"Over here... are the student representatives from our first and second year."
Ji Ming stepped forward, leading the TV station reporter and introducing the basic situation of each student.
His tone was enthusiastic, although his expression was slightly stiff.
This job should have been done by Old Liu, but he had injured an arm and was taken away by the leader as a buff.
Ugh! So shaless.
In total, there were two students from the first and second year. Jiang Nian glanced over and saw that the first-year representative was a boy wearing glasses.
Probably the top student of the grade.
The female reporter doing the interview looked very young, with childlike features and a simple jacket.
She smiled sweetly, "Let's start with the first-year kid."
"Huh?"
"Or maybe the third-year stu..." The boy couldn't bring himself to look directly at the older sister and stamred as he spoke.
The female reporter turned her head to look at the three of them, including Jiang Nian.
"How about you guys..."
Jiang Nian, who was used to hanging out with teachers, was immune to the older sister buff, and said with a grin.
"Let's let the first-year kid go first, we third-years will take notes."
The female reporter, apparently not wanting to complicate things, went ahead and interviewed the representatives from the first and second year instead.
"Student, what are your thoughts on the sixtieth anniversary of your alma mater?"
"Zhenan Middle School is..."
The first and second-year students were clearly very nervous. Their voices were trembling, but at least they didn't forget their lines.
The draft was long and boring, and Jiang Nian couldn't be bothered to listen, so he turned to tease Cai Xiaoqing.
"Don't ss up later, losing to a first-year."
Hearing this, Cai Xiaoqing could obviously tell he was being sarcastic and gave him a light hit, mumbling.
"Worry about yourself first."
"I don't need a script, I'll just answer whatever," Jiang Nian said, "Anyway, they won't edit out my segnt."
Cai Xiaoqing was curious and couldn't help but ask.
"Why?"
Jiang Nian grinned, holding up eight fingers.
"Because I'm handso, man."
Cai Xiaoqing: "..."
A mont later, the female reporter walked over and politely asked, "Are you ready?"
The three of them looked around and nodded.
"Ahem." Xu Shuang lowered her voice and nudged him, "What did they just ask?"
Jiang Nian was also puzzled, "Mumbled sothing, I didn't catch it."
The young female reporter seed more confident after her practice run and wanted to try interviewing all three of them together.
"Students, what are your thoughts on the future of your alma mater?"
Cai Xiaoqing: "Better and better."
"And you?"
Jiang Nian: "Grow big and strong."
The microphone moved towards Xu Shuang. The girl was a bit flushed; the other two had taken all the words.
"Very good."
"With the college entrance exam approaching, do you have any fun and relaxing ways to relieve stress?"
Xu Shuang: "Drinking tea."
Cai Xiaoqing: "Playing gas."
Jiang Nian held back for a mont, then said with a smile.
"Watching movies."
The female reporter, unfazed, found their answers too ordinary and threw in an additional question.
"After the college entrance exam, who from your alma mater will you miss?"
Cai Xiaoqing: "My classmates."
Xu Shuang: "Horoom teacher."
Jiang Nian waved his hand: "I feel like I can't say it all in half a minute, well, it's quite a few people."
The female reporter was montarily taken aback and asked.
"So nostalgic?"
Not really.
"Yeah, high school is like a hastily written book. By the ti you realize it's almost finished, it's impossible to turn back."
Jiang Nian blurted out, then thought to himself. No one really misses high school; they just miss their high school friends.
Also, he felt the end was near.
It's hard not to feel sentintal.
Just kidding, it's not that you can't turn back, there was never a headstart.
.....
After the interview ended.
The three of them walked downstairs together, suddenly feeling the surroundings were a bit quiet, and couldn't help but turn to look.
"Hmm?"
"Why do you guys have that expression?"
Cai Xiaoqing sighed, "You made us a bit lancholic, I didn't expect you to be so deep in emotion."
Co on.
As they say, when a man is about to die, his words are kind.
Isn't it infectious?
"Just kidding," Jiang Nian waved, "Probably won't even air, they might not keep even a second."
Hearing this, Cai Xiaoqing nodded in agreent.
"Indeed."
Xu Shuang was actually not in high spirits either, but didn't show it. She turned to Jiang Nian, her voice gentle.
"After graduation, you can still co back for a visit."
"Not visiting."
"Huh?" Xu Shuang was baffled, thinking why he says one thing and does another, "Why not?"
Jiang Nian said, "No entry for non-school personnel and dogs."
Xu Shuang: "...."
Both girls were speechless, yet Jiang Nian felt relieved. He strolled back to class three quietly.
Just in ti for the third period break.
As soon as he walked in, he saw Li Hua kneading a stead bun and couldn't help but be puzzled, patting the big guy on the back.
"Such a giant bun, where did you get it?"
"Picked it up."
Jiang Nian: "??? "
"Oh, Sun Zhicheng was going to throw it away," Li Hua said, "I thought it was a waste, so I took it to play with."
"You're the man." Jiang Nian glanced at it and intended to leave imdiately, "Still going to gym class later?"
"There's a math pop quiz."
Jiang Nian predicted it, cursing in his heart.
"Alright then."
During the fourth period, the exam papers were distributed with a rustle.
Zhang Ningzhi, acting nonchalant, glanced at Jiang Nian out of the corner of her eye, wondering whether to say sothing.
Wanting to ask if the interview went well?
But, afraid of being asked in return...
"Has it arrived yet?"
Jiang Nian turned his head, still thinking about it. He rembered Zhang Ningzhi had ntioned the clothes she bought were arriving today.
He could forget anything, but not this.
"No... haven't picked them up." Zhang Ningzhi turned her head, her voice barely audible, "This afternoon..."
Hearing this, Jiang Nian thought it was bad news.
He thought Zhizhi might have changed her mind, getting them in the afternoon could easily an delaying until tomorrow.
"This afternoon? I have supplentary classes."
Taking a step back to move forward, he offered to discuss it next ti. anwhile, he observed Zhizhi's reaction.
