"Is this Jiang Nian’s desk?"
Li Hua walked closer, wanting to flip through the books on Jiang Nian’s desk to see the na, but couldn’t bring himself to ruin such an artistic scene.
A strong sense of panic rose from the bottom of Li Hua’s heart.
There was already a mildly clean-freak Wu Jungu in the group, and he didn’t want another clean guy to appear in the group.
Because, it would make him look very weak.
"Yo, you’re here so early?" Ma Guojun arrived late, patting him on the back, "What are you daydreaming about, spaced out like Lu Duanpian?"
"Look at this!" Li Hua pointed like an immortal.
"Hmm?" Ma Guojun was instantly as if he had seen a ghost, frowning for a mont, "It’s over, Jiang Nian must be possessed."
"What are you looking at?" Jiang Nian ca back from the restroom and asked, leaning in.
Upon hearing him, the two of them turned their heads to look at him.
"Who helped you tidy up?"
"I did it myself." Jiang Nian leaned back theatrically, feeling completely satisfied, "How is it? Give a review."
"Not bad."
"Chi Shi, average."
Jiang Nian wasn’t too concerned with this.
Tidying up this neatly wasn’t for these two to see. Neatness and organizational skills will attract the likes of rich and elegant young ladies.
"You’re back." Zhang Ningzhi ca over, just about to sit down, "At noon... huh? Did you clean this up?"
Zhizhi’s eyes twinkled like she found a new land.
"Mm."
"Impressive." Zhang Ningzhi couldn’t help but take a few more glances, feeling a harmonious beauty, a blessing for those with OCD, "How did you do it?"
Like having a cheat code.
"It was a spur of the mont, I’ve always been like this." Jiang Nian smirked slightly, "I’ve just been busy with studies."
She really wanted to ask Jiang Nian to help her tidy up her room. But then, realizing it would make her room seem less tidy, she decided against it and nodded sullenly.
"Your room must be very clean, right?"
"Indeed, I even have a cat that can backflip." Jiang Nian bragged, "I’m a bit OCD myself."
"You have a cat at ho?" Zhang Ningzhi was filled with anticipation.
"Doraemon, the robot cat."
Zhang Ningzhi: "..."
A while later, Li Qingrong arrived.
She glanced down at Jiang Nian and then at his desk. There was no surprise in her eyes, rather, she was quite unaffected.
Or perhaps, she didn’t really care.
Jiang Nian turned to look at her twice and couldn’t help but ask,
"Don’t you have anything you want to ask?"
Li Qingrong stared at him for two seconds, finally speaking,
"Did you finish the test paper handed out in the morning?"
Upon hearing this, Jiang Nian couldn’t help but stop smiling. His expression first went blank, then turned horrified as he looked to Zhang Ningzhi.
"Was there a paper handed out?"
"Yes, I forgot to tell you." Zhang Ningzhi said, "I’ve put them all in the drawer, didn’t you see them?"
Jiang Nian couldn’t laugh anymore, he had to sort through his papers.
Li Qingrong saw him miserably searching for the test papers, and her lips curled slightly. When he looked over, she nonchalantly pressed her lips to a straight line.
The afternoon’s classes were dull.
Jiang Nian stealthily worked on his papers while listening to the lecture. He noticed that his newfound harmony skills even subtly affected his sense of aesthetics.
Looking at Qingbao on the podium, the outfit coordination was... quite nice.
But he had better ideas.
Then, Qingbao called on the daydreaming Jiang Nian to answer a question.
Jiang Nian: "..."
Damn, what a useless skill.
If this continues, it’s easy to beco OCD. Better to focus the skills on himself, otherwise, it would be too disruptive to his studies.
Well... maybe use it occasionally.
After school in the afternoon, Jiang Nian didn’t go anywhere. He stayed in the classroom working on his papers until it was almost ti for class, then he rushed to eat.
He returned to the classroom just in ti, looking up at the lit-up senior high school building. He couldn’t help but feel so emotions, finally, he could legally drive.
BYD, an experienced driver can navigate any road.
Just wondering if there was a license or not?
Jiang Nian went upstairs, pondering when he could go for a drive.
Buying a car wouldn’t be cost-effective, and renting a car requires sharp eyes.
