Finding herself teased by Liu Ergou, Hu Jing was montarily at a loss for words. Seizing the opportunity, Liu Ergou let go of her, laughed heartily, and walked outside. It wasn't until his figure had completely disappeared that Hu Jing, still lying on the couch, finally ca to her senses.
Realizing what had happened, she quickly sat up and looked down. A clear, wet set of teeth marks was left where Liu Ergou had bitten her. Seeing this, Hu Jing gritted her teeth. "Damn you, Liu Ergou! And you dared to say you didn't use force! There are teeth marks! I'm so mad! Aaargh! Just you wait! Next ti I see you, I'll bite you back!"
Hu Jing hadn't been quiet, and Liu Ergou, who hadn't gone far, heard her loud and clear. He couldn't help but feel an urge to laugh.
She wants to bite back? She should be glad I don't bite her a couple more tis!
Just as Liu Ergou was about to leave for good, he heard Hu Jing speak again from inside the room. "Hmph, just you wait! When the ti cos, I'll only look after my own cornfield. I won't care about anything else! I'll let all of his dicinal seedlings die!"
After saying her piece, Hu Jing finally re-buttoned her blouse.
Hearing this from outside, Liu Ergou couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. Heh, this little vixen still hasn't learned her lesson. She's actually planning to cause trouble while I'm away. Even if she's just joking, I'm taking it seriously.
With that thought, Liu Ergou abruptly turned and walked back.
His return startled Hu Jing, who had just straightened her clothes. She curled up on the couch, watching him warily. "You... I thought you left! Why are you back?"
Hearing her, Liu Ergou chuckled. "I was leaving, but on my way out, I heard soone was planning to cause trouble for , so I ca back! Isn't that right, Hu Jing?"
He strode over to the couch and sat down right beside her. This frightened Hu Jing so much she almost jumped off the couch, but before she could, Liu Ergou pushed her right back down.
Staring at Liu Ergou beside her, Hu Jing felt a pang of guilt. "Trouble? Who would cause trouble for you? No one in our village would dare. You must have misheard!"
"Okay, okay, you should go. If you don't leave now, my uncle and aunt will be back soon. You'll be in big trouble then, and you won't be able to leave even if you want to!" Hu Jing tried to push him away, urging him to leave.
However, Liu Ergou simply grabbed her outstretched hand and pressed her down onto the couch once more. Staring up at his face so close to hers, Hu Jing felt like she was going mad. Wait, how did I get pinned to the couch again? What is happening?
But before she could process it, Liu Ergou made his move. His hand was a blur. In the blink of an eye, the clothes she had just put on were disheveled again. In another blink, she was shocked to find they had vanished completely.
This ti, Hu Jing was truly frightened. She frantically tried to cover herself, her voice trembling. "Er... Er Gou, you... you can't do this! I'm not your girlfriend, and this is my uncle and aunt's house! They could be back any minute! You... give back my clothes! Don't be like this!"
Seeing her terrified expression, Liu Ergou let out a sly laugh, a glint of triumph in his eyes. She dared to plot against . It's only because of my good temper that I haven't punished her properly on the spot!
When Hu Jing saw his smile, she was stricken with terror. Clutching her chest, she tried to shrink into the corner of the sofa. But the sofa was only so big; no matter how she tried to hide, she couldn't escape him. In the end, Liu Ergou grabbed her with one hand and pulled her onto his lap.
A flicker of despair crossed Hu Jing's eyes. Is he really going to take today? This is happening way too fast! But even in her despair, she felt a strange, inexplicable flicker of anticipation. The contradiction left her utterly confused, unable to grasp her own feelings.

Seeing her huddled there, Liu Ergou laughed heartily. "Hu Jing, let that be a lesson for trying to ss with my herbal dicine! If you ever think about scheming against again, I'll thrash your bottom until it's raw!"
With that, he stepped forward, pinched her cheek, and left humming a cheerful tune.
This ti, Hu Jing watched his retreating back without daring to say a single word. After a good ten minutes had passed, still curled up on the sofa, she carefully picked up her clothes and quickly put them back on.
Once she was dressed, she glared at the empty doorway and shouted, "Liu Ergou, just you wait! You spanked today, but I swear I'll get my revenge sooner or later!"
After her outburst, however, she imdiately felt a surge of fear and glanced around nervously. Only after confirming that Liu Ergou hadn't returned did she let out a long, shaky sigh of relief.
anwhile, Liu Ergou had already arrived ho. He went straight to his room and flopped down onto the bed, ready for a nap.
Just then, his sister-in-law, Xu Yulan, ca rushing in from outside, looking flustered. As she hurried toward him, Liu Ergou sat up, puzzled by her anxious expression.
"Sister-in-law, what's wrong?" he asked. "Why are you in such a rush? Did sothing happen to our land?"
Before he could get another word out, Xu Yulan threw herself into his arms.
Her action left Liu Ergou completely baffled. What is she doing? Why is she acting like this?
