Even without looking at her, Tristan Grayson could feel the woman’s eyes fixed on him. He glanced up, a handso eyebrow raised, the corner of his mouth curling into a wicked smile. "Enjoying the view?"
"Huh?" Mika Sumrs blushed and quickly lowered her head.
Tristan Grayson closed the magazine, placed it on the sofa, and stood up. He walked slowly toward Mika. "If you’re going to look, do it openly. Sneaking glances isn’t a good habit."
Embarrassed and annoyed, Mika looked up, pouting as she retorted, "I wasn’t sneaking glances. I *was* looking openly." ’He always catches when I sneak a look...’
Tristan Grayson sat beside her and brushed a stray lock of hair from her ear, his tone flirtatious. "Openly?"
"Yes, openly." Blushing, she mustered her courage and nodded.
Tristan Grayson smiled dotingly. "Not bad. So, Mrs. Grayson has learned to look openly now?"
"Mrs. Grayson?" His words made Mika’s heart skip a beat. She looked at him, nervous yet delighted.
"As Mrs. Grayson, you should always be looking at Mr. Grayson with that kind of gaze..." ’That look, so full of adoration, filled his heart with warmth and a sense of security.’
"That kind of gaze?" she asked, a little confused. "Why?"
Tristan Grayson gave a knowing smile, leaned over, and kissed her forehead. "It’s your duty as Mrs. Grayson..."
"Duty..." After being kissed by Tristan, Mika’s heart fluttered. She blushed, gazing dazedly at the man before her.
"Mhm, duty. Alright, go to sleep now."
"Okay..." She nodded obediently, her eyelashes trembling as she closed her eyes.
After watching her for a long mont, Tristan Grayson finally looked away. He pulled his phone from his pocket. His handso brows furrowed slightly as he looked at the missed calls on the screen.
「Vespera Bar.」
Inside the VIP suite, a dozen or so won frantically writhed and swayed, performing a striptease.
Cassian Jennings swirled the wine in his glass, his wicked gaze fixed on the won.
"Master Jennings, you’d better stay out of this business with JessGia. The one who kidnapped her is the young master of the Joyce Family, Tridell’s Little Tyrant. We can’t afford to provoke him." His background was simply too powerful, not sothing second-generation rich kids like them could compete with.
Cassian Jennings took a sip of red wine, his voice turning cold. "You an that Leo Joyce?"
"Yeah, him. I hear his thods are vicious, so we really shouldn’t stick our necks out on this one." ’The guy wasn’t even out of college, yet he was single-handedly running the biggest entertainnt venue in all of Tridell...’
"Heh... Little Tyrant? I didn’t expect Alia Avery to know him too."
"Master Jennings, you didn’t know? At Crimson Blossom Academy, the Little Tyrant was Alia Avery’s little follower."
"Little follower?" The words had barely left Cassian Jennings’s mouth when the suite door was suddenly thrown open. He looked up and saw Tristan Grayson.
The man who had just been reporting to Cassian Jennings quickly stood up, offering his seat. "Young Master Grayson..."
"Have them all get out. I have sothing to discuss with Cassian Jennings."
"Yes, sir." The man quickly waved his hand, signaling for everyone to get dressed and leave.
Watching the people in the suite leave one after another, Cassian Jennings let out a self-deprecating laugh, then tilted his head back and downed the red wine in his glass.
Tristan Grayson sat on the sofa and said wearily, "This business with Gia Miller—let it end here."
"Impossible!" Cassian Jennings slamd his wine glass down, his voice sharp and firm as he replied.
"Then what do you plan to do? Really fall out with Aiden Avery over a Gia Miller? You’d throw away years of brotherhood for a woman, just like that?" ’Honestly, can’t anything just go my way for once?’
