Before Liu Er Gou could think of what to do, Liu Yunxi had already strode purposefully into the steel-paneled house.
At a glance, she saw Liu Er Gou sitting there, with Mi Xiaoying kneeling between his legs.
"Uh, Yun Xi, listen to , let explain!" Liu Er Gou said, clumsily pushing Mi Xiaoying away.
However, to Liu Er Gou’s surprise, Liu Yunxi didn’t show much of a reaction upon seeing the scene, not even a hint of anger. Instead, she silently walked to the door and closed it. Then, she went to the window and drew the curtains. After doing all this, she sat down beside Liu Er Gou.
Seeing this, Liu Er Gou stuttered, "That, Yun... Yun Xi, I..."
He stamred for a while but couldn’t form a complete sentence.
Just then, Liu Yunxi burst out laughing.
"Hahaha, Er Gou, you look so funny right now!" she said. "Why the sudden guilt? Weren’t you always so bold and confident around ?"
Before Liu Er Gou could say anything else, Liu Yunxi enthusiastically took Mi Xiaoying’s hand.
"Sister, my na is Liu Yunxi," she said. "I’m Liu Er Gou’s girlfriend, and I assu you are too, right?"
A bit taken aback by Liu Yunxi’s enthusiasm, Mi Xiaoying simply nodded.
"Yes," she confird. "My na is Mi Xiaoying. I..."
Mi Xiaoying hadn’t finished her sentence when Liu Yunxi interrupted her.
"Alright, Sister Xiao Ying, no need to say more," Liu Yunxi said. "We’re all family now, so there’s no point in wasting words."
"So..."
As she spoke, Liu Yunxi suddenly stood up.
Quick as a flash, she undid her clothes and decisively took them off.
The sight left Liu Er Gou completely dumbfounded. He could never have imagined Liu Yunxi being so bold. The Liu Yunxi he knew used to be incredibly shy, nothing like the woman before him now.
Looking at the confused Liu Er Gou, Liu Yunxi seed to know what he was thinking. "At a ti like this, I can’t afford to be shy," she said. "If I keep being shy, I’m afraid I’ll end up last in line!
"Er Gou, look at yourself. Since you ca back to the village, how many tis have you co to see ? You spend all your days holed up at ho with the other sisters. You’ve completely forgotten about . If I don’t take the initiative, do you think you’d ever rember ?"
Liu Yunxi’s words filled Liu Er Gou with sha. She was right; he really had been neglecting many of his won lately. If Liu Yunxi hadn’t sought him out, he might not have even thought of her.
At this realization, Liu Er Gou stood up and pulled her directly into his arms.
"Ah, Yun Xi, you’re right. I was wrong, and I know it," he said. "So today, I’ll definitely make it up to you. Whatever you say, goes!"
With that, Liu Er Gou embraced Liu Yunxi and rolled with her onto the bed.
Mi Xiaoying, who had been watching from the side, didn’t remain idle. She stepped forward and helped Liu Er Gou out of his clothes.
After doing so, Mi Xiaoying glanced at the large bed and sofa in the steel-paneled house, feeling a wave of relief. Thank goodness I foresaw this and prepared a large bed and a sofa. Otherwise, things would have gotten awkward—soone might have ended up having to stand. The thought made Mi Xiaoying shiver. And I certainly don’t want to be the one left standing.
While Mi Xiaoying’s mind was wandering, Liu Er Gou had already gotten busy. Instead of his usual slow and steady approach, he went straight into bold, unrestrained action.
This imdiately drove Liu Yunxi wild.
The once-quiet room grew noisy. If not for the sound of the construction site outside, the commotion would have likely carried across the entire clearing.
However, in just over ten minutes, Liu Yunxi raised her hands in surrender, admitting defeat.
Seeing her chance, Mi Xiaoying quickly took over, moving obediently before Liu Er Gou.
However, Liu Er Gou suddenly picked her up and whispered in her ear, "Xiao Ying, this is getting a bit boring. I want to switch things up. What do you think?"
Hearing this, Mi Xiaoying looked confused, not understanding what kind of change Liu Er Gou had in mind.
While she was still puzzled, Liu Er Gou, still holding her, stood up and then leaped forcefully into the air.
Even while carrying another person, his jump was over half a ter high.
As they landed back on the floor, Mi Xiaoying’s eyes went wide, and she quickly clamped a hand over her mouth.
Seeing her reaction, Liu Er Gou felt a surge of excitent and began to jump again and again.
Within a few minutes, Mi Xiaoying had collapsed into Liu Er Gou’s arms, completely limp and unable to move.
Looking at the two of them, Liu Er Gou chuckled to himself.
Without even taking a break, he was ready to continue, but just as he was about to, his phone suddenly rang.
The phone rang at the worst possible mont. Without even looking, Liu Er Gou hung up. But the mont he did, it started ringing again.
With a sigh of resignation, Liu Er Gou glanced at the caller ID and saw that it was Lu Xiaoyu. He answered the call.
"Hello, Xiao Yu? Why the sudden call? Is sothing up?"
On the other end, Lu Xiaoyu said imdiately, "Er Gou, are you free today? If you are, could you co over to my place?"
Hearing this, Liu Er Gou was a little puzzled.
"Hm? I’m free today, but why the sudden invitation to your house?"
Lu Xiaoyu quickly replied, "Er Gou, you have such a bad mory! Didn’t I tell you last ti? I have a friend who wants to et you, a friend from Jingdu.
"He happens to be here today, so I thought I’d call and have you two et to get it sorted out. It would be such a hassle if your schedules don’t line up later—you might be free when he isn’t, or vice-versa!"
Lu Xiaoyu’s reminder jogged his mory. He did recall her calling before to say that soone from Jingdu was coming to see him. Liu Er Gou had even wondered who this person might be, but after mulling it over without reaching any conclusion, he had eventually given up on the puzzle. He never expected Lu Xiaoyu to call today saying the person had arrived.
With this in mind, Liu Er Gou said, "Alright, Xiao Yu, I get it. Tell your friend to wait for for a bit; I’ll head over right away. I should be there this afternoon. We can talk more then!"
