Mika Sumrs tried her best to steady her nerves and not let her emotions show. A faint smile touched her lips as she spoke first. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I’m fine. And you? Are you alright?" Tristan Grayson clenched his left hand slightly and forced a smile as he nodded.
"I’m great."
Hearing her words, Tristan’s gaze softened as he murmured, "That’s good."
A pang of pain shot through Mika Sumrs’s heart. She gave a bitter smile and lowered her head, only to inadvertently see Tristan Grayson’s hand. It was wrapped in gauze. Her delicate brows furrowed. Looking up, she asked with concern, "What happened to your hand? What’s going on?"
"It’s nothing. I just had sothing heavy fall on it a while ago, so it’s still not very flexible," Tristan Grayson said, smiling and lifting his hand as if it were no big deal.
"Sothing heavy fell on it?" Mika Sumrs said, completely shocked.
"Yeah. When you’re filming, accidents are bound to happen. It’s normal."
"Oh..."
Seeing Mika Sumrs’s distracted expression, Tristan Grayson’s handso brows knitted slightly. He covered his mouth and coughed twice, then asked with a smile, "So, you were on your way to...?"
"Silas was in a car accident. He hasn’t woken up yet, so I wanted to ask the doctor when he might wake up."
Tristan Grayson’s expression imdiately darkened. "Silas Kent was in a car accident?"
"Mhm."
"When did it happen?"
Mika Sumrs frowned. "It happened that night. At the sa ti as our incident. Why?"
"It’s nothing. Have you been with him these past few days?" A hint of sadness entered Tristan Grayson’s eyes as he shook his head slightly and spoke in a low voice.
"Mhm..."
Hearing Mika Sumrs’s confirmation, a sharp pang of bitterness went through Tristan Grayson’s heart. He said coldly, "You should go find the doctor."
"Oh." Seeing Tristan Grayson’s impatient expression, Mika Sumrs gave a self-deprecating smile, uttered a cold acknowledgnt, and strode right past him.
