Xu Shuang doesn't talk much, rarely sends ssages for trivial matters.
"Are you free later?"
Jiang Nian looked at the questions on the table. He was busy, as he still had to et Lan Lan in the evening.
To ask for an allowance.
However, he decided to hear about it first. He could check answers during night study, but he valued his friends.
"What's up?"
"I rember you can drive," Xu Shuang ssaged, "I want to go sowhere, Shadong Town."
Great, a driver once again.
"What ti?" Jiang Nian typed back.
Xu Shuang was typing, but after half a minute, there was no response. He waited a bit longer before receiving a reply.
"Right now, if possible?"
Imdiately?
What good student carries their driver's license to school every day?
He did.
Jiang Nian: "OK."
They arranged to et at a spot across from the West Gate. They t at a small shop that sold cigarettes and ended their chat.
Taking leave was simple, just a word to Old Liu.
But missing the evening physics study session, where the test paper would be discussed, was pretty much as good as skipping class.
His science wasn't strong, which truly hurt.
"It's all Li Hua's fault!"
"What?" Li Hua looked up, confused, squinting at Jiang Nian, "Where are you going?"
"Wu..." Jiang Nian stopped mid-word and raised his hand.
"Chi Shi!" Li Hua held a vocabulary book, pale-faced, really terrified of Jiang, that living King Yan.
Jiang Nian laughed, thinking to himself that Li Hua was guilty. He was different, he only appreciated beauty.
That's how he could be confident and upright, acting justly and sitting righteously.
"Help staple the test paper."

Jiang Nian's test paper had few mistakes, so it wouldn't take much ti to correct.

Jiang Nian left laughing, his absence from the classroom was routine, and the people in Class Three were long used to it.
He exited the school gate.
He stood by the small shop, glanced back, and saw the shopkeeper's wife watching a TV drama on her phone at the counter.
Under the fluorescent light, small bugs flew around.
"What are you buying?" The shopkeeper's wife looked him over and asked tentatively, "Want loose cigarettes?"
"No, just waiting for soone." Jiang Nian shook his head.
"Oh."
After a while, a familiar figure appeared at the West Gate. The person looked around by the school gate and then walked over quickly upon seeing Jiang Nian.
"Sorry, it's a bit urgent." Xu Shuang said sincerely, "For the ti taken, I'll compensate you."
Jiang Nian didn't refuse, nodding in agreent.
"Okay."
Xu Shuang breathed a sigh of relief, "Co with , the car is parked in the Boya District yard."
Boya District was right across from the West Gate, just a few steps away.
Jiang Nian took the keys from the benefactor, finding it to be a BMW. He skillfully started the car and drove slowly towards the community.
After coming out of Zhenan County, the closer they got to Shadong Town, the fewer the cars on the road, and the more desolate the roads beca.
At first, Xu Shuang would say a few words to ease the car's atmosphere, but the closer they got, the more silent it beca.

Lin Dong smiled, also feeling a bit sentintal. Jiang Nian was right, a good person cos in handy when it counts.

"Alright."

With a loud honk, a truck's horn sounded, rumbling on Shadong Town's road on the other side.
Road construction up ahead, and a crash had occurred, causing a traffic jam.
Jiang Nian stopped the car, glanced at Xu Shuang.
"Is it urgent?"
Up ahead, red taillights were slowly moving forward. So cars were trying to cut in, creating quite a chaotic scene.
Xu Shuang turned her head, frowning slightly.
"Yes."
It was indeed urgent, but now she also had to pee urgently. Rushing out from school, she hadn't expected a traffic jam.

"There's a fork in the road ahead, we can stop at a small yard to ask."
Hearing this, Xu Shuang straightened up to look. There was indeed a fork and a small yard by the roadside up ahead.
