Her hand brushed against sothing wet, and her entire body began to tremble uncontrollably. Her mind was buzzing, and then, everything went dark...
Tristan Grayson noticed her strange movent. His eyes followed her hand and landed on the blood staining the bedsheets. He shot upright, but just as he was about to speak, her head lolled to the side, and she fainted.
Watching her pass out, Tristan Grayson felt his world shatter. He shook her frantically. "Stop playing gas with ! Wake up, now!"
"Mika Sumrs! I order you to wake up this instant!"
But the woman on the bed remained limp, no matter how he shook or yelled. The dread in Tristan Grayson’s heart grew more intense.
He grabbed his phone and dialed a number. "Aiden Avery, I’m on my way to the hospital. You have half an hour. Get there now!"
"Sigh... Tristan Grayson, are you insane?" But before Aiden Avery could finish, Tristan hung up on him.
Tristan Grayson threw on his clothes, dressed her as well, and then carried her out of the room.
He’d never been so terrified. ’Could she... could she really have died just like that?’

「At the airport.」 Aiden Avery really wanted to smash his phone and then curse out Tristan Grayson. ’That bastard!’
’He’d just stepped off the plane. How did Tristan Grayson know he was back in the country?’
’He’d gone abroad to keep that woman company and had barely slept for days. Now that he was back, he wasn’t even given a mont to rest. Instead, he was ordered to rush to the hospital within thirty minutes? Damn it, was he Superman or sothing?’
But complaints were one thing. Aiden Avery knew Tristan Grayson wouldn’t call him like this in the middle of the night unless it was a true ergency.
So, he resignedly left the airport and sped toward the hospital.
When they arrived at the hospital, Tristan Grayson leaped out of the car and sprinted inside, carrying Mika Sumrs in his arms.
The mont he burst into the lobby, Tristan Grayson roared, "Who’s the doctor on duty?! Get out here now!"
A nurse on duty in the lobby turned pale with fright at the sight of Tristan Grayson. She scurried over to him. "Young Master Grayson, what’s happened?"
"If I knew, what would I need a hospital for?! Now go get the doctor!"
"Yes, I’ll go right now."
He carried her straight into the elevator and went to the ninth floor. The dical facilities on the ninth floor were the best and most comprehensive, and only people with status in Tridell were able to stay in its VIP wards.
He laid her on the bed, and monts later, the nurse from before hurried in with three doctors.
As they wheeled Mika Sumrs away for tests, Tristan Grayson wearily sank onto a chair in the hallway.
「Ten minutes later.」 Aiden Avery ca running up, panting. "Tristan, you bastard! What’s so important you had to call over in the middle of the night?" ’On the way over, he couldn’t shake the feeling that sothing was very wrong. Tristan’s grandmother had already passed away, and Maggie Monroe was abroad. What other ergency could there be that would make Tristan summon him like this?’
Tristan Grayson frowned when he saw Aiden Avery. "What are you doing here?" he asked, clearly displeased.
"What the hell! Tristan Grayson, are you ssing with ?!" ’He’d risked life and limb, racing here in the middle of the night to make it in half an hour, and Tristan Grayson had the nerve to ask what *he* was doing here?’
Aiden Avery’s shout snapped Tristan Grayson back to his senses. ’Right, he *had* called him.’ He was just montarily surprised to see Aiden Avery, who was supposed to be abroad, suddenly appear in front of him.
