However, the other man frowned as he looked at the vial in his hand. "Right, I almost forgot. Is your plan foolproof? What if your little junior calls the police tomorrow morning? I’ll be completely screwed!"
Upon hearing this, the first man imdiately slapped his chest in assurance. "Don’t worry, bro, I know my junior inside and out. We’ve got leverage over her. She won’t call the police. She wouldn’t dare say a thing. Relax!"
"As long as we have this leverage, this won’t just be a one-ti thing. We can do this every day if we want!"
"It’s her own fault for ssing up her GMO corn project. Only you can solve her problem!"

Liu Ergou’s remark left them speechless, and one of them was clearly angered. But just as he was about to say sothing, the other man stopped him.
"Alright, no need to get angry! We’re just being paranoid," the other man said. "Let’s hurry. We don’t want to hold up the main event!"
Persuaded by his friend, the man rely huffed, and the two of them continued down the hall. They soon arrived at their room, took out a key card, and unlocked the door.
Just as the door swung open, Liu Ergou saw her: a woman was lying on the bed inside. Looking closer, he confird that the woman was indeed Hu Jing.
In the next second, Liu Ergou’s rage boiled over. As one of the n was about to shut the door, Liu Ergou lunged forward and kicked it with all his might.
BANG!
He kicked the door clean off its hinges. The man who had been closing it was crushed underneath, letting out a series of agonized screams.
"ARGH! OUCH!"
"Who is it?! Who’s looking for trouble?! It hurts like hell! Why did the door fall off?!"
The other man, who had already walked into the room, spun around at the thunderous noise. When he saw that the intruder was Liu Ergou, the man who had been following them, his gaze turned icy.
"Kid, it looks like you’re looking for trouble! You have no idea who you’re ssing with!" With that, the man rushed forward, raising his fist to punch Liu Ergou.
However, Liu Ergou was faster. With a snort, he stepped forward and kicked the man square in the chest, sending him flying. He crashed onto the floor at the foot of the bed.
Perhaps the commotion was too loud, because Hu Jing, who had been lying motionless on the bed, stirred and groggily sat up. When she saw the two n on the floor, she first scratched her head, then smiled. "Hey, seniors, what are you two doing on the floor? Hahaha, you look so pathetic! Get up, the floor’s cold. You’ll catch a cold!"
Saying this, Hu Jing moved to help up the man closest to her.
Watching the dazed woman, Liu Ergou commanded in a cold voice, "Hu Jing, snap out of it! Do you hear ?"
Hearing his voice, the groggy Hu Jing turned her head toward him. When she saw Liu Ergou, she was overjoyed, but her happiness lasted less than three seconds before her small face scrunched up in a frown.

With that, Hu Jing ignored Liu Ergou and turned back to help the man on the floor.
Hearing her words, Liu Ergou could only shake his head in helplessness. How much did this woman have to drink to get into this state? I really can’t believe her.
Thinking this, Liu Ergou strode forward, grabbed Hu Jing, and pulled her behind him for protection. Then he said in an annoyed tone, "Exactly how much did you have to drink to end up like this?!"
