After felling the second brother with a single strike, the Steel Beast shot forward like a cannonball, lunging toward the eldest of the North Mountain Four Heroes, radiating a grim killing intent.
Unlike Su Mi, the Blood Dominator with her unique personality, the Steel Beast was a weapon of war, a Slaughter Fierce Beast that knew only slaughter.
The eldest of the North Mountain Four Heroes’ expression changed drastically. While fending off Hassina’s Long Sword, he pleaded bitterly, "Shu Feng, spare my life! I can serve you! I can be your dog! I’m begging you, don’t kill . I’m an expert at the Spirit Sect Realm Peak. I can swear an oath to serve you for the rest of my life!"
"Fine. Stop resisting imdiately, and I’ll let you live!"
Shu Feng smiled faintly and activated the Badge Power of his Phantom Badge. As he looked at the eldest of the North Mountain Four Heroes, two whirlpools materialized in his eyes.
A vicious glint flashed in the hero’s eyes. Activating his Spiritual Power, a necklace on his chest shot out. A crystal on it burst, detonating like a flashbang, as bright as a sun suddenly rising into the sky.
Caught off guard, Hassina rapidly retreated, swinging her sword to defend herself.
Shu Feng and the Steel Beast were also blinded by the sudden flashbang, temporarily losing their vision.
The eldest of the North Mountain Four Heroes executed his Lightweight Skill. Like a wild goose, he shot backward, fleeing into the distance.
Experts of the Spirit Sect Realm all possessed terrifying physical prowess. Even when dazzled by a flashbang, the effect would only last for an instant. If the eldest hero didn’t seize this chance to escape, death was his only way out.

In a flash, the Steel Beast appeared before the eldest of the North Mountain Four Heroes. It swung its Steel Blade in a frenzy, easily severing all four of his limbs.
"My arms, my legs! Shu Feng, I curse you! I curse you to die a horrible death..."
Shu Feng strode forward, appearing before the eldest hero. He placed a hand on him and absorbed him directly into the Warrior Synthesis Nest, tossing his four severed limbs in as well.
Countless transparent tentacles extended from within the Warrior Synthesis Nest, viciously piercing the hero’s body and beginning to modify his flesh and genes.
Horrific screams echoed from the eldest hero. Shu Feng, hating the man for his insolent curses, had not bothered with anesthesia, instead beginning the modification while he was still conscious. Inside the Warrior Synthesis Nest, he couldn’t die even if he wanted to.
From the Central Control Tower, a mysterious Curse Seal erged. A pillar of light shone down on the eldest of the North Mountain Four Heroes, causing him to let out another round of heart-stopping, terrifying screams.
Shu Feng had never used such absolute thods of control on Camilla or Hassina. But for scum like the eldest of the North Mountain Four Heroes, there was no need for gentleness. He used the most effective thod of control possible, treating him just like a Synthetic Beast.
If the eldest hero hadn’t been a Spirit Sect Realm Peak expert with so remaining use, Shu Feng wouldn’t have even spared his miserable life.
’A bunch of paupers. They don’t have anything good!’
A look of disdain flashed in Shu Feng’s eyes as he rummaged through the belongings of the North Mountain Four Heroes.
Inside the packs the North Mountain Four Heroes had been carrying were only ten Middle-grade Spirit Stones, just over a hundred Low-grade Spirit Stones, and so water, food, and dicine. Their loot was a whole different class from what Duke Balao Na had left behind.
Shu Feng pointed a finger, and the Spiritual Power within his body drained away at a frantic pace.
A faint light flashed, and Su Mi, the Blood Dominator, imdiately appeared before Shu Feng.
"So this is the Void Demon Hunting Ground! I can hunt to my heart’s content here. This is wonderful! Shu Feng, I’m going out to play. Don’t call for unless my life’s in danger, ’kay~?"
Su Mi glanced around, a brilliant Divine Light blooming in her beautiful eyes. She gave Shu Feng a bewitching smile, her figure flickered, and she vanished from where she stood.
Shu Feng watched her departing figure with a faint smile, making no move to stop her.
Every Dominator had their own personality. Though loyal to Shu Feng, they all expressed it differently. Su Mi, for example, had no desire to stay by his side like a decorative vase; she loved the thrill of the hunt.
Shu Feng’s figure flickered and vanished.
「Hunting Palace, Void Demon Realm」
On a black throne sat a monster. It stood twenty ters tall, with three horns sprouting from its head and four eyes set in a face as ferocious as a ghost’s. Its mouth was full of sharp, serrated teeth. It had four arms, a long, trailing tail, and its body was inscribed with profound Demon Patterns.
This monster was the Hunting King, a terrifying Void Demon King capable of battling Divine Spirits.
In his right hand, the Hunting King held a goblet fashioned from the skull of a Giant Divine Spirit. The face on the skull was still lifelike, its eyes glaring furiously. The top of its cranium had been removed, and the hollowed-out skull was filled with golden blood.
Arranged around the Hunting King were nurous skull trophies. There were skulls of Divine Spirits, Humans, Giant Dragons, Void Demons, and Demons. Each skull radiated a terrifying aura. Before their deaths, they had all clearly been extrely formidable beings, every last one at least at the Spirit Saint Level.
A Spirit Saint was considered a peak expert on Blue Star, yet before the top echelons of the Void Demon Clan, they were nothing more than prey to be hunted at will.
A young Void Demon walked into the great hall. He was two ters tall and quite handso, with a humanoid form, a single horn on his head, and a tail that trailed behind him. He knelt on both knees, prostrating himself on the ground, and said respectfully, "Royal Father, I am ready. This ti, I will surely put on a spectacular hunt and claim an outstanding skull for you to use as a goblet."
"I only want an Emperor Level skull for a goblet! If you can’t manage that, then I’ll use *your* skull for one!"
A voice, cold, cruel, tyrannical, and chilling, emanated from the throne. An indifferent, glacial, and rciless gaze fell upon the young man below.
This young, humanoid Void Demon was an heir born from the Hunting King’s union with a beautiful human woman. Among the Hunting King’s countless descendants, he was one of the most talented, possessing a bloodline that was closest to the King’s own.
However, the Hunting King had innurable descendants. To Him, this half-breed born from a union with the Human Race was nothing more than a toy for His amusent.