Locals are afraid of nothing, but encountering this would still bring bad luck. Seeing you’re a student, they’d play tricks on you like you’re from Japan.
On the first floor, passing by the English office.
Jiang Nian lingered for a mont at the door, seeing Qianbao inside. He walked straight in and began to chat aimlessly.
Qianbao was originally revising the teaching plan; seeing Jiang Nian co in, she couldn’t help but feel puzzled.
"How do you have ti to co to my place?"
Upon hearing her, Jiang Nian imdiately understood that the old woman didn’t know he had gotten his driver’s license, and he couldn’t help but feel amused.
"Nothing much, I just enjoy chatting with teachers."
Qianbao imdiately rolled her eyes, thinking that if she hadn’t seen him running to the science office frequently, maybe she would have believed him.
"Cut it out."
Just then the bell rang, Jiang Nian also had no intention of lingering. He exchanged a few idle words and then made a move to leave.
After a few steps, sothing dropped to the ground with a thud.
"Hmm?" Qianbao’s attention was caught, and she subconsciously called out to Jiang Nian, "Hey, wait a minute, don’t you know you dropped sothing?"
Jiang Nian ignored as if he hadn’t heard, reaching the office door before turning back.
"Huh?"
"You dropped sothing."
"No, I didn’t lose anything."
"You..." Qianbao was speechless, standing up to squat elegantly, "I saw it with my own eyes, wasn’t it just you who dropped the... "
"....driver’s license?"
In a split second, Qianbao’s vision went dark.
"Jiang Nian, are you even human!"
...
Just entering the classroom.
Jiang Nian saw the class monitor and Cai Xiaoqing discussing sothing together, and couldn’t help but be curious about what they were talking about.
Everyone knew Li Qingrong was lazy.
Like a mascot not showing up for two years. But when sothing couldn’t be decided, Cai Xiaoqing still had to discuss it with her.
That wasn’t the focus, the focus was that the class monitor really could handle matters.
It’s like soone going offline for a year, the ga version updated countless tis, but once they started, they were back in full control.
"What are you guys talking about?" Jiang Nian joined in.
A triangular formation, tending towards stability.
Li Qingrong glanced at him, then looked away. Jiang Nian sensed a hint of speechlessness, thinking Qingqing had gone rogue.
Won can really turn bad quickly, they don’t even need anyone to teach them.
Forget it, for now, endure disgrace and bear the burden.
Cai Xiaoqing also glanced at him, paused, and proactively explained.
"Talking about the New Year’s Arts Gala."
"When?"
"The day after tomorrow," Cai Xiaoqing said, "This ti it’s starting in the afternoon, the grade leaders asked class officers to keep the students in check."
Upon hearing that, Jiang Nian instantly rembered.
Old Liu seed to have ntioned it, but he’s always mumbling. It sounds nagging, so Jiang Nian didn’t really pay attention.
On top of that, Class Three didn’t register a performance.
So...
Jiang Nian stood in the middle, appearing to listen to them speak. Cai Xiaoqing tried to start three tis, but couldn’t continue.
"Do you insist on listening?" Cai Xiaoqing asked.
"Aren’t I from Class Three?" Jiang Nian had a bit of a cheeky expression, "Go on, I won’t interrupt you."
"Well....." Cai Xiaoqing still couldn’t say it.
Li Qingrong glanced at Jiang Nian, stared at him for a few seconds. Only then did he restrain himself, quietly turned around and left.
"..."
Jiang Nian returned to his seat, feeling a bit neurotic.
"Hello, hello."
Bang!
Soone imdiately took a heavy hit, this ti there was not even an apologetic essay, could only lie on the table and groan.
Zhang Ningzhi glared at him in sha and anger, her gaze seed capable of devouring people.
"Copycat!"
Jiang Nian turned his head on the desk, face against the surface looking sideways.
"I was just saying hi normally."
"No way, you did it on purpose!" Zhang Ningzhi puffed her cheeks angrily, gave him another hit, "You’re horrible, making fun of on purpose!"
Li Hua in the sa row smiled cheekily, joining in on the fun.
"Certainly, this guy is bad to the core."
Jiang Nian turned to look at Li Hua, didn’t say anything. Raised his hand making an "eight" gesture, waving repeatedly.
"Where did that dog bark co from?"
