"Ah... Ah!"
"Aahh... Spare , spare !"
Silver needles flew like shuttles, recklessly piercing through the brows and throats of each gunman, leaving behind exploding bloody holes.
THUMP. THUMP.
In the blink of an eye, accompanied by shrill screams, one figure after another fell, their eyes wide with unwillingness. It was as if a gigantic, invisible scythe of death had indifferently swept across, reaping lives as easily as cutting down wheat.
HISS!
Seeing this, the tense mbers of the Yuan family and Ming Xiang’s group all gasped in shock. The thousands of nervous underlings stared so hard their eyeballs nearly popped out of their sockets.
Is this Brother Lin’s true, terrifying strength? He really lives up to his notorious title as the God of Killing! This is an outright, crushing massacre, even more effortless than stepping on a colony of ants!
"Hmph, it’s always like this. He never gives us a chance to act..."
Mrs. Xue and Wang ng, who had been tensed up and ready for a big fight, couldn’t help but quietly breathe a sigh of relief. Wang ng’s eyes, however, were filled with envy and admiration, his face flushed red as if he’d been shot with adrenaline. Mrs. Xue just pursed her lips and muttered her complaint under her breath.
"Grandfather, Lin Fan said... everything tonight was aid at him alone," Yuan Youwei whispered to a relaxed Mr. Yuan Sr., her own heart finally at ease.
"Hmm, no matter who it was aid at, we have to face it," Mr. Yuan Sr. replied without turning his head, his gaze still fixed on the developing situation. His palms were covered in fine sweat, and his heart pounded with waves of lingering fear and imnse relief.
If we hadn’t chosen to submit to him in the beginning, the Yuan family would be the ones being rcilessly crushed by Lin Fan right now.
"Stop! Lin Fan, you bastard, stop! No more killing! Stop it!"
Just then, Mr. Han Sr., who had been standing stupefied, suddenly erupted in a hysterical shout. anwhile, Yuan Xiangjun, Han Yiming, and Yuan Lang’s group were scared out of their wits, huddling together in a tight ball.
In just a few seconds, more than five hundred of the Black Wind Hall’s gunn lay sprawled across the ground. The remaining few dozen had lost their wits in terror, frantically pulling their triggers in panic. Not only did they fail to harm Lin Fan, but they also ended up shooting and killing many of their own comrades in the chaos.
Sweat beaded on Lin Fan’s forehead. "Weren’t you the one who wanted to wipe us out?" he asked. His right hand hung at his waist, and with a gesture, he deftly summoned back the silver needles scattered across the ground. To prevent the stray bullets from hitting anyone, he had to control the needles with his Qi, transforming the invisible Qi Force into a thousand threads and launching them without holding back. The effect was obvious, but the toll on Lin Fan was enormous.
SWISH! SWISH! SWISH!
As if sentient, the scattered silver needles autonomously attacked the fleeing, panic-stricken gunn.
THUMP. THUMP.
The last few dozen n also fell one after another, their dying screams filled with terror, their faces frozen in fear and anxiety.
And so, more than five hundred elites of the Black Wind Hall were effortlessly wiped out by Lin Fan alone. The stench of blood rose to the heavens, seemingly obscuring the moon as corpses carpeted the ground. The scene was as terrifying as a boundless inferno.
"You, you...!"
Mr. Han Sr. stood rigidly behind the mountain of corpses and sea of blood, his entire body trembling, his eyes bloodshot and bulging. The initial shock gave way to an intense, bone-deep chill. He was a man who had lived by the blade, who had once commanded thousands in street brawls. But compared to the absolutely terrifying spectacle before him, his past experiences paled in comparison.
What was worse, the cold, standing figure of the God of Killing showed no flicker of emotion, as if he were so accustod to such scenes that he didn’t even blink.
"You’re definitely no ordinary person! Who... who the hell are you?!" Mr. Han Sr. shrieked in his terror.
"You worthless scum are not worthy of knowing his identity."
However, before Lin Fan could respond, a red-faced Wang ng strode forward and proudly declared,
"Lin Fan! Yuan Youwei! You just wait! This won’t end like this!"
Seeing that Mr. Han Sr. was completely intimidated, his expression shifting unpredictably as he clearly started to cower, Yuan Xiangjun’s face filled with resentnt. She let out a shrill scream and turned to leave.
"I’m telling you, you’re finished! The Black Wind Hall will co out in full force to exterminate your entire family!" Han Yiming shouted with false bravado, his forehead drenched in cold sweat and his face ghastly pale.
