Jiang Nian originally wanted to sneak out during night study to go to the gym for a bit. Not for any reason, just because it was a right he fought for, and it’s ti-limited.
The validity of this privilege totally depends on how long the bastard can stay in class. If he packs up and leaves by the end of the month, this noon agreent will be nullified too.
If not the gym, a stroll to the milk tea shop for a nap wouldn’t be bad either.

Xu Qianqian glared at him, "Crazy, what boyfriend."

Jiang Nian clicked his tongue, "Geez, so kids’ eyesight is really bad, they can even like you."
Xu Qianqian ignored him, staying silent until they left the school. Jiang Nian strolled leisurely, almost forgetting about that matter when.
She suddenly said, "I asked him if he had seen ’Orphan’. He said he did, so I told him I’m actually thirty-four and had a child at fifteen."
Hearing this, Jiang Nian’s smile vanished.
"He didn’t believe , so I could only tell him..." Xu Qianqian turned her head to look at Jiang Nian, "I told him, look, there’s my son, his grades are poor, I’m just here to accompany him at school."

Jiang Nian also wasn’t a saint, sighing.
"Alright then, just as well, I’m hungry, let’s eat sothing good."

Jiang Nian, exhausted, fell back onto his bed, thunder booming outside, torrents of rain crashing against the window. At this mont, he only wanted to breathe, suffocated by that feeling.

"You really have such a deskmate?" Old Xu was amused.

"Why are you asking? You seem pretty healthy." Old Xu laughed as he carried a briefcase down the stairs, "Just practice those legs more when you’re free."
Trailing behind, Xu Qianqian bit her lip, wishing she could be far away from these two.
Downstairs, outside was a blur, dark clouds hanging low in the distance. Raindrops as large as beans, mixed with slanting wind, stretched densely across the whole county.
With a bang, from above, three umbrellas opened in the rain. The Buick flashed its headlights twice in the downpour, emitting a sharp honk.
Inside the car, the air conditioning wasn’t needed. Xu Qianqian opened a slim slit in the window, letting in a chill from outside, which brought a fresh cool to the interior.
Jiang Nian glanced at her, noticing she was wearing a thin white school jacket today. Underneath was a plain white long-sleeve, her chest sowhat bulging.
With a zip, she pulled up the zipper.
Her lower body wore light blue jeans, wrapping around her shapely calves, revealing a fair ankle paired with white sneakers.
She really loved white.
Her fair skin indeed made her look good in anything.
Where they lived wasn’t far from school, just a few minutes’ drive away. The Buick navigated through the heavy rain, its headlights blinking on and off, cutting through the rainy haze.
Jiang Nian seed to have thought of sothing, suddenly saying in the car.
"Uncle Xu, yesterday Xu Qianqian said she..."
Beside him, Xu Qianqian instantly felt a creepy shiver, her pupils nearly shrinking to a pin. She lunged at him, pinning Jiang Nian in the back seat.
Covering his mouth, gritting her teeth she said.
"Don’t spread rumors, or I’ll beat you to death!"
"Mmm, mmm..."
Old Xu, driving, chuckled and didn’t take their scuffle to heart. Seeing the school was nearby, he reminded them through the rearview mirror.
"Almost there, get ready to get off."
Xu Qianqian still wanted to say sothing when she suddenly felt a warmth on her palm covering Jiang Nian’s mouth. As if sothing licked her, goosebumps shot up her entire body.
Just so happened to be in her own dad’s car, she didn’t dare react.
Jiang Nian smiled smugly.
After getting off, Xu Qianqian opened an umbrella and hurriedly walked a bit ahead in the rain, putting so distance between her and Jiang Nian. Then she turned around and raised her little fist.
The threat was obvious.
Because of the torrential rain, there weren’t many people in the class before morning reading.
As Jiang Nian entered the classroom, he saw Zhang Ningzhi heading out with a cup. His face looked a bit pale, lips lacking color, appearing unwell.
"What’s up with you?" he stopped and asked, "You look so unwell."
"Noth... nothing, maybe it’s just a bit cold from the rain." Zhang Ningzhi blushed.