"Chi Shi!" Li Hua was speechless, then angry, "Anyway the provincial joint exam is close, you scumbag just wait and see."
Jiang Nian, hearing this, was already chuckling ahead of ti.
"Tsk."
During evening self-study, the classroom was quiet.
Lin Dong was still imrsed in the joy of counting money, occasionally glancing at his account balance, his face almost splitting from the grin.
byd, this was truly a rry Christmas Eve.
He decided to buy a set of clothes for his parents, purely joking. He wanted to keep it for himself, spend it all on himself.
Not yet at the age to be filial, should go all out spending gold coins instead.
Turned his head, saw his tablemate with a gloomy face.
"What’s up with you, Acheng?"
"Nothing, just a bit..." Sun Zhicheng sighed, a chocolate-made apple was finished by him alone.
Late at night, ate until he cried.
Damn it’s bitter.
Sotis one wrong step leads to another, now he feels life is really unpredictable, looking back it feels like a ss.
If at that ti, he hadn’t done so many silly things, it would’ve been nice.
Lin Dong didn’t give it much thought, considering he had money now. Being soone with a bit of status, indeed should treat people around him better.
He thought about it, patted Sun Zhicheng on the shoulder and said.
"Acheng, don’t be unhappy."
"I’ll treat you to snacks."
Upon hearing this, Sun Zhicheng’s heart ward a bit. Rembered back then when his mood was wavering, it was always Lin Dong who helped him.
"Thanks, Brother Dong."
"Between brothers, no need to say these things." Lin Dong pulled out a handful of stuff from the drawer, "Co on, I’ll treat you to Dove chocolate."
"Ugh!!"
"Damn it, who’s about to puke?" Li Hua turned his head to look back, only to see Lao Sun stuttering, running towards the back door like Lin Daiyu.
"Maybe..... a cold?" Jiang Nian remarked casually, "Flu always hits at the end of the year, if you catch it don’t co."
"Then how do you attend classes?" Li Hua sneered.
Jiang Nian had a quick idea, ca up with a plan.
"I’ll make you a photo, place it on your desk. The teacher will rember you when they see it, classmates can also reminisce."
"Chi Shi Chi Shi!!" Li Hua couldn’t hold back, cursed out loud, "Placing your sister’s photo, does this count as reminiscing?"
Jiang Nian thought about it, replied seriously.
"I don’t have a sister, but you seem to have one."
Li Hua: "...."
After the second evening self-study.
Jiang Nian balanced work and rest, went outside the classroom to get so air. Originally planned to head downstairs, show Qingbao his amazing organizing skills.
But then thought, at this late hour. Probably not many people in the integrated science office, best not to trouble Qingbao.
So he gave up.
"Hey, can I ask you sothing?" Yu Zhiyi approached, smiling, "Help sign in for the Arts Gala the day after tomorrow."
Jiang Nian: "Hm?"
"There will be roll call, but I have plans." Yu Zhiyi said shyly, "Liu Yang is easy to handle, but the key is difficult to pass."
"Oh, what does it have to do with ?" Jiang Nian glanced at her, "Are you planning to sneak off campus? Or go on a date?"
"If I go missing, won’t I end up with you?"
"Scram, scram!" Yu Zhiyi was speechless, "I’m not on a date, just going back to the dorm to drink with girls from the class next door."
"The class next door doesn’t care?" Jiang Nian asked curiously.
"More relaxed."
"Oh oh, I see." Jiang Nian nodded, turned to her, "Alright then, since that’s the case, go find soone else."
"Okay, thank you." Yu Zhiyi heard mixed ssages, half-spoke without giggling, "Wait, are you that petty?"
"Calling a demon?" Jiang Nian quipped.
"Speechless, you’re really...." Yu Zhiyi fud.
"When you’re at a loss for words, read more books, kid." Jiang Nian turned to leave, "Life is long, learn and grow old."
"You 2:1." Yu Zhiyi felt embarrassed.
However, Jiang Nian left without looking back. A man’s refusal was light and without hesitation.
Mumbling about demons, no one does things without benefits.
Baby, we’re just friends.
Ding!
Jiang Nian reached the door, his phone vibrated, picked it up to glance.
Yu Zhiyi: "(smile) Make your request."
