Alia Avery sneered and let go of Tiana. She flexed her wrist and handed the car keys to Tiana. "You should go first."
"Alia..." Tiana shook her head in fear. ’How could I just leave Alia behind?’
"You want to play? Fine. I’ll play with you, but my friend has to leave."
Jonah Ross’s original target was Alia Avery, so he didn’t make things difficult for Tiana. Besides, he had plenty of ti to get his hands on that little beauty later.
So, with a cold expression, he nodded.
Alia Avery leaned close to Tiana’s ear and said just three words: "The high school!"
Hearing Alia’s words, Tiana’s eyes filled with surprise. She then watched as Alia left with those n.
She didn’t snap out of it until Alia and the n had disappeared from sight.
She hurried back toward the school.

「At that mont, in the Sumrs family ho, Caleb Grayson had arrived with Mae Lynch to apologize and formally propose marriage.」
Joseph Sumrs and his wife were finally a bit more at ease after learning that the other party was also a wealthy and influential family.
At least their daughter had good taste. As for the whole business of getting married in secret without their consent, they decided to let it slide for now.
They had a child now, anyway, so they could just happily hold a proper wedding ceremony to make it official.
Mika Sumrs sat next to Una Sullivan, her heart pounding with anxiety. ’Making a decision like this without Tristan’s consent... I don’t know if he’ll be angry.’
Watching them happily set a date, all she could do was sigh. There was nothing else she could do.
"Well, we’ll be on our way now."
Una Sullivan replied warmly, "Alright, travel safely. Mika, what are you spacing out for? Go see your mother-in-law out."
"Oh..."
Mika Sumrs stood up, but before she could take a step, Mae Lynch smiled and quickly waved her hands. "No, no, that’s not necessary. Mika, you stay here for a few days. We’ll have Tristan co pick you up when he gets back."
"Okay, I understand..."
Watching her father-in-law and mother-in-law leave, her expression soured. ’Should I tell Mom and Dad not to rush into setting a date? What if Tristan doesn’t agree?’
She clutched her phone, thought for a mont, and decided to call Tristan to ask.
Back in her room, she dialed the number and waited anxiously. The call connected after three or four rings.
Before she could speak, a very pleasant female voice ca through the line. "Hello?"
"—" Hearing that voice, she froze completely.
She didn’t know how to respond. Or rather, she wanted to hang up the phone, to escape from this woman’s voice...
"Are you looking for Tristan? He can’t co to the phone right now. If you have a ssage, you can just tell , and I’ll pass it along to him later," the woman’s soft, sweet voice continued.
Tears stread from the corners of Mika Sumrs’s eyes. Suppressing her true emotions, she said coldly, "That won’t be necessary."
"Oh... okay then..." the woman replied, her voice tinged with disappointnt and helplessness.
Mika Sumrs hung up, laughed self-deprecatingly, and tossed her phone onto the bed. ’I should have known. Calling him was just asking to be humiliated...’
On the other end of the line, Maggie Monroe held the phone, a triumphant smirk playing on her lips.
’It was a good thing I threw a fit and confiscated Tristan’s phone last ti. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have even known this bitch was trying to get her hooks into him.’
"Who was that on the phone just now?" Just then, Tristan Grayson walked over carrying a tray of food, glancing nonchalantly at the phone in Maggie’s hand.
Maggie Monroe shrugged, feigning exasperation. "Who else could it be? Just another shaless telemarketer."
Tristan Grayson frowned slightly. "A telemarketer?" He didn’t think anyone would be bold enough—or suicidal enough—to make a sales call to him.
