At this point, Liu Ergou abruptly stopped talking. He suddenly rembered that he hadn't seen Hui Hui for a long ti.
Where had Hui Hui gone?
Beside him, Hu Jing saw him fall silent and looked at him in confusion.
"Hm? Er Gou, why did you stop talking?"
Hearing this, Liu Ergou furrowed his brow and asked, "I just rembered sothing. Hu Jing, do you know where Hui Hui has gone? I haven't seen her in a very long ti!"
Hu Jing was taken aback for a mont before replying, "I'm curious about that too. I asked my uncle and aunt, and they told that Hui Hui had gone away to school. I heard she went sowhere near Jingdu and got into a really good university!"
Hearing this, Liu Ergou nodded. "I see. That's why I haven't seen her for so long. Honestly, I've been so busy lately that I've forgotten a lot of things."
However, as he said this, another question popped into his mind. "But then again, since Hui Hui went to school, why didn't she let know? It made think she'd gone missing!"
Seeing the puzzled look on his face, Hu Jing just shrugged. "I have no idea. Hui Hui had already left by the ti I arrived."
Since Hu Jing didn't know, Liu Ergou didn't press the matter further. Instead, he drove her back to the plantation. On the way, they took another look at the color-steel houses that had been erected.
In total, three color-steel houses had been set up on the plantation. The largest one served as the staff lounge. Of the other two, one was Liu Ergou's office, and the other belonged to Hu Jing.
Liu Ergou was very satisfied with these three color-steel houses. He told Hu Jing that if any problems or a shortage of funds ca up, she should let him know, and he would promptly help her solve them.
After saying this, Liu Ergou turned and left, returning to his ho.
As soon as he got ho, he saw Xu Yulan cooking. She was wearing a new pair of trousers and was bent over, her ample rear making Liu Ergou's mouth go dry. Although his other won weren't bad, compared to Xu Yulan, she was always the best!
With this thought, Liu Ergou quickly stepped forward and gave his sister-in-law's rear a hard slap.

The slap made Xu Yulan jump. "Ah!" she shrieked, covering her rear as she spun around.
When she saw it was Liu Ergou, she imdiately let out a sigh of relief. Then she said irritably, "Er Gou, what do you think you're doing! You brat, slapping like that! It's broad daylight! Aren't you afraid soone will see? What would I do if soone saw that!"
Hearing her words, Liu Ergou just chuckled and pulled her into his arms. "What's there to be afraid of, Sis-in-law? I locked the door when I ca in. No one will see, so don't worry!" he said, chuckling again.
With that, Liu Ergou gave Xu Yulan a passionate kiss.
Seeing his smug look, Xu Yulan helplessly poked his forehead. "You... I really don't know what to do with you."
Just as she said that, she slapped her own forehead. "Oh, my mory is so bad, Er Gou! I almost forgot sothing important!"
Hearing this, Liu Ergou raised an eyebrow. "Oh? What is it, Sis-in-law? Tell ."
Xu Yulan quickly explained, "I forgot to tell you, Er Gou! Last night, Feng Chunling and Yang i ca looking for you. They were absolutely fuming and asked if you were here. I told them you weren't, which only made them angrier. Then they left."
Hearing this, Liu Ergou inwardly cursed. This is bad. He rembered promising Feng Chunling yesterday that he would go see them, or they should co find him if he didn't. But he had gotten tied up with sothing and ended up spending the night at Mi Xiaoying's place, completely forgetting his promise.
It looks like Feng Chunling and Yang i are really angry. Otherwise, they wouldn't have shown up fuming like Sis-in-law said.
With that thought, Liu Ergou said, "I get it, Sis-in-law. I'll head over now and see what Feng Chunling and Yang i want. I'll be back later!"
Having said that, Liu Ergou turned and headed for the door.
Seeing this, Xu Yulan's face filled with worry. "Oh, Er Gou, maybe you shouldn't go. From how furious they looked, they're definitely here to pick a fight, and you can't win an argunt against those two. I'm telling you, don't go! You'll just get into a fight and end up angry. It's not worth it!"

Liu Ergou just chuckled. "Do you think handling just Yang i would be enough? She's feisty, sure, but is she as feisty as Feng Chunling?"
As soon as he said that, Xu Yulan froze as if struck by lightning, taking a long mont to process it.
Seeing his sister-in-law's astonished look, Liu Ergou laughed. "Sis-in-law, what's so surprising? You know my situation better than anyone. Isn't this normal?"
As he spoke, he stepped forward and gave Xu Yulan's behind another firm slap before turning and leaving with a loud laugh.
Watching his retreating figure, Xu Yulan sighed helplessly. "Ah... what a ss!"
Muttering to herself, she stomped her foot and turned back to her cooking.
To be honest, Xu Yulan didn't really have a problem with this. Liu Ergou was right; she knew his situation all too well. Besides, him having a few more won might even take so of the pressure off her.
anwhile, Liu Ergou had already arrived at Feng Chunling's front door.
He was about to knock, but after a mont's thought, he decided against it. Instead, he gently pushed on the gate.
He heard a soft creak as the gate slowly swung open.
