CREAK.
The door was slowly pushed open, jolting Hu Jing awake with a start. Watching the door swing open before her, she swallowed hard. The sounds emanating from the room seed to possess a special kind of magic, beckoning her to join in. Listening to these sounds, Hu Jing couldn't hold back and stepped into the room.
As she entered, she abruptly ca to her senses.
It seems this isn't a good ti to go in!
After all, that was Liu Ergou and her own aunt... If she were to go in at this ti, one could only imagine what the scene would turn into. Everyone would probably lose the mood to continue. Moreover, sharing a man with another woman, especially her own aunt, was sothing Hu Jing told herself she still couldn't accept.

She hardly slept at all that night.

Liu Ergou woke up groggily, staring blankly at Wu Guifang sleeping soundly beside him. It took a good three or four minutes before he ca to his senses. He had spent the night at Wu Guifang's house.

A chill of fear ran down his spine at the thought.
Imdiately, Liu Ergou quickly gathered the clothes scattered on the floor and threw them on in a flash. Then, he nudged Wu Guifang, who was still fast asleep.
"Auntie, Auntie, wake up!"
Hearing Liu Ergou's call, Wu Guifang opened her eyes in a daze.
"Ah? Er Gou!" she mumbled. "You... you want more?"
With that, she naturally wrapped her arms around Liu Ergou's neck, puckering her lips to kiss him.
When it ca to "morning exercise," Liu Ergou was usually ga. But this ti was different. This was soone else's house, the village chief's house no less. Liu Jingming could return at any mont.
With this in mind, Liu Ergou hurriedly stopped her. "What are you thinking, Auntie!" he said.
"Look, it's already morning. I woke you up to tell you I have to go. If I don't leave now, Liu Jingming could be back any minute."
"If Liu Jingming saw this, all hell would break loose!"
Hearing Liu Ergou, the still-confused Wu Guifang suddenly ca to her senses.
Er Gou is right! How could I have forgotten sothing so important?
Now clear-headed, Wu Guifang quickly nodded. "Er Gou, look at your forgetful auntie, I completely forgot about all that."
As she spoke, she picked up her clothes from the floor and started to dress.
"Er Gou, I won't waste any more ti. Just hurry up and go. We can talk about other things later."
"I need to clean up the scene!"
Liu Ergou nodded. "Alright, Auntie, I'm heading out!"
With that, Liu Ergou turned to leave. But after just a few steps, he seed to rember sothing, slapped his forehead, and turned back.
"Oh right, Auntie, I almost forgot!"
"From now on, be more discreet at the plantation. Don't be so arrogant. Even though we're all familiar with each other, you can't act like that. Do you hear ?"
Wu Guifang, who was getting dressed, imdiately wanted to retort.
However, Liu Ergou didn't give her the chance.
"Auntie, don't give any useless excuses!"
"Let tell you, if I get another complaint about you, then don't bla for getting nasty!"
"You're there to work, not to act like a queen!"
"I don't mind you slacking off, but don't be so brazen about it. If you make it so others can't stand it, then I won't be able to keep you!"
Having said his piece, Liu Ergou turned and left, leaving Wu Guifang standing there with her mouth open, speechless.

Though she was grumbling, her hands didn't stop moving. After finishing dressing, she imdiately opened a window to air out the room's indescribable sll. Then, she began to tidy up the ss.
anwhile, after leaving Wu Guifang's house, Liu Ergou headed straight ho.
Once there, he flopped onto his bed and stretched out lazily.
There's nothing like your own room.
Staring at the ceiling, Liu Ergou spaced out for a while. By the ti he snapped out of it, a wave of drowsiness washed over him. He didn't fight it, simply closing his eyes to get so proper sleep.
But just as he did, he heard footsteps approaching.
Liu Ergou assud it was his sister-in-law, so he paid it no mind, simply turning over to go back to sleep.
The next second, however, Feng Chunling's voice cut through the air.
"Er Gou, now that you're back in the village, are you just going to ignore your auntie?"
"Hmph..."
Hearing Feng Chunling's voice, Liu Ergou finally sat up in bed.
"That's not true, Auntie, don't be ridiculous! When have I ever ignored you?" Liu Ergou said. "I thought you were my sister-in-law, I didn't expect it to be you."
"So, Auntie, what's up?"
Hearing this, Feng Chunling shot him an aggrieved look.
"Er Gou, listen to yourself. Do I have to have a reason to co find you?"
"Can't I just co over to see how you're doing?"
Her words took Liu Ergou aback, but he quickly caught on.
He smoothly got to his feet and naturally pulled Feng Chunling into his arms.
With a grin, he said, "Oh... so Auntie missed , huh!"
"But, Auntie, I couldn't really tell that you missed ."
"How about this? Call 'husband,' and then I'll believe you!"
At his words, Feng Chunling's face imdiately flushed with embarrassnt.
