"Brother Xu Nian, is this really a killing array?"
Luo Yanxia asked, sowhat apprehensive.
The journey here had been filled with dangers at every corner.
The killing arrays in this forbidden zone were notoriously terrifying in their power.
"It should be. The murderous aura from this statue is intense, forming a domain with the surroundings, which is very characteristic of a killing array. As for what kind of array it is, that’s yet to be determined," Xu Nian replied.
Upon hearing this, Luo Yanxia’s face grew even more troubled.
She involuntarily stepped back two steps, clearly wanting to get further away from the statue.
"Let’s see if we can find a way around it," Tong Cheng suggested.
"There’s no way around it. The entire path is covered by the murderous aura; we’ll have to force our way through," the Holy Daughter remarked with a frown.
Xu Nian nodded in agreent.
If they wanted to go further inside, they had no other choice but to press on.
"Let’s go!" the Holy Daughter said.
She then led the elder onward.
Xu Nian and Li Tian exchanged a glance and followed.
The Tong brothers and Luo Yanxia also decided to follow suit.
They had no choice; even retreating now would be perilous.
Following the Holy Daughter seed to be the safer option.
"Buzz!"
Just as they set foot into the area with the murderous aura,
the previously still statue suddenly opened its eyes, and the next mont, its massive body began to move.
The stone sword in its hand swung down swiftly, carrying with it a fierce gale.
The power it held would make even soone at the peak of the Luoxian Realm reluctant to face it head-on.
"Swoosh!"
Xu Nian’s figure flashed as he imdiately dodged to one side.

The gigantic sword fell, and the resulting sword wind swept them all away for a distance of a thousand ters.

Luo Yanxia and the Tong brothers both spat out a mouthful of blood.

Another strike landed.
Even a hill was smashed into pieces.
Luo Yanxia managed to dodge that strike but was hit by flying rocks, spewing blood and sustaining severe injuries.
No one went to save her at that mont.
Everyone had to look after themselves.
"Your Highness, please save ," Luo Yanxia cried out, clutching her chest. She tried to get up but couldn’t manage it.
The Holy Daughter glanced at Luo Yanxia, tossed her a healing Immortal Pill, and paid no more attention.
Luo Yanxia quickly consud the Immortal Pill, but her injuries couldn’t heal in a short ti.
"Buzz!"
Simultaneously, the statue’s giant sword swung down again.
It carried a terrifying oppressive wave of Power of Earth.
One strike could instantly pulverize everything into mush.
If it hit, Luo Yanxia would surely die.
"No..." Luo Yanxia struggled desperately, seemingly attempting to evade.
Before she could move a few steps, she fell to the ground once more.
Her eyes filled with despair.
But just as the sword was about to strike, a spatial ripple appeared.
The next mont, Luo Yanxia’s figure disappeared from the spot.
When she reappeared, she was already beside Xu Nian.
"Brother Xu Nian? Thank you for saving ," Luo Yanxia said, her face full of surprise and gratitude as she looked at Xu Nian.
"Cut the chatter and focus on healing," Xu Nian said coldly.
Hearing this, Luo Yanxia imdiately began to tend to her wounds.
"Brother Xu, why did you save her? Don’t tell you’ve taken a liking to her," Li Tian’s teasing voice echoed in Xu Nian’s mind.
"Of course not. I just think she might still be useful, planning to take her under my wing," Xu Nian replied telepathically.
"Oh, is Brother Xu planning to establish a faction?" Li Tian asked, surprised.
"Not exactly establishing a faction. I’m looking for Taiqing Holy Water. I’ve realized it’s too hard to find on my own; I’d be better off recruiting others to help search," Xu Nian explained.
Li Tian nodded, asking no further questions.
Xu Nian was telling the truth; he did indeed intend to recruit Luo Yanxia.
Of course, not in that way; he had no personal interest in her.
"Buzz!"
At that mont, the statue swung again.
Xu Nian frowned, once more using the Space Law.
He guided Luo Yanxia out of harm’s way.
"Boom!"
The terrifying Power of Earth crushed everything into dust.
"What do we do? Is there any way we can get through?" Tong Cheng shouted.
The statue now blocked the path, and anyone who dared attempt passage would be forced back by the stone sword.
The Holy Daughter frowned deeply.
"Your Highness, let this old servant try," the elder said.
He then pulled out a Pill.
"Elder," the Holy Daughter said worriedly.
"It’s just an old life. This servant can afford to lose it. If Your Highness can find the Taiqing Grass, then it’s worth it even if I die,"
said the elder, swallowing the Pill.
The next mont, the white-haired elder’s hair fluttered wildly, and his aura skyrocketed.
Golden light burst from his body.
"Whoa, that’s a Top-grade Immortal Pill, the Three Corpses Divine Pill," Li Tian exclaid.
"The Three Corpses Divine Pill?" Xu Nian asked in surprise.
Tong Cheng and Tong Han looked equally puzzled.
Only the Holy Daughter stood with a sad frown.
"The Three Corpses Divine Pill is a forbidden pill that extracts all of one’s latent power. Now that the white-haired elder has taken it, he probably possesses the strength of the Golden Immortal Realm, but anyone who takes this pill is dood to die," Li Tian said seriously.
His eyes turned reverential as he looked at the elder.
Xu Nian was equally astonished upon hearing this.
He hadn’t expected the white-haired elder to be willing to die for the Holy Daughter.
Such unwavering loyalty was truly admirable.
"Buzz!" The gigantic sword fell.
The elder walked through the air, filled with Golden Immortal Power.
Sword Radiance quickly ford, clashing with the gigantic sword.
The forces clashed, equally matched.
"Your Highness, go quickly," the white-haired elder shouted.
The Holy Daughter witnessed this, bowed slightly to the elder, and then turned to head deeper in without looking back.
Xu Nian and the others didn’t hesitate and followed imdiately.
"Boom!"
As Jiang Han and the group moved forward,
the elder’s form turned to smoke and vanished into the sky.
Everyone was somber.
No one had anticipated that the elder would sacrifice himself for everyone’s safety.
"Let’s keep moving," the Holy Daughter said.
Xu Nian and the rest nodded, heading deeper into the forbidden zone.
Soon, they reached the true depths of the forbidden area.
It was a vast valley.
Filled with rare and precious herbs.
Yet the scene in the valley sent chills down their spines.
