Upon hearing Zhou Na's sweet call, Liu Ergou's face showed little expression. He simply asked in a cold voice, "Alright, how many cars do I need to buy this ti to get you that manager position?"
Zhou Na's expression froze on her face. After a long mont, she finally replied cautiously, "Not that many... Just three or four more cars worth a few hundred thousand each, and that should be enough."
Three or four more cars, each worth hundreds of thousands? The thought made Liu Ergou burst out laughing.
"Hahaha, three or four cars, each worth hundreds of thousands?" Liu Ergou looked at Zhou Na with a mocking gaze.
"Do you have any idea what you're saying?" Liu Ergou said coldly. "At a minimum of 200,000 per car, three of them would be 600,000. Your monthly salary, even if we assu it's 10,000, would require five whole years of scrimping and saving to afford that! And now you're talking about 600,000 like it's nothing! Do you think you can be so reckless just because soone else is footing the bill?"
Seeing Liu Ergou's icy deanor, Zhou Na knew she had truly angered him. Without the slightest hesitation, she dropped to her knees before him.
Zhou Na was well aware that ever since Liu Ergou had started providing for her, her life had improved significantly. She could buy any clothes and bags she fancied and eat food she could never have afforded before. This was the life I've always dread of. At this thought, the kneeling Zhou Na quickly said, "I'm sorry, Master!"

When Liu Ergou heard Zhou Na call him "Master," his eyes lit up. This Zhou Na is rather interesting, Liu Ergou thought.
Seeing that she was about to say more, Liu Ergou waved a hand to cut her off.
"Alright, that's enough apologizing. I just hope this is the last ti sothing like this happens. Also, don't think you can morally blackmail by kneeling in the street. This money doesn't grow on trees, so don't assu that trick will work on ."
"Get up. Since I promised you, I'll follow through. Even if it ans buying ten cars, I'll do it. A promise is a promise."
Liu Ergou's words filled Zhou Na with elation, and she quickly scrambled up from the floor.
Liu Ergou then parked the car in a space and got out. He casually wrapped an arm around Zhou Na's slender waist, and his hand mischievously slipped under her skirt.
After a quick inspection, Liu Ergou nodded in satisfaction.
"Not bad, you kept your promise! Sure enough, you're not wearing any."
Hearing his words, Zhou Na flashed a sweet smile. But Liu Ergou said no more, instead leading her into the 4S dealership with his arm around her.
As soon as they entered, an ordinary-looking, middle-aged woman in a uniform approached them. Reaching Liu Ergou, she extended a hand and introduced herself.
"Hello, sir. I'm the owner of this 4S dealership. Zhou Na ntioned you were looking to buy cars from ? And more than one?"
Liu Ergou nodded and lightly shook her hand. The owner then led them to the car display area.
The owner pointed to the cars before them and said, "I assud you'd be looking for comrcial vehicles, so I took the liberty of bringing you to our comrcial vehicle section. I hope you find sothing you like, but if not, we can certainly look at other models!"
Hearing the owner's words, Liu Ergou had a sudden realization. I'm sothing of a businessman now, so I really do need a few comrcial vehicles. It looks like both the plantation and the Snow Skin Cream venture need them, so buying a few is a good idea. Besides, I have more than enough money in my bank account.
With that decided, Liu Ergou surveyed the cars in front of him. After looking them over, he turned to the owner and said, "I like these models. I'll take five. I can pay in full right now!"
The owner nodded. "Of course, sir. If you don't like the comrcial..."
Mid-sentence, the owner suddenly registered what he had said.
"Ah? Sir, what did you just say! You want five?"
Liu Ergou simply nodded and repeated himself.
The owner was overjoyed and hurriedly told Zhou Na to get the contracts. Zhou Na imdiately trotted off to fetch them. However, Liu Ergou noticed that as she ran, Zhou Na didn't dare take large strides. She kept her steps small, forcefully holding down her skirt as if afraid of it flying up.
Liu Ergou couldn't help but chuckle at the sight.
Yet, just as he was enjoying his laugh, the owner suddenly asked, "Um, sir, may I ask what your relationship is with Zhou Na?"
Caught off guard by the owner's abrupt question, Liu Ergou paused for a mont before replying without looking up, "Nothing special. We're just a normal couple."
Then he retorted, "Why? Does your dealership check custors' relationships before selling a car? Or are you moonlighting as cops?"
The owner naturally understood his words were a jab at her. She imdiately explained, "Of course not, sir, please don't misunderstand. I was just asking. I just don't want to see my female employees being forced to do things they don't want to do just to make a sale. Although I'm just their boss, I refuse to let sothing like that happen!"
Hearing this, Liu Ergou couldn't hide his surprise. He hadn't expected to et a boss who actually cared about her employees. Usually, for any boss, performance is all that matters, especially in industries like real estate and car dealerships where sales are everything. But here she is, saying sothing like this.
Seeing the shocked expression on his face, the owner said with a smile, "I can see you're surprised to hear say that. Honestly, I'm not putting on an act. Everything I've said is from the heart. After all... sigh..."
Liu Ergou imdiately understood the aning behind her sigh. It seems this owner has a story of her own.
But Liu Ergou didn't dwell on it. Instead, he looked at the owner and explained earnestly, "Rest assured, Ma'am. I, Liu Ergou, would never stoop to doing sothing so despicable."
