Tristan Grayson took Tiana back to the Grayson family ho, then drove Mika Sumrs back to the hospital.
The entire way, Tristan’s face was dark, while Mika Sumrs gazed at the passing city lights, a faint sorrow on her face...
When they arrived at the hospital, Tristan parked the car and glanced at the woman beside him, who was staring blankly into space. He frowned in displeasure. "Get out."
At the sound of his voice, Mika Sumrs snapped out of her trance. She glanced down at her phone. It was already past midnight. ’So, our agreent is over...’
"Do I have to get out and carry you?" he asked, his tone turning even colder when he saw she was still just sitting there, not moving.
’Running all over the place while pregnant, and now she has the gall to look like *I’m* the one who’s been bullying her.’
Tristan angrily opened his door, about to get out and carry her from the car. But just then, she suddenly looked up, her voice cool and distant. "Tristan, I have sothing to tell you..."
Tristan impatiently slamd the door shut. "What is it?"
She swallowed all her emotions and forced a smile. "Just now, back at the Grayson family’s house, while you were dropping Tiana off... I called my brother."
"What are you trying to say?" A sense of unease washed over him, making his heart drop. Her words had set him on edge.
"My brother should be here soon..." Mika said, glancing at the ti on her phone again.
Tristan’s hands clenched into fists. He roared, "What the hell are you trying to say?"
"Let’s just say goodbye," she said with a smile, then opened the door and got out of the car.
It was as if a deafening roar went off in Tristan’s head, and a sharp pain gripped his heart.
’Say goodbye? What kind of goodbye does she an?’
He furiously threw open the car door, strode over to Mika, and blocked her path. "You’d better make yourself clear!" ’This woman... she actually dared to say goodbye to him! She’s getting bolder and bolder, showing him less and less respect. How many tis had he told her? As long as he didn’t say it was over, it was *never* over!’
"Tristan, didn’t you say we only had to keep up the act for ten days? It’s been ten days. It’s over. Everything is over," Mika said, fighting back the pain and the urge to cry. "You can rest easy. I won’t bother you and Miss Monroe anymore..."
’My health is so poor right now. The safest thing to do is to leave Tristan and stop myself from falling for him. Otherwise, what happened the day before yesterday, yesterday, and today could happen again at any ti...’
At her words, Tristan let out a contemptuous sneer, his eyes filled with cruel indifference. "Who told you it was over?! You’re carrying my child. Where do you think you’re going? You want to leave ? Heh... fine. First, you give birth to my child. Then you can get the hell out! After that, I don’t care where you go!" ’He had just made up his mind to try and have a real relationship with this woman, and she had to be so damn ungrateful. If it weren’t for the need to carry on the family line, did she really think he couldn’t live without her?’
Mika trembled with fear, her hands flying to protect her stomach. "This is *my* child," she said, her voice shaking. "Where I go is my business. You don’t have the right to control anymore." ’She was so scared right now, terrified that what Tristan said would co true... Why isn’t my brother here yet...’
"Heh, *your* child? If it weren’t for , how would you have a child?" Tristan grabbed her arm, holding her in place. "You’re not going anywhere until this baby is born."
"Tristan Grayson, we’re over! You can’t do this to ! The baby is mine, not yours, not yours!" she cried, struggling with all her might to keep him from touching her.
But the more she fought, the angrier Tristan beca. If she weren’t pregnant, he would have simply dragged her away by force.
Tristan tried to suppress his rage. He bent down, scooped her up into his arms, and said in an icy voice, "You just don’t know how to listen, do you..."
