Upon hearing Mi Xiaoying's words, Liu Ergou imdiately looked at her. Seeing his gaze, she stuck out her tongue and said sheepishly, "It's about that Traditional Chinese dicine Association thing from before."
"I already..."
Before Mi Xiaoying could finish, Liu Ergou cut her off. "Just forget about it. It's not a big deal."
"It didn't cause any real trouble," he added. With that, he stood up and headed for the door. "I've got sothing to take care of. As you both heard, I need to step out for a bit. I'll be back later."

By the ti he finished speaking, Liu Ergou was already out the door. He headed to the hotel parking garage, got into his new car, and drove off.
Back in the hotel room, Mi Xiaoying stared at the closed door and couldn't help but turn to He Mingxue.
"Mingxue, is Er Gou angry?" she asked.
He Mingxue, who had just woken up, had no idea what had just happened. She heard Mi Xiaoying's question, and a look of utter confusion crossed her face.
Seeing her expression, Mi Xiaoying slapped her own forehead in exasperation. I knew I shouldn't have asked her.
anwhile, Liu Ergou had driven up to Baozhi Hall. The mont he arrived, he spotted Lu Shuangyue standing by the entrance, seemingly waiting for soone. A bold idea suddenly struck him. He slamd on the brakes, stopping his car right in front of her. Deliberately deepening his voice, he said, "Hey beautiful, what are you doing out here all alone?"
"It's so hot today, why not co cool off in my car?
"This is a Land Rover, pretty cool, right? Co on, get in for a ride!"
Lu Shuangyue, who was waiting for Liu Ergou, frowned at his words. "No thanks, I'm waiting for soone." She walked away from his car and found a different spot to continue waiting.
Seeing this, Liu Ergou imdiately drove up to her again. "Co on, beautiful! Humor !" he pleaded. "Get in, I'll take you for a spin!"
This ti, Lu Shuangyue simply ignored him, frowning as she moved to yet another spot.

Seeing she was on the verge of real anger, Liu Ergou knew he couldn't continue the joke. He quickly rolled down the window, smiling at her. "Shuang Yue, it's ! You couldn't tell?"

Without hesitation, Liu Ergou started the car. Following Lu Shuangyue's directions, they left.
Soon, they had left the city and arrived at an industrial park in the suburbs, where Liu Ergou pulled over. They both got out and headed into the factory complex. As they walked, Lu Shuangyue began her tour.
"Ergou, this is the complex I just purchased. The location is a bit remote, but the price was great.

Having figured it out, Liu Ergou imdiately pulled her into his arms, holding her close. He began to comfort her, his voice soft and gentle.
