A bright yellow Ferrari was parked at the hospital entrance.
Leo Joyce was leaning against the car. When he saw Alia Avery erge, he slowly straightened up, his lips curling into a wicked smirk. "My dear princess," he said with a roguish drawl, "if you’d taken any longer, I was about to go up and tie you down myself."
"What’s the rush? I’m down now, aren’t I?" Alia Avery walked right past him, opened the car door, and got in. As she fastened her seatbelt, she asked coldly, "How is Gia Miller?"
Leo Joyce dropped his roguish act and leaned in to help her with the seatbelt. "Don’t worry. I’ve already found a few of her old flas. They’re ’attending to’ her as we speak."
"Heh... A woman like her actually thinks she can be with Cassian?" Alia Avery clenched her fists in anger and sneered.
At that mont, Leo Joyce had just finished fastening her seatbelt. Hearing her words as he pulled away, his hands froze mid-air. The smile vanished from his face. He looked up at her, his voice chillingly cold. "In the future, when you’re with , do not ntion your dear Cassian!"
Alia Avery was stunned, completely baffled as to why Leo Joyce’s mood had soured so abruptly.
Leo Joyce took a step back and shut the car door. He then walked around to the driver’s side, got in, and started the engine. He didn’t say a word to Alia Avery the whole ti.
Confused and now a little angry herself, Alia Avery asked, "Leo Joyce, what you said before... does it still stand?"
"Of course it does!"
"Then tonight..."
Before Alia Avery could finish, Leo Joyce’s lips suddenly curled into a grin. He leaned in close to her face and whispered suggestively, "I’m your man tonight. Whatever you say, we do."
"Leo Joyce, get away from !" Alia Avery’s face went cold, and she shoved him away, shouting angrily.
Being shoved away so ruthlessly didn’t seem to anger Leo Joyce. He simply gave a resigned smile.
Mika Sumrs, still in her hospital gown, stood at the entrance with Tiana. They both started to panic as they watched the car drive away.
"Mika, what do we do? Alia just left with so guy!" Tiana was so frantic she was on the verge of tears.
"Don’t panic, don’t panic. We’ll follow them."
"Okay..."
The two of them hailed a taxi and followed close behind. It wasn’t hard to tail them, since Alia was in such a conspicuous luxury car.
Once they were in the taxi, Mika Sumrs cald down and had Tiana call Avery. After that, they both felt a little less panicked.
「Twenty minutes later, Siren’s Night.」
When Tristan Grayson and Aiden Avery arrived, the first thing they saw was the two won being berated by their taxi driver.
Seeing this, Tristan Grayson’s temper imdiately flared. Without another word, he strode forward, grabbed the driver, and dragged him out of the car. "I dare you to say one more word!"
"Tristan, calm down." Aiden Avery stopped Tristan, his own voice tight with anger. ’Today is just one disaster after another,’ he thought, a headache beginning to throb. "What happened with you two?"
Tiana Grayson, genuinely scared this ti, timidly got out of the car. She glanced at Aiden Avery and said in a small, wronged voice, "Neither of us has any cash..." She never carried cash; the allowance her parents gave her was all on her card.
Only then did Aiden Avery notice that Mika Sumrs was still in a hospital gown. No wonder neither of them had any money.
Feeling both resigned and furious, he pulled out his wallet, yanked out a wad of cash, and shoved it at the driver. "Is this enough?" ’Harassing two won over a taxi fare...’
"Yes, yes, that’s enough..."
Tristan Grayson carried the woman out of the car and glared at the driver. "That’s enough. Now get lost!"
The driver didn’t dare say another word. He scrambled back into his car and sped away.
Watching the taxi disappear, Tristan Grayson glanced at a pale-faced Tiana. "Tiana, let’s go." Carrying the woman in his arms, he started walking toward the car they had arrived in.
"But what about Alia?" Tiana asked worriedly, hurrying to keep up.
"Her brother can take care of his own sister!"
Hearing this, Aiden Avery, who was standing right there, felt a flare of irritation...
