"That’s right, I don’t understand. But I do understand one thing: Tristan Grayson doesn’t owe you anything." As he spoke, Ian Shaw picked up the file from the desk and walked toward Mika Sumrs.
"This is the file from the investigation. After you disappeared, Tristan Grayson had searching for you for more than two years."
Listening to Ian Shaw and staring at the file before her, Mika Sumrs unclenched her fist and took it, her eyes filled with a storm of emotions.
She didn’t open it. She just stood there, stunned, as the ache in her heart intensified.
’So what if he looked for ? Does that an I have to forgive him? And then gratefully cling to him again?’
Seeing her stand motionless, Ian Shaw sneered, "Miss Sumrs, you think this isn’t enough?"
"Mr. Shaw, if you’re only here to tell this, there’s no need. For Tristan Grayson and ... there’s no going back."
"Heh. You won are truly heartless." Ian Shaw let out a cold laugh and turned to pick up another file from the desk. "I think you’ve forgotten sothing. You ca begging Tristan Grayson to save your brother, didn’t you? And now you two, brother and sister, are just going to turn your backs on him and pretend it never happened, is that right? Your brother drove the company into this god-awful ss. And you? When you ran out of the hospital to kill yourself, he chased after you, got into a car accident, and nearly died. Yet you seem to think that’s all just the retribution he deserved."
"What did you say?" ’A car accident? He got into a car accident chasing after ?’
"Miss Sumrs, if you don’t believe , you can see for yourself. This has the surveillance footage from the accident. Miss Sumrs, I’m not telling you this because I want you and Tristan Grayson to get back together. I’m telling you because I hope things between you two can finally be over. You were gone for so many years. Why co back? Why appear before Tristan Grayson again, just to hurt him?"
The revelation from Ian Shaw was so shocking, it made her tremble...

Her hands trembled as she took the file.
"And there’s one more thing... that I think you should know, Miss Sumrs..."
"Originally, with another year or so of treatnt, Tristan Grayson’s hand could have recovered its forr dexterity. But because of what happened this ti, his hand is completely ruined. He’ll never be able to lift things with it again. He might even have trouble just holding sothing."
Mika raised a hand to her mouth, her head bowed, and began to sob, her cries choked with grief.
"Miss Sumrs, I imagine you don’t know why his hand is the way it is now. Have you forgotten? You once tried to kill yourself with a gun. Did you really think the bullet wouldn’t go into your head? If Tristan Grayson hadn’t put his hand up to block it for you, would you even be standing here today?"
"Stop talking... please, stop..." ’Why tell all this? Why...’
"Miss Sumrs, I don’t care if you hate him or if you can’t forget him. I want you to disappear, starting today! For the rest of your life, never show your face in front of Tristan Grayson again."
Mika jerked her head up, her tear-filled eyes staring at Ian Shaw...

"This is better for you, and for him. Since this relationship has caused too much pain and there’s no going back, then I don’t see any reason for you two to continue this entanglent. Don’t you agree, Miss Sumrs?"
