Jason Lockwood’s handso face darkened instantly. "Let go!"
"You asshole, why didn’t you catch !" Jasmine Warren had a death grip on him, absolutely refusing to let go.
’This asshole was the worst. He just stood there and watched her fall.’
Jason Lockwood had never found anything so ridiculous. He turned, a flippant glint in his handso eyes. His voice was icy as he sneered, "Heh... How absurd. Do I know you? Why on earth would I catch you?"
"Even if you don’t know , you still should have helped!"
"You’ve got so nerve, kid, saying that so self-righteously." Jason Lockwood sneered as he pried Jasmine Warren’s hands away.
"Who are you calling ’kid’? Who the fuck are you calling ’kid’?! Open your goddamn eyes and look closer! I’m a woman! A woman!"
"Oh? A woman?" Jason Lockwood said, feigning surprise. He looked Jasmine Warren up and down. "So, you’re a tomboy!"
"You’re asking for it!"
Jasmine Warren clenched her fist and swung at Jason Lockwood’s handso face. Jason shot a hand up and caught her fist. His voice was laced with nace as he snarled, "Tomboy, do you have any idea how priceless this face is? One punch from you, and you wouldn’t be able to afford the damages even if you went completely bankrupt and ruined your life."
Jasmine Warren’s face flushed beet red, but she refused to back down, retorting mockingly, "Oh, so you’re one of those plastic surgery guys. No wonder I found you so hard to look at."
"Plastic surgery guy? You, a tomboy, dare accuse of getting plastic surgery?"
"You are a plastic surgery guy! A plastic surgery guy!"
Jason Lockwood flung Jasmine Warren’s hand away and roared, "Tomboy! You’re asking for it!" ’He never hit won, but he’d never made any promises about not hitting tomboys!’
The force sent Jasmine Warren stumbling into the corner. She clutched her aching shoulder and shouted in a rage, "You plastic surgery freak, you dare hit ? Try hitting just once and see if I don’t tear that face of yours to shreds."
"—" Jason Lockwood fought to suppress the rage threatening to erupt, desperately trying to calm himself down. ’He hadn’t co to the hospital to argue with so nobody.’
His eyes turned icy as he advanced on Jasmine Warren. He glanced at the na tag on her uniform, and his lips curled into a sneer. "Jasmine Warren, is it? I’ll rember you, tomboy. Heh, you just wait. You can start planning your retirent."
"What the fuck is wrong with you! Who the hell do you think you are? Do you own this hospital?!" Jasmine was genuinely terrified by the man’s words, but she had never been the type to admit defeat to soone’s face.
Even if she was often scared to death later...
"This hospital isn’t mine, no," Jason Lockwood said, straightening his collar and rolling up his sleeves with a cold smile. "But I’m quite confident I can make a piece of low-class trash like you disappear."
"You son of a bitch, I’ll kill you!" Whether his threat was real or not, Jasmine Warren was thoroughly enraged by the asshole’s words.
She threw up her hands and charged at him.
Jason sidestepped her and headed down the stairs.
Jasmine Warren lunged at nothing but air and, with another loud SMACK, fell hard onto the floor.
This ti, the fall was much worse. The pain was so bad she couldn’t help but start wailing.
「Inside the hospital room.」
The mont Tristan Grayson returned to his room, he saw the woman sitting by his bed.
He frowned in displeasure. "What are you doing here?"
Maggie Monroe looked up with tear-filled eyes and said pitifully, "Tristan, I heard you were hurt. I was so worried about you, so I ca to see you."
Tristan Grayson shot her a cold glance. "I’m fine. You can go."
"Tristan, I was wrong. I was so wrong. Can you please take back what you said? I don’t want anything... I don’t want anything at all..."
