"I won't beat around the bush. Let's get straight to the point. I'll treat you now."
With that, Liu Ergou gestured for Shi Junya to lie down. A mont later, she was lying obediently on the bed.
Seeing this, Liu Ergou took a deep breath and placed his hand directly on her chest.
Just as before, True Qi flowed into his hand and trickled into Shi Junya's heart. Since only a small bit of blockage remained in her chest, Liu Ergou's treatnt was quick. He cleared the last of it in less than fifteen minutes.
One could say that Shi Junya had now fully recovered.
However, Liu Ergou had no intention of stopping. He kept his hand there, pressing slowly, while his eyes road restlessly over her body.
Within minutes, Shi Junya's face flushed red, clearly embarrassed by his stare. Even so, Liu Ergou didn't look away, his gaze lingering.
Finally, Shi Junya couldn't take it anymore. "Er Gou, stop staring at ," she whispered. "It feels like you could devour with your eyes. When you look at like that, it makes a little nervous!"
Liu Ergou paused for a mont before bursting into laughter. "Hahaha, Junya, you're hilarious. How could my eyes devour soone? I'm just taking another look to confirm you don't have any other issues. If not, then my work here is done."
Hearing this, Shi Junya gave a hesitant nod and asked, "So, Er Gou, is there still sothing wrong with ?"
At her question, Liu Ergou's smile vanished, his expression turning completely serious. The sudden change stunned Shi Junya and made her heart pound with anxiety.
His expression is so grave. It must an there's sothing seriously wrong with my body. This is bad. I have to find out what it is right now, otherwise this is too terrifying.
Shi Junya's face filled with dread. "Er Gou, why do you suddenly look so serious? Is there sothing else wrong with ? Tell quickly!" she urged. "Don't try to hide it. The more you hold back, the more nervous I'll get!"
Liu Ergou nodded grimly. "Junya, just now, when I was checking your pulse, I discovered a very serious problem," he said. "Your body has an imbalance of Yin and Yang, and it's quite severe.
"A normal body is balanced, but yours has an excess of Yin and a deficiency of Yang.

Shi Junya could understand each word he said, but when she put them together, she was lost. An excess of Yin and a deficiency of Yang? What does that even an? Does it an I'm physically weak? Or... sothing else? The more she thought, the more confused she beca. Finally, she gave up and asked him directly.
"Er Gou, just tell straight. What exactly does 'an excess of Yin and a deficiency of Yang' an?"
Hearing this, Liu Ergou chuckled. "It's obvious," he said bluntly. "It ans, Junya, that you're in need of a man!"
At his words, Shi Junya froze, a bewildered expression on her face. What... what kind of answer is that?
Frowning, she said, "Er Gou, what are you talking about? Are you sure you're not ssing with ?"
Liu Ergou replied instantly, "Why would I ss with you? Junya, tell yourself, how long have you been single?"
Shi Junya fell silent and began to think back. After a mont, she answered uneasily, "I guess... it's been about four or five years.
"Ever since my husband died in battle, I've been single. I haven't looked for anyone since."
Her words piqued his curiosity. "Why not? Junya, you're good-looking, you have a great figure, and you're a captain in the Patrol Bureau. I refuse to believe no one's pursued you!
"In fact, when you said you were single just now, I actually thought about pursuing you myself."

Shi Junya, however, simply rolled her eyes at him.
"What are you thinking, Er Gou? I'm thirty-nine. How old are you? Twenty-two, twenty-three at most. Look at the age gap between us!
"I'm old enough to be your mother!"
Now it was Liu Ergou's turn to roll his eyes. "Hey, Junya, that's not a very nice thing to say! What do you an you're old enough to be my mother?" he said, exasperated.
As he spoke, his hand began its ascent, soon reaching the base of the twin peaks.
Shi Junya didn't comnt on his complaint. Instead, she asked, "By the way, Er Gou, about this 'excess of Yin and deficiency of Yang'… can finding a boyfriend really fix it?"
Liu Ergou shook his head. "No, no, no. It's not as simple as just finding any boyfriend. If the solution were that easy, I wouldn't have made such a big deal about it!"
His response left Shi Junya completely puzzled. It's not as simple as finding a boyfriend? Then what is it?
Seeing her confused expression, Liu Ergou explained with a smile, "Junya, don't get the wrong idea!
"What I an is, you need to find a young and virile boyfriend. Otherwise, it simply won't work!"