Yuan Lang and the others in front of the coffin exchanged glances. They didn’t even care about Yuan Ruoshan’s remains anymore; all they wanted was to make a quick escape.
"Did I say you could leave?"
The next mont, Lin Fan took a step and his figure vanished from the spot, reappearing like a ghost in front of Mr. Han Sr.’s group to block their path.
"Start the dirge again. Don’t stop. See them off."
Unperturbed by their ghastly expressions, Lin Fan turned and tilted his head toward the band of funeral musicians behind the coffin, who were already petrified with fear.
"Okay, okay..."
Upon hearing this, the musicians hired by Yuan Lang exchanged helpless and fearful glances. They could only nod and reluctantly begin playing again. The wailing funeral music shrouded the scene like a shadow of death. Mr. Han Sr. and his group shrank together, chills running down their spines.
It had to be said, that son of a bitch Lin Fan was truly vicious and malicious. This scene, coupled with the scalp-numbing funeral music, was enough to scare a man witless—or even drive him insane!
"Lin Fan, if you dare to touch us, it will be war without end! You’d better consider the consequences!" Mr. Han Sr. yelled fiercely, forcing himself to suppress his fear.
Lin Fan shook his head, his face expressionless. "Aren’t we already at war without end? You brought your n here to wipe out the Yuan family. Did you really think I’d let you leave alive?
"I’ve said it before. After tonight, the Han family of the provincial capital, along with their damned Black Wind Hall, will be erased from the Southwest provinces."
His indifferent voice wasn’t loud, but it exploded like thunder in the ears of Mr. Han Sr. and his entourage.
"Hahaha! Lin Fan, do you think I’ve lost? I’m telling you, you’ve underestimated the influence of the Han family, and you don’t understand the weight of the Ying family in the Imperial Capital!"
Just then, Mr. Han Sr. froze for a mont before snapping his head toward the manor entrance. His face filled with a mix of shock and joy as he burst into a wild, arrogant laugh.
ROAR! ROAR!
The roar of engines reverberated through the sky above the manor. Then, before everyone’s eyes, a convoy of pickup trucks packed with fully ard warriors roared into view.
"Grandfather, it’s the City Defense Army from the City Lord’s Mansion!" Yuan Youwei’s Yu Rong changed slightly as she whispered to Mr. Yuan Sr., who was now squinting.
Amidst nurous gazes, a tall, formidable man in a Commander’s uniform swaggered out from behind the formation. He lazily surveyed the scene and barked, "Haicheng City Defense Army! On a mission to quell a violent ard gang! All of you, on the ground with your hands on your heads!"
However, when his gaze fixed on the corpses and black handguns strewn across the ground, the man shuddered. Visibly displeased, he glared at Mr. Han Sr. with annoyance.
He pointed a finger at the bodies on the ground and snorted. "Didn’t I tell you to take it easy? Not to make such a big scene?
"You’ve killed so many people. How am I supposed to explain this back at the City Lord’s Mansion?"
"Commander Jiang, you’re mistaken! It wasn’t us who killed them... damn it, these were the elites of my Black Wind Hall from the provincial capital!" Mr. Han Sr.’s face turned pale, then red. He hung his head, looking utterly humiliated.
Han Yiming was so angry his nose was practically crooked. Pointing at Lin Fan a few steps away, he was on the verge of tears. "It was him! It was Lin Fan! He alone killed more than five hundred of our n!"
What? Good heavens... so you’re telling all the thugs the Han family brought were wiped out by this one guy nad Lin Fan?
Commander Jiang gasped, shocked to his core. All traces of laziness vanished, his eyes nearly popping out of their sockets. Behind him, the warriors of the City Defense Army all drew a sharp breath.
CLICK-CLACK!
They raised their guns in unison, aiming them all at the lone figure of Lin Fan. Even though he stood there with an indifferent expression, they felt as if they were facing a trendous enemy.
Lin Fan stared at Commander Jiang’s shifting expression. "Commander Jiang, is it?" he asked coolly. "Are you here to save the Yuan family, or to aid a tyrant?"
Commander Jiang’s Adam’s apple bobbed. "Hmph. Lin Fan, your na has beco quite well-known in Haicheng recently. Even I’ve heard a little about you." He pointed at Lin Fan and cursed, "I don’t give a damn who you are. If you touch the Han family today, I’ll make sure you die a grueso death!"
