In an instant, all the controversy was once again directed at the Jennings Family.
Tristan Grayson held the newspaper, a complex expression in his eyes.

Jessica Archer glanced at Silas Kent, who looked displeased, then turned her gaze to Mika Sumrs. After a mont of hesitation, she finally spoke. "President Sumrs, the heads of the branch companies want to hold a welco party for you tomorrow morning. Will you be attending?"
Mika Sumrs looked up from her docunts, glancing coldly at Silas Kent. "I won’t be attending such boring gatherings. If they insist on having soone, it would be most appropriate to invite Mr. Kent."
Feeling uneasy, Jessica Archer asked in a low voice, "Mr. Kent, will you be attending?"
"If President Sumrs doesn’t go, I won’t go. If she goes, I’ll go," Silas Kent said coldly, without even sparing Jessica Archer a glance.
Jessica Archer’s expression soured. She looked at Mika Sumrs again. "President Sumrs, it would be best if you t with them."
Mika Sumrs tossed her pen onto the desk and stood up. "Mr. Kent, what do you think?"
"Those old foxes are definitely up to no good, but there’s no harm in eting them," Silas Kent said, raising a handso eyebrow with a roguish smile.
Mika Sumrs nodded. "Alright. Jessica, please make the arrangents."
"Yes, ma’am."
Watching Jessica Archer leave, Mika Sumrs frowned slightly. It wasn’t that she was afraid of eting the branch heads; she just didn’t want to see Tristan Grayson.
After what had happened with Tristan Grayson last night, she felt a sliver of fear.
She didn’t dare to face him directly. She had even snuck out of the house before dawn just to avoid him.
From the mont Jessica Archer left, Silas Kent’s eyes never left Mika Sumrs.
