Mika Sumrs’s words only deepened the darkness in Silas Kent’s eyes. When he looked at Second Master Joyce, he wanted nothing more than to chop him to pieces.
He strode over to Aria Joyce and sneered, "The Joyce Family? A cri family? Four generations of ancestors—oh, counting yours, that makes five—all involved in organized cri? But Miss Joyce, there’s always a bigger fish. Don’t get the idea that your family can run the world."
"Who are you?" It was true that the Joyce Family was a cri family, but no one had ever dared to say it to their faces like this.
This man suddenly put Aria Joyce on high alert.
"Miss Joyce, why don’t you make a call? Ask your father if he recognizes the na of the Kent Family’s patriarch, Arthur Kent. I am the family’s next head, Silas Kent."
Aria Joyce stared at the man before her in shock.
’The patriarch of the Kent Family? Arthur Kent? She’d never heard of Silas Kent, but she had heard of Arthur Kent. They were just like the Joyce Family.’

Seeing how furious Aria Joyce was, Second Master Joyce could only swallow his own anger. After all, he had no status in the family, and his words carried no authority.

Seeing Aria Joyce leave, Silas Kent shot Tristan Grayson an angry look. "Can you let go of her now?"
His words snapped Mika Sumrs back to her senses. Only then did she realize Tristan Grayson was still holding her, and she quickly pushed him away.
Tristan Grayson gave a bitter smile and said in a low voice, "Let’s go ho."
At the ntion of going ho, Mika Sumrs suddenly rembered sothing. "What about Kiki?" ’She was here, and so was Tristan Grayson... so where was Kiki?’
The re thought of Kiki being ho alone was enough to make her furious.
"He’s at ho," Tristan Grayson answered in a low voice, his brow furrowed.
"It’s the middle of the night! What are you doing out here instead of staying ho with him!" Mika Sumrs fud, then spun around and said urgently to Silas Kent, "Silas, I caused you a lot of trouble today, but I have to ask for one more favor. Please make sure my sister-in-law gets ho safe." As she spoke, she pulled Eleanor Bishop forward.
When Silas Kent saw Eleanor Bishop, his brow furrowed in displeasure. "Fine," he answered coldly.
Seeing that Silas had agreed, Mika Sumrs gave Eleanor Bishop an apologetic look. "Sister-in-law, I don’t think you’ll be able to work here anymore. But don’t worry, he’ll take care of finding you a job. He has plenty of openings."
Listening to Mika Sumrs, Silas Kent’s mouth twitched. ’He wanted to tell her he didn’t have any openings. Not a single one.’
But by then, Mika Sumrs was already dragging Tristan Grayson away...
