At this thought, Lu Shuangyue struggled to her feet and staggered toward Liu Ergou. When he saw her coming, he assud she wanted to thank him, so he paid her no mind. But soon, he felt a rush of air whipping toward his face. Liu Ergou froze for a second before his reflexes kicked in. He raised a hand, blocking the surprise attack, and used the montum to pull its owner down with him.
The next second, Lu Shuangyue crashed into Liu Ergou's arms. Before he could say anything, she struggled and said indignantly, "I can't believe you're this kind of person! How could you do sothing like that to ? Just you wait, I won't let you get away with this! If you have any guts, you'll let go! I'll teach you a lesson!"
Her words were baffling, but as her lithe body squird against his, Liu Ergou found the sensation quite enjoyable. Within monts, he was frozen in place, not daring to move rashly. Following her gaze, Liu Ergou looked down, and his eyes were filled with a vast expanse of snowy white. The sight caused another surge of heat to flare up inside him. Lu Shuangyue noticed he had suddenly gone quiet and looked up at him, only to find him staring right at her. This made her blush even more furiously.
Outwardly, she was the aloof female CEO whom no one dared approach. But in reality, she had never been in a relationship, and this was the first ti she had ever been so intimate with a man.
Finally, unable to bear his aggressive gaze any longer, she whispered a reminder. "Um, Liu Ergou, right? Could you let up first? I want to change my clothes. This isn't exactly appropriate."
Her words snapped Liu Ergou back to his senses. He hastily pulled his hands back and stood up. He then ran out of the office, hunched over, making sure to pull the door closed behind him.
Watching his broad back disappear, Lu Shuangyue couldn't help but murmur softly. "He's so strong!"
The mont the words left her mouth, she reacted, quickly covering her burning cheeks with her hands. Oh, Lu Shuangyue, what on earth are you thinking! How annoying!
She climbed to her feet and stomped her small foot in frustration. That single stomp, however, sent astonishing waves through the air. If Liu Ergou had been there to see it, his eyes might have been completely dazzled.
After taking several deep breaths, Lu Shuangyue managed to calm herself down. She hurried to the wardrobe in her office, found a spare set of clothes, and changed in a flash. After quickly touching up her makeup, she returned to her desk and called out to the door, "Co in!"
