Lu Shuangyue said nothing about Liu Ergou's la excuse, simply turning to look at Mi Xiaoying.

"I am sure most of you recognize our guest, but for those who don't, allow to make an introduction! This distinguished guest's surna is Mi. She is Mi Xiaoying, a well-known entrepreneur in our city! And this very seminar is sponsored by her! Now, please join in welcoming President Mi!"
As he spoke, Master Gongsun began to clap. However, the crowd was not receptive. The applause was sparse and half-hearted. Clearly, most of those present were more curious about Mi Xiaoying's arrival than they were welcoming.
Mi Xiaoying, however, remained unfazed. She showed little reaction to the cold reception. She had grown accustod to such situations and had faced far worse before. This display hardly registered.
After straightening her clothes, Mi Xiaoying stood up and addressed the room in a clear voice. "I imagine you are all a bit curious about my presence here today. And you are likely even more curious as to why I proposed holding a second seminar.
