction Pact turned into a blessing."

Davis couldn't help but nod. It made sense.
"Then… any idea on how to dissolve this pact?"
"…" Evelynn shook her head, "It's a life and death pact. Tia said Natalya might dissolve into nothingness as her truesoul dissipates from being unable to complete her challenge, only existing within the confines of your soul like she is your own imagination."

Davis shuddered.
What kind of horror episode was that?
He would be glad to have Natalya in his soul, but only his imagination?
He shook his head, "Then any other ideas to bring back Natalya unhard then?"
"None." Evelynn apologetically shook her head.

Davis looked up.
He couldn't go et Natalya, nor could he wait, allowing Natalya to remain in a state where she wasn't herself.
Part of him felt like everything would go well and that Natalya would be 'awakened' if he were to return to her, but it would be nothing more than a pure gamble.

"What did you realize?" Evelynn's brows flickered with joy as she saw him beco confident.
"Particularly nothing."

Seeing Davis shrug, her heart sank to the depths of the abyss. He shouldn't be half-hearted about this matter, but seeing him look convinced rather than careless, she found it hard to say anything.
"Wouldn't it be better to see Natalya first?" Ellia suggested hesitantly.
She was all for Davis confronting their 'child', but if she had known about Natalya's matter, then she would've postponed it later. It wasn't like Lydia was in danger or anything. To Lydia, she was aware that they themselves were the danger. Any attempts to expose her in any way might end badly, but on the other hand, they only need to save Natalya, and Davis seed quite confident.
"Ellia, do you know what it ans to devote yourself to soone that you stop thinking about their limits and have all the faith in them to succeed in whatever they try?"

Davis didn't answer. He kept his smile and turned to look at Stella.
He asked her to be ready for his signal before moving into the sanctuary for the first ti.
