After repeatedly failing to take down Liu Ergou, Yuan Wenkang had nearly skinned himself alive in frustration. This ti, however, he was acting completely out of character.
Is Yuan Wenkang planning to get rid of next? Sixth Master wondered. As he trembled with fear, Yuan Wenkang said with a smile, "I know what you're thinking, but you're overthinking it."
"From our past few encounters, you must have realized that Liu Ergou isn't so easy to deal with. The reason I asked you to cause trouble for him this ti was simply to make his life a little less pleasant. If you alone could bring him down, I wouldn't be having such a headache!"
Hearing Yuan Wenkang's explanation, Sixth Master mulled it over. It really did seem to make sense. Liu Ergou was indeed no easy opponent.
Seeing that Sixth Master's expression had eased considerably, Yuan Wenkang continued, "I also received a call from Sun Gang just now. My original plan was for him to set up a company and directly undercut Liu Ergou's business. But Sun Gang just told that their debut livestream only drew a pitiful few hundred viewers. And keep in mind, they were selling those overseas costics at a loss! To think they still attracted so few people!
"This just goes to show that if we want to take Liu Ergou down, we'll have to use other ans!"
Hearing this, Sixth Master imdiately understood. He said at once, "Young Master Yuan, I understand. You're planning to get physical with Liu Ergou, right?"
Yuan Wenkang nodded. "Indeed. It seems we're out of other options."
However, Sixth Master shook his head. "Young Master Yuan, I'm afraid that plan isn't very realistic. You'll need another way!"
Yuan Wenkang's brow furrowed. "What do you an by that, Little Six?"
Sixth Master quickly explained, "It's like this, Young Master Yuan. We tried to go after Liu Ergou ourselves once, but we found out we simply couldn't beat him! Six or seven of my n went over, and it was like serving up dishes for him to feast on. He didn't even break a sweat! Besides, I heard a while back that even that muscle-bound Sun Gang was beaten by Liu Ergou. So, getting physical... I don't think it's a realistic option!"
As Yuan Wenkang listened to Sixth Master's account, a hint of surprise touched his face. "Oh? Liu Ergou is that formidable? I thought he was just so country bumpkin who knew a few farmhand tricks. I didn't expect him to be a true martial artist. Well now, this is getting interesting!"
With that, Yuan Wenkang let out a cold laugh and fell silent, sitting perfectly still.
The calr Yuan Wenkang appeared, the more terrified Sixth Master felt. This was the calm before the storm. Who knew what might happen in the next second?
Just as Sixth Master was starting to fidget uncontrollably, Yuan Wenkang finally spoke. "Since he's a martial artist, we'll need a martial artist to take care of him. Relying on you street punks just isn't going to cut it!"
With that, Yuan Wenkang picked up his phone and called Sun Gang. The call connected a mont later.
Yuan Wenkang began, "Sun Gang, things are developing just as we anticipated. Go on, call out those n of yours. You've supported them for so long; it's ti they did so work for you! Of course, I'll be sending a few of my own people as well. Alright, once you've made the arrangents, have your n co straight here."
Without giving Sun Gang a chance to reply, Yuan Wenkang hung up.
After the call, Yuan Wenkang sat there and waited quietly, his deanor unhurried. Sixth Master stood to the side, shifting uncomfortably.
Yuan Wenkang noticed and waved a dismissive hand. "Alright, you can go. I'll call for you when they arrive."
Hearing this, Sixth Master felt as if he had been granted amnesty and practically fled the room.
「Two hours later.」
Yuan Wenkang's door was pushed open again, and three robust n with sharp, intelligent eyes walked in. Upon seeing Yuan Wenkang, they imdiately bowed their heads in respect. Yuan Wenkang, however, said nothing and continued to wait quietly.
「About fifteen minutes later.」
Two more n walked in. Unlike the previous trio, these two were lean and wiry, but their temples bulged noticeably, and their gazes were exceptionally piercing.
Only then did Yuan Wenkang finally react.
He yelled toward the door, "Little Six, get in here!"
As his voice faded, Sixth Master quickly pushed the door open and entered. The mont he stepped inside, he saw the five n standing there. Just as he was about to say sothing, Yuan Wenkang spoke before he could.
"Little Six, you said Liu Ergou was a great fighter, didn't you? Well, I'd like to see just how great he is! See these five n in front of you? They are all extraordinary. Three of them are masters of Muay Thai, Karate, and Capoeira. The other two are proficient in Baji Fist and Bagua Fist. Any one of them could take on ten opponents alone. I refuse to believe Liu Ergou can beat this!"
Sixth Master stood there, dumbfounded. He never expected Yuan Wenkang could summon actual martial arts masters.
There was just one thing he didn't understand. He mustered up the courage to ask, "Young Master, I get Muay Thai and Karate... but what's this Capoeira? Is it a kind of milk tea?"
After he spoke, the temperature in the room seed to drop several degrees. Sixth Master couldn't help but shiver.
Yuan Wenkang, however, suddenly burst out laughing. "Hahaha, milk tea? Fuck! Why don't you just say Capoeira is a taro boba tea! You're spouting nonsense!"
Yuan Wenkang turned to one of the three n. "Go on, tell him what Capoeira really is. It's downright shaful for one of my n to be so ignorant!"
As soon as he finished speaking, one of the dark-skinned n from the trio stepped forward. He approached Sixth Master and said in stilted Dragon Country language, "Dragon Country man. Capoeira. Not milk tea. It is a battle dance! Very powerful! The movents are graceful, like a dance, but its lethality is terrifying! Do you understand?"
Hearing this, Sixth Master shivered. Though the man's Dragon Country language was stilted, Sixth Master could feel the raw killing intent behind his words.
