At that thought, Cassian Jennings could no longer just let her be. He slamd his glass down on the bar and strode toward Alia Avery.
The mont he entered the private room, he ignored everyone’s shocked reactions, hoisted Alia Avery over his shoulder, and walked out.
Alia Avery struggled nonstop. "Cassian Jennings, what are you doing?! Put down!"
"Shut up!" Cassian Jennings’s face was grim as he barked the cold order.
"Cassian Jennings, you bastard, what are you doing? Fucking put down right now!"
"If you’re so capable, get down yourself!" ’He was never going to put her down. Not a chance.’
Hearing Cassian Jennings’s words, Alia Avery stopped struggling. Instead, her lips curled into a calm and nacing smile. "Cassian Jennings, you’d better not put down. Otherwise, I won’t let you get away with this!"

Cassian Jennings’s face was dark as he carried her all the way out of Vespera. He walked to his sports car, opened the door, and unceremoniously shoved her inside.
Alia Avery sat up straight in a huff, brushing her hair back with one hand. She glared viciously at Cassian Jennings. "Cassian Jennings, I told you. If you dared to put down, I wouldn’t let you get away with this!" And she ant what she said. She truly wouldn’t let him off the hook, nor did she plan to.

"Heh... And how exactly will you not let get away with this?" Cassian Jennings’s handso eyebrows raised slightly, a roguish and unconcerned smile on his face.
"Like this!" Alia Avery leaned up slightly, her hand shooting out to grab Cassian Jennings’s collar, her aim true...
Before Cassian Jennings could react, she was already out of the car, her arms wrapped tightly around him.
Cassian Jennings froze. He felt as if ti itself had stopped in that instant. More than surprise, he felt a flustered panic, completely unsure of what to do...
He knew he should push this woman away, but he couldn’t move. Even his heart was pounding uncontrollably in his chest.
All of it... It was all so deeply intoxicating...
Cassian Jennings had never been one to deny himself anything. Besides, he couldn’t even count how many tis he had thought about the woman in his arms.
He knew he was being a bastard, but he was powerless to refuse.
「Anhurst Hospital, in the third-floor corridor.」
It had been over ten hours since she went into the operating room. For those ten hours, he felt a tornt like he was desperately struggling in hell.
Just then, Mae Lynch and Caleb Grayson arrived. The mont Mae Lynch saw Tristan Grayson, she burst into tears. "How could this happen? How? How could Mika have gotten into a car accident?"
"I will get to the bottom of this."

Tristan Grayson’s expression was grim as he glanced at the operating room doors. He spoke again, "Dad, Mom, I’ll have to trouble you with Mika Sumrs. If she gets out, rember to call imdiately."
Caleb Grayson frowned. "Your mother and I are here. You can go without worrying."
Tristan Grayson nodded, his gaze darkening as he looked one last ti at the operating room, then turned and left.
He hadn’t wanted to get too involved in Archie Sumrs’s affairs. Finding and rescuing Archie should have been enough; the rest had little to do with him.
But they had hard his woman. For that, they would have to pay the price!
As he walked out the main entrance of the hospital, Sheldon Rhodes ca up to greet him. "Young Master!"
"Send people to the scene of the accident and look around. We can’t let Jason Lockwood find the computer first."
