For a long, long ti, Tristan Grayson held her. He only let go when the woman in his arms, her face flushed red, went limp against him.
Seeing no sign of Chase Sinclair, a smug smile touched his lips. In high spirits, he turned, wrapped an arm around the woman in his embrace, and walked toward the mall entrance.

At the thought, a self-deprecating smile touched her lips. ’I have to admit,’ she thought, ’Tristan Grayson’s performance just now was incredible. Even I got swept up in it.’
Even now, her heart couldn’t calm down from that kiss.
Beside her, Tristan Grayson didn’t notice the complicated thoughts running through her mind.
He was in an excellent mood the entire way.
He was in such a good mood, in fact, that when Henry Archer drove past a restaurant, he graciously told him to stop.
He got out, walked over to her door, opened it, and bent down, inviting her out like a gentleman.
Mika Sumrs frowned but placed her hand in his and stepped out of the car.
She turned to him, asking in a confused whisper, "What are you doing? Aren’t we supposed to be eting my parents?"
"We’re eating. I’d rather not listen to a certain soone’s stomach growling the entire way."
’A certain soone’s stomach growling?’ Upon hearing that, Mika Sumrs’s face instantly flushed red. ’So he heard it after all.’
But when she looked up at the restaurant in front of them, her brow furrowed with worry.
It was just a simple, ordinary, mid-sized restaurant.
’Is Tristan Grayson really planning on taking here to eat?’
Tristan Grayson pulled her into the restaurant. He chose a table by the window and led her toward it.
They had just sat down when an older woman in an apron ca over with nus. "What can I get for you two?" she asked warmly, handing a nu to each of them.
Mika Sumrs glanced at the nu. It was all very standard, ho-style cooking. She wondered if Tristan Grayson would be able to stomach it.
She felt a knot of anxiety in her stomach, afraid that Tristan would get angry and storm out after seeing the nu.
"What are you looking at for? Just order what you want to eat!" Tristan Grayson looked up and glared at her, annoyed.
Seeing that he was about to lose his temper, she quickly put the nu down and said to the woman, "Oh, I’ll just have the egg fried rice, please."
"Alright. And what would you like, sir?"
"I’ll have the sa as her," Tristan Grayson said nonchalantly, also setting his nu down.
"You got it." The woman nodded, collected their nus, and left with a smile.
Mika Sumrs sat nervously across from Tristan Grayson. They had never once eaten a al together like this, just the two of them at a table. Because of that, her heart was thumping with anxiety.
Tristan Grayson felt uncomfortable being stared at by Mika Sumrs. Feigning a relaxed air, he picked up the teapot on the table to pour a cup of water. Swirling it gently, he spoke in a light, teasing tone, "Miss Sumrs, even if your husband is handso, you don’t have to stare at him constantly."
